But even if you don't, it's well worth the trip, especially if you need any kind of special repair work performed. In my case, I own a pair of very expensive, specialty occupational work boots (Wesco lineman boots). When it came time to have them re-soled, Paul assured me he could handle the job, which included stitching the soles to the boot, in addition to the normal glueing. (Most places ONLY glue. Which is fine, in most cases. But these special boots used for climbing tall powerline poles need to have the soles stitched, as well.) I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly he got my boots back to me. It wasn't more than 3 days... which is incredible, considering normally I have to ship these boots to Oregon to have them re-soled, and wait several weeks. My life depends on these boots at work, and I have never been more confident in them, knowing that they were properly repaired, and the special features (metal heel plate, and steel shank) were reinstalled properly, with the new stitched soles. And the price was right. You will NOT be disappointed.
