Excellent service and unique Greek dishes with authentic wines to match. One of the few places to enjoy a drink outside in cafe style

I love this place! Wonderful Greek snacks, wine, and dishes! I came on valentine's day and got to be a part of a free wine tasting which was awesome. Had some delicious halloumi and rosé, and took some home made pita and spicy feta dip. 10/10 will go everytime I'm in capitol hill!

This shop is a hidden gem in Seattle! We came here for a casual dinner but were taken away by the awesome range of snack foods and trinkets available to buy. The spread sampler was our favorite thing on the menu, though the lamb was a close second!

Incredible presentation. Simple, perfect, delicious dishes made with love.

My husband and I were heading to the Comedy Club and stumbled across this gem. It at first looks like maybe a Greek store with groceries and wine. Then I spotted a small (but perfect) menu on the window. We risked it as we had only 30 minutes until our show started and opened the door. The smell of Greece instantly surrounded us and I knew we had to make it work! We sat at the small bar with a couple of locals who seem to call this place their second home. We ordered all of dour favorite Greek foods (my husband is Greek)... chicken souvlaki with tzatziki, red giant beans, and a gyro salad. Everything was fresh and ready within 10 minutes! The food is out of this World delicious. Absolute perfection. Giant beans are my favorite dish when visiting Greece and these didn't disappoint! They were served with pita and I enjoyed every bite. We were introduced to Nicos, the owner, and we're delighted by his hospitality. It is a small, intimate, adorable, charming place with the best food (and Greek groceries!) and I can't wait to visit again!

Agora is or little Greek and Italian stop every time I finish dining on 15th street. This whole street is a gem of Capitol Hill with dining joints that aren't always over crowded. Agora has a lot of dried pastas, artful vinegars, unique oils, and tasty snacks - but what is most alluring is their rotating wine selection. Chilled whites and Italian reds at an affordable price this place has kept my desire for fancy wines satiated

I wanted to go out and have some light fare for my sunday. I saw this place had lentil soup which sounded perfect for my afternoon. And perfect it was! The lentils were tender and cooked to perfection, and the whole dish had this nice umami flavor which was complimented by the light feta cheese they put on top. I mixed it with the tzatziki for extra tartness and creaminess. For dessert I tried their baklava. It was somewhat thick to spoon into my mouth but it was still very flaky and delicious, I just think it could have used less oil. I was also served a Smith Wodehouse porto with the baklava, which had this really nice fruity flavor to it. The restaurant looks a bit like a convenience store with the amount of wine you can buy brazenly displayed on the shelves. The way the food is served you would have thought it a secret! A well kept secret. The waiters were all friendly and easy to talk to. I will be backz

Homeade tzatziki was amazing! Olive tapenade was great. Wasn't crazy about the hummus. It didn't have enough garlic.

Really glad to have stumbled upon this little place. It's a restaurant, store, and bar all in one. They have a great menu, and if you like something you had you can then buy some to take home. The store also has wines, honey, spices and more. It's a pretty small place so not a lot of seating. This is a good place to come with colleagues or a couple of friends.

What a little gem of a place. While my partner enjoyed his pour, I ogled all of the delicious food emerging from the kitchen. They also have a great deli case filled with cheeses, olives, spreads and other goodness. They carry hard to find Mediterranean and Middle Eastern spices, pickled goodness, oils and pantry essentials. I loaded up! Katlynn, the Manager is incredibly knowledgeable, warm & friendly. This cozy little shop is perfect for date night. There is seating in or out on the patio. Highly recommended. Afkharistoh para poli Katlynn!

Burrata Literally to die for... melt-in-your-mouth kind of snack. I'm drooling thinking about it.

I've lived in Capitol Hill for almost two years and I've never wandered into this little diamond in the rough until just the other day while in search for some spicy olive oil. They have wines, oils, and an amazing assortment of Greek goods, but more importantly they have a secret restaurant in the back that left us jumping for joy! The food was literally amazing.... see photos of their burrata attached. We had literally just eaten dinner and had only planned on one extra beverage before we ended our evening but we jumped down the rabbit hole and couldn't stop! Their host, Nikolai (?), was so charming and kind. He spoke of early Capitol Hill, talked changing real estate with my husband, and described some beautiful wine pairings. We even excitedly signed up to join their wine club! This is definitely a new addition to our favorite places in Seattle! We can't wait to go back.

She recommended a Mezcal cocktail that was a great start! Surprising because it wasn't smoky typical to Mezcal, just perfectly balanced. Exactly what I wanted. For my main, I went with the short rib pappardelle. It was incredibly rich, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Hailee was attentive and made me feel welcome at the table, which isn't always the case when you're a party of one. Incredible service and an all-around top-tier meal. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

The hostess walked us through the entire restaurant to the dark back wall, behind the bar. With tall bar chairs. Explained we didn't want that, she walked us back through the entire restaurant to a nice table up front by the windows. Tried a Malbec duo. One was delicious and didn't like the other at all; oddly tannic. The grilled mortadella should have been more grilled. Sitting in a generous portion of burratta-like cheese, olive oil and pistachio butter, it was delicious. But desperately needed some bread. How do eat this without any bread? Once the mortadella is gone, you are just eating spoonfuls of cheese, oil and butter? We hadn't seen our waitress since the app arrived. Having finished the mortadella we finally flagged down someone and asked if we could get a little bread. He said he would handle it right away. Another 10 minutes goes by and our waitress came by. Apologized for not being around and went to see about the bread. Finally got the bread, and it was delicious. But sooooo oily! Like a sponge it dozed oil every time I tried to break off a piece. Was dying to wash my hands. Our entrées were ok. The fried chicken with fusilli was pretty good, but difficult to eat in the deep bowl. Hard to cut. The crispy tofu wrap wasn't crispy and wasn't made well. I have absolutely no idea what flavor profile it was meant to be. Just muddy. I tried to eat the first half. It was stuffed so full it was impossible to eat. I took out more than half the filling before I could manage it. When I got to the second half I understood the issue. There was almost no crispy tofu, but lots of lettuce and other fillings. Maybe it would have eaten better if it had been constructed better. The fries were fine. Pleasant server, but perhaps had too many tables as we didn't get the service expected. It's been a long time since dining at the downtown Purple. Likely wouldn't go back.

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Pike Place and enjoy wine (or cocktails, or fun, or all of the above) this place is a must. I can almost guarantee it'll become your new favorite spot.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
