I entrusted my knives, to this mobil company, but unfortunately my knives were completely ruined. Danny shaved at least 1/8 of an inch from all of my knives, and also managed to break two of my meat cleavers. I am beyond angry and disappointed. When my 10 year old pruning shears failed to cut tulip stems in one try, I searched for what to do (I didn't even know someone could sharpen shears) on yelp. And I am glad I did! Danny was responsive and I was able to make an appointment right away. Upon emailing back and forth, I learned that he would be able to sharpen more than knives and shears. I gathered all the blades in my apartment, packed them up and left them with the doorman expecting he would be unable to sharpen several of them. Lo and behold, he sharpened everything expect for the finest tooth blade for Benriner Mandolin!! (not shown in the photo) I was floored! It's been very difficult to find a knife sharpening service whose primary service is sharpening knives. Who wants to go to a shoe repair place for knife sharpening? This business finally popped up on my radar and checking more google reviews made it look like a solid business. I called to talk and made an appointment. They come to you and I got a next day appointment. They will come out further if you have some 5 or more knifes. In 40 mins he did 8 knifes and 1 scissors. Price was very good and the result was very good. I recommend The Sharpest and will call them back in a few months. Danny did a great job with my knives. I gave him a bunch of random knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and they are all razor sharp. I gave all the knives the paper cutting test and they all cut through smooth like butter. I even accidentally cut my finger so easily with one of them they were so sharp. Totally my fault and he actually warned me to be super careful with them. He did all of the sharpening outside in his van and turned around 4 knives and scissors in about 30-40 minutes. He was running a little behind schedule and even gave me a nice discount which was not necessary but very appreciated. This was in January 2022 when Omicron was ripping through NYC.
