Prices were very modest and I bought quite a few figures I'd been on the hunt for. He even has some retro video games for sale at great prices too. Parking was a little confusing - I parked up the hill behind the store in what I guess was legal parking - some spots had reserved markers on them though. The owner was really nice and was willing to negotiate prices and talked with us quite a bit. This is a MUST for any collector coming through Chattanooga. I will hit this store up as often as possible!

They also had some neat activities that are appropriate for older children and early adolescents, so we were able to find stuff for all the kids in our family. They also have gift wrapping service which saved us some trouble and really added value to our visit. The staff are super nice and helpful too.

Of course if you're price sensitive (aren't we all) you can easily go on ebay or Amazon and get a better deal plus free shipping. The advantage I feel with a store such as this is that it's convenient and depending on the age of the child; sometimes you have to let them walk around the store and pick out their own stuff. We were recommended to Shenanigans from a local mom group. It's a huge local toy store with tons of…read moregreat and unique options: Crazy Aaron's Putty, TY, Mary Meyer, a baby sections, craft and activity books and more. The front of the toy shop has a pottery painting area with tons of options to choose from. Mugs, ceramic figures, piggy banks and so much more! Aprons are included and they have paint stations so kids can paint a product of their choice then have the item fired (I think- we haven't done this yet!). The best part is the play area in the back of the store which sells giant outdoor play systems. It's all padded and there's something for all ages. It's $5 a kid to get in-BUT if you spend $10 in the store two kids get in free! It's a no brainer. We go there frequently now and buy a $10-15 item and both kids get in free. There are several large play sets and one huge trampoline. There are no shoes/socks requirements except for the trampoline-no shoes are to be worn on there. The front of the play area has smaller toys and kitchen sets for toddlers and my 1.5 year old has fun just exploring and swinging on the swings too while my 6 year old runs wild. I'd definitely recommend this place. We love shopping small and it's just a huge added bonus that there's a play area. TIP: call ahead to make sure the play area is open as it closes frequently for parties. Also you can bring food and drink but it must be consumed in the partially enclosed party area of tables and chairs located within the play zone.

Rafiq, and I believe his son, whose name I can not recall right now, are the owners. They have great customer service and are very engaging with their customers. The other thing that I thought was a plus plus, especially around this time of the year, is the fact that they have a variety of buying options and a wonderful array of merchandise that is appealing to all children(young and mature). As a matter of fact, they are currently offering a super great financing option with a low as $25 dollars down and a reasonable monthly rate.
