Several stalls/areas packed to the ceiling and unable to look/purchase. Poor lighting in most of the places too. The second warehouse space seemed even more chaotic (the one to the right as you're facing them from the parking area). Lots of outdoor equipment/parts between the two and in the second warehouse too. It all depends on what you're looking for. The heavy heavy cigarette smoke within everything inside became pretty stifling as I walked through- esp the second one. A couple of open doors on the front and side does not help, nor did a few fans. I had to get home and shower and wash everything and even then I could still smell it. I do not recommend if you're an asthmatic.

They often have sales, and have high quality clothing for all kinds of people, it is my preferred vintage spot in the area. I'll also note I'm a masculine woman and wear exclusively menswear and no one has ever made me feel odd about it here, which is not as common as one would think in this day and age.

The colorful exterior should be enough to draw you into this establishment but if pink and green turns you off like 1999, you'll have to give it a pass and go inside anyway. Inside, they have an exquisite selection of dishes available for purchase but look highly breakable so those with children should proceed carefully. If you go left you'll get to see what Tom's is most famous for, the coffee! You can select the coffee yourself through the plastic canisters or select a bag at the top if you can't find your flavor or are in a hurry. Some unique coffee flavors that they carry here are coffee cake and snicker doodle! I have yet to find those flavors anywhere else! Besides coffee, you are able to buy a variety of sauces from some of the local restaurants in the area. Not sure what they taste like? No worries! You are able to sample the sauces free of charge to determine which one suits your fancy. They also have a good variety of fudge, candy, and salsa available as well as a whole other section of the store dedicated to random household decorative items, "gifts" is what it probably should be called. In short, Toms is an excellent little shop in Binghamton that is a great source for any local or visitor to pick up some great coffee...or if you want some free sauce sampling.

A really nice, large multi-vendor antique/flea market with lots of vintage finds. There is…read moresomething for everyone, including tools, toys, jewelry, home goods, rugs, art, advertising, lighters/tobacciana, even electronics. Little kids might be a bit bored but unlike many of these types of stores where it's a lot of old clothes and books, I found EOAC (may I be the first to shorten the store name to 'ee-oh ack'?) to be very diverse and was not bored at all while the rest of my family looked around. Prices can be hit or miss, and the sellers are not around in their individual 'booths' so there's no opportunity to negotiate, but given that this is a retail store, the prices were definitely not outrageous. Pro Tips: -We were there around closing time and they do shut down promptly at that time- lights off, doors locked. Make sure you buy whatever you're looking at before then. -There's a good amount of on-street parking along the side of the store, particularly the diagonal spots right around the corner, if you can snag one -The two-block area of Owego around the store is really perfect for strolling/shopping/hanging out. -The downstairs part is very clean and well organized, and not super-crowded with stuff. The upstairs is a little funkier, especially the side and back rooms (which look like they may have originally been employee break or stock rooms). Don't make the mistake of not at least taking a peek upstairs and seeing if there's anything you like. The only drawback I see is the second floor is not accessible; no ramp or elevator that I saw, only stairs (remember this was built as a department store in the 1950's). The first floor does seem wheelchair accessible though. So far we've been here twice and would stop by again if nearby. If you are a die-hard antique/collectible person, this store could be worth making into a destination all it's own.

I brought in a brand new wedding gown with tags still on it in a secure garment bag. Before I could even finish telling her what I brought in, I was told they don't consign wedding dresses anymore. I asked if she knew of anyplace that would as I was surprised by this. She said no and sorry. Again, there was no fault in the conversation but it wasn't a place I would really go into again for certain. The reviews are accurate in the items there-I have seen the same at other thrift stores around; nothing stood out in the experience. I have only a problem in that this website does not specify not accepting wedding dresses. This dress is brand new; 3 months special order from David's in a plus size and gorgeous. Perfect condition; I wanted only for someone in my area to benefit from it for a low cost without it running the risk of being handled in a thrift store. I am not certain how it could have been a deficit to the store as the dress is full lace and vintage looking as it gets. However, I couldn't even show it to her before cut off definitively. I agree with the last review when placing consignment up there in everything stated. It seems to be problems only with people coming to consign and it might very well be my appearance as well that made her more reserved although this is only an impression I got and by no means an absolute.
