You're going to think I'm exaggerating here but I'm not - neither in Atlanta nor NYC have I been able to find someone as good with hair as Shonda. I first went to Shonda to help maintain my undercut - I have SUPER thick hair and at the time it was to about my mid-back, with the sides shaved. She cleaned everything up and left my long hair nice and manageable. The second time I went back it was for a completely different look. I had decided to grow out the undercut, but needed a cute, short hair cut that I could wear down as the sides went through their awkward phase. Both times, I showed up and briefly explained what I was going for - both times she gave me exactly the cut I wanted and didn't even know how to ask for, and (without ever feeling rushed) she somehow takes almost no time at all to make it happen! I've never had any hair or makeup services from Pat, but I've seen pictures of his work and he's great too. He's fantastic to have in the salon while you're getting something done. Both Shonda and Pat are so incredibly nice and funny. It's really a breath of fresh air that you wouldn't think you could find in Beaufort. Being away from them for about 6 months now is just making me appreciate them more!

I had been on the fence about getting bangs and at Savannah's recommendation. I decided to wait until my next trim to really decide if I wanted to do it. Best decision ever because I think I was just frustrated with new growth and I ended up not actually wanting the bangs so I feel like she can be trusted in getting a good read on what it is that you actually want. The salon itself is very pretty and cozy. It always feels warm and inviting when I go in and I am always greeted as soon as I enter. I would definitely recommend this place and I also recommend Savannah. The only reason why I didn't give all five stars is that parking is a little bit inconvenient, but there is an actual lot besides the street parking so as long as you know that then you will have no problem.

Was able to pick up Bill on short notice and he was able to switch from the 20 to 40 minute option with no issue when I asked. More importantly, he got me exactly what I wanted without me needing to show pictures and having to deal with my infantile articulation and expression of the English language. And most of all, was super funny and conversational the entire time. Can't recommend this place enough for regular or last minute quality haircuts for men. I've gotten quick trims, a beautiful balayage, full hair dyes, and a couple of formal up and down hairstyles for different events. My hair is extremely curly, frizzy and long so these are services not very simple for hair like mine! This past time I visited, I had Rebecca who completed a trim and Brazilian Blowout on my hair. And WOW, amazing service, complimentary beverages of choice, great conversation and amazing results. She even took the time to really let me know how the entire process was going to go, after I'd faced a terrible experience of receiving a Brazilian Blowout at a different salon leaving my hair damaged and hardly changed. I will always go to LimeLite for any services, my hair has always felt and looked great after leaving. Yes, the process is lengthy and the prices are high but that's what you wait and pay for with for wonderful results that are by no means mediocre. A couple of things to note, they cannot accept tips via card, only cash or check. Remember that, because I couldn't tip Rebecca nearly enough for the results and service she provided me with. Another thing is that the process for getting the service done may take longer than estimated on the phone or upfront, because hair responds differently and may take more time. They do not finish here without delivering the best work they can provide. I love LimeLite and after many visits, strongly disagree with many of the low reviews!

I did not wash my hair for three days to make sure the process took but once washed, you could not tell I had a Brazilian blow out. My hair was super frizzy and not stick straight like the one I received in Dallas. Danielle said that depending on how straight I wanted it she would increase the tension during the process. Despite requesting that it be stick straight it came out wavy. Also, during my appointment I was not offered a beverage.
