As someone who is just getting into wine, this is a great place to try a bunch of different things! This is a self serve wine bar with over 50 wines on tap, and I love that you can buy 1 oz pours so you can sample different regions and styles of wine. The servers here are very enthusiastic and friendly and will help you on your wine journey of finding what you like! Every wine is labeled with the country of origin, the grape type, and flavors you can expect. This made it super easy to compare and contrast the different wines and taste what makes each wine unique. My favorite wines are dessert wines, and they had an amazing port and sherry. Everything they have here, you can buy a bottle of, and I loved the port so much I bought one to take home. While you're probably coming here for wine, the food is also pretty good. They have classic European wine snacks like charcuterie boards and tinned fish. My favorite however, was probably the burrata. Burrata is already one of my favorite cheeses, but the juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and peppery olive oil raised it to another level. Fantastic place! First great Wine options (I would prefer more Dessert wines but that's just me) The setup is nice and clean and just well designed and comfy. The service was lovely. The main person who serviced us was lovely and friendly and would chat with us about the wine. Just a lovely gentleman (Hope this doesn't sound bad but he had a lovely accent and nice to listen to) Loved his energy. The desert wine I did have was lovely and the food was tasty and good quality. While I got complimentary $5 credit to try $1 / 1 oz (so 5 oz pours of different wines), the wine was so good that I opted to purchase more credits. I got to try a variety of wines all around the world with different variations including orange wine. I love that they mention the notes and what food pairs best with the wine. There is ample seating so I can see that there won't be much wait if at all stopping by at any hour they are open. Was a 4 star experience but 5 stars since they remedied the issue. I was initially overcharged to $10 when I only had 8 oz of wine but they were all $1 so they gladly adjusted the price. Note that today only (August 5) there were select wines at $1 for 1 oz and the regular price is $2-4 for 1 oz. But given the market price, that is still a fair price and I can see myself coming back paying regular pricing to bring friends along. It would be excellent if they do happy hours of $1 select wines and I will be hooked to be a repeat customer easily! read more

Finally Seattle has a taste of Europe! I went to a dispensary like this in Amsterdam and loved the concept. I'm not much of a wine drinker but my exposure to all their different wines and the accompanying information regarding their flavor notes, origin, and recommended food pairings made this such an exploratory and fun experience. The staff here were all very helpful and friendly, and there was a particular interaction that I was so appreciative of--one of the staff noticed that my friend and I were chatting about which of the rare and special wines to try and he popped in, asked a couple questions about flavor preferences, and made an awesome recommendation. Omg why can't this place be closer to home! We took the link from Lynnwood to get to Capitol Hill and then it is literally a few blocks down (8-10 min walk). Very convenient!!!! The people working there were very kind and knowledgeable of the wines they had in stock and I LOVED everything I tasted. You can do a little small pour to just taste it but I kept hitting the middle button to get a medium fill. They also have a 3rd button for a large glass fill of wine. I think it's like 6 and then 9 oz pour. The small one (first button) I don't know the oz but it is tasting room size. You get a card and pay to use at each machine and then it balances everything at the end for you at the register. They even sell bottles of what they pour! I loved it! I got a nice bottle of Rosé to take home. It was very reasonable in price too. The atmosphere was awesome too because they have a live DJ. The thing I love about this place is that you can pick the size of your pours and try as many things as you like without committing to a full price pour of wine. PROS: - nice location, very walkable, inside is spacious and inviting; well laid out with fantastic interior decor, lighting, lots of comfy couches too - servers and workers were very professional - They have a unique system where it allows you to take a token and try out different wine pours for different oz at different price points. Found this place while exploring the streets of Seattle and am so glad we stopped in! A very unique concept with wine dispensers so that you can try as many wines as you'd like with a card that adds to your tab. My friends loved the wine - I personally had an amazing Aperol spritz and the best veggie crunch sandwich. The bread was incredible and the veggies were all crisp and fresh. I would go back just for the sandwich!! Our waitress was so sweet and worked so hard to make everything perfect for us. It was a quiet afternoon so we were one of two parties in the shop. I think the concept of tasting diff wines is fine but I dont think its a good concept to have one little mini champagne as the only option, which was not delicious. And the food has got to improve. The beet salad was terrible. It had chowmen on the side with avocado slices. It doesnt make any sense. Focacia was sort of stiff. They were out of one of the two pasta choices. I think this place would be great for purely happy hour to have couple glasses of wine. read more

My fav were the rotating dry whites at the daily drinkers and featured whites section: sauv blanc from napa. As for food, the mortadella sandwich and kale caesar were delicious. Over 80 bottles to pick from, all at different price points, so you can go fancy or just try something new without feeling like you're gambling your rent money. I didn't like one of the wines I tried but got a small pour for cheap so wasn't upset. Honestly, the real surprise here was the food. The small plates are ridiculously good. The house-made schiacciata bread is the real deal. No regrets. The space is super open, which makes it awesome for groups or parties, but they've somehow made it feel cozy and cool at the same time. It used to feel kind of sterile in its old wine bar life--now it's got this fun, laid-back vibe that makes you want to camp out and overstay your welcome. Definitely coming back. This is a new spot and not everything is worked out, when the expectation about the wine service didn't match up to what was offered on the website, well after driving 50 minutes I was upset. Bonnie the owner must be a mind reader cause not only did she make everything right. She took the time to help me reset my evening after my expectations were left wanting. She fixed the issue. Spent time. And cared. The food is awesome. The wine selection for only 80 bottles is well curated. The atmosphere is lively and with properly understood expectations I will be coming back. I really enjoyed myself. I went on a Friday night. It was fun tasting and comparing wines with my friends (it would be an awesome first-date activity). Large variety of wines. Lots of white and red wine to explore. The food looked gourmet. I went back two evenings later with a friend and had a roast broccoli sandwich which was great (and more wine tasting). My friend had the ham and manchego sandwich. I would even go back for lunch just to have the food. They also have a beer tasting room with a large selection to taste. Reasonable prices.
