For some reason, when I searched "Shadowbox" on Yelp, all that came up was "Shadow Box Paperie"…read more(reviews a couple years old) at an incorrect address with no website listing. So . . . let's correct that! This darling little store is inside Warehouse Row on the "main" level. It looks like a little jewel box and if you love paper like me, you need to stop by sometime. There are lots of cute little boxed notes from all the nice-stationery-place brands, list pads and calendars (lots that would make great little gifts for stockings, baby or wedding showers, just because or just for you!), and if you need custom invitations - engraved, printed, or letter press- there are books and books to peruse. For a tiny little store, they have an impressive selection of all these pretty papers!

The Louis Sherry chocolates are scrumptious - a tin full of chocolates that are actually BETTER than the lovely, colorful tin in which they are packaged. HIGHLY RECOMMEND engaging the services of Robyn Grant, the in-house calligraphist, whose talents with a pen upgrades ANY card, gift, or invitations of any kind where you're hoping to make a positive, lasting impression! And looking for something "special"? Proprietor, Mariah Shadow Mayfield is always available to assist with the offer of her first-class consultation services. Highly recommend. Repeat customer.

The prices were ridiculous. I don't mind paying for quality but there was nothing unique here. Very generic. Nothing you couldn't just order off the internet for much cheaper. A small candle that would probably cost $10-$15 in any other boutique store was $50 here. I mean, there was nothing inspiring in this store whatsoever. Just lazy merchandising and boring, overpriced products you could buy anywhere else. That's my honest review before what happened next. The owner called the police because she claimed another customer caught my wife shoplifting. We were detained in a humiliating fashion by several police officers in the front of her store for 45 minutes while they watched security footage over and over trying to find damning evidence of something that didn't happen. When nothing was found, the spineless owner had us criminally trespassed instead of apologizing. I noticed in another review that a minority received terrible service here as well. Not surprised at all to see that the trash who owns this store is racist, too. If you order cookies from Crumbl, make sure to order well enough in advance that you won't be tempted to visit this little piece of retail hell. Boring, generic, rude, overpriced. Completely garbage ownership.

It is always a pleasure to visit Local Only Gifts & Goods! They keep this delightful shop of…read morelocally made goods and edibles fully stocked with new items available throughout the year. This visit, I discovered that they carried Divine Purity Incense and ventured to try Cocoa Amber. The Divine Purity brand lip balm has always been a favorite of mine so I knew the scent of the incense would most likely be top quality as well. The scent of the incense was perfect from start to finish. I liked the incense so much that I went back and bought several more scents to try. Can't wait to visit again and see what new items have arrived. Service: The staff are always upbeat and pleasant. They are knowledgeable about every item stocked in the shop and always glad to answer any questions you may have. Value: Prices a relative to most shops selling locally made goods. Though value is similar to other shops...I'm not sure you can beat the experience or people. Tip: To smell the scent of the incense so you find the perfect scents for you, simply tip the closed container upside down and sniff the bottom of the container where excess oils have gathered.

Most of the items are Chattanooga themed and make a great souvenir or gift. There is no dedicated parking that we could find but there is some street parking. Do not park in the Walgreens or you may get towed. There is also parking at the nearby park. The staff was friendly and the prices were what you'd expect. Overall, I love this idea and would rather support local artists than some multi million dollar corporation.

Was with two friends looking for a birthday gift for a former boss of ours. Lots of color from all the merchandise popped out as soon as we walked into the store. Swoozie's was very inviting, as were the employees who greeted me and asked if I needed help looking for anything. The store was neat, clean and well organized. This store stocks lots of items that will help you celebrate special occasions. Gifts, cards, stationery, invitations, and decorations are among so many different quality items that they sell. Most of these items are organized into specific sections of the store. For example, just about all of the cards are in the card section, and the invitations are in the invitation section. However, gifts are spread throughout the store, so customers have to walk through the entire store to get a good idea of what they stock. The three of us looked through the whole store for a birthday gift for our ex-manager, but nothing jumped out at us. While we all agreed that they have high quality merchandise in Swoozie's, we all thought that the prices were generally expensive - more expensive than what we want to pay, unless they were on clearance.
