My hair was really a terrible color when I had my first appointment with Amy. Someone had done a solid permanent brownish red color that left a drastic line when it grew out. Amy gave me the option of either an all over color or she could do highlights and lowlights to blend the colors. I opted for the latter, and it was so much better and just got better with each appointment. The salon is very relaxing, and they use Moroccan Oil products which I love. The best thing is that I don't have to do much with my hair, it seems to fall into place after shampooing. read more

Not the same. My husband came in for a cut and had to trim a tuff of hair that was left on his neck. I had a good experience before and thought it was just an off day for the stylist, but was underwhelmed when I usually I walk out loving it. The attention to detail was gone. Really sad. I'm a bit disgusted with the email they sent out prior to the appointment. They listed the measures they plan to take to keep clients/staff safe and didn't follow through. My temperature was not checked. Myself and my stylist wore a mask while another stylist and her client did not. It is not a requirement in SC, so why list it as a requirement if it's not going to be enforced. It's deceitful. Never going back. read more

Ashley does a wonderful job at cutting hair. Very friendly and fast! I'd recommend her to anyone!

Was visiting from out of town for the holiday weekend and felt inclined to get my hair done. I was easily able to book an appointment online through their website with Ashley for all over color. She was very sweet and attentive and funny to talk to and I felt I was in capable hands. My hair turned out great and both my husband and mother in law complimented the color and style. I'd highly recommend this salon and Ashley. read more

Ashley is a gem, the queen of great color and curly hair! I walked in with a super vague request of "...subtle, like I got some sun, but not too much..." Despite those shaky instructions she confidently turned the dream into reality and I couldn't be happier with the results! She lightened me up perfectly in a way that doesn't scream, "Look, I've had my hair done." Ashley has a great personality and is skilled at cutting curls. Very satisfied. read more

I have been going to this hairdresser for several years. Following my last appointment, I was unable to schedule my next appointment because she was so backed up with appointments. I was told that someone would call me with a cancellation. Two weeks passed without a call so I stopped by the salon as I was passing by on an errand. The next morning, I received a call with an appointment date but even then, it was four weeks away. My scheduled appointment was for Tuesday morning November 28th and at 2 p.m. the day before the appointment, the owner, Jennifer, (my hairdresser) called to tell me that (after many years) "I was not a good fit and we need to part ways". Very unprofessional. This is the bratty behavior of a prima donna extraordinaire, not a reasonable business person. read more

Daniel along with her staff was very patient and kind towards my daughter (that was having a bad day)her "A cut" turned out perfect ...we'll be back read more

Got my eyebrows done by Ashley. She did amazing. I had her put a slit in my eyebrow, which she's never done before, but took in stride with confidence and enthusiasm; and she did WONDERFULLY. I get heavy anxiety in salons and everyone there made me feel welcomed and comfortable. 10/5 would recommend to anyone. read more

Initially, My experience here was good. I had full color, highlights, and a cut that was about $200. A lot of money, but worth it if it's done right. Upon returning home, however, my opinion of the services here took a dive. My usual styling process did not produce good results. My bangs which were pretty much perfect, were now something I couldn't manage. My simple blow dry routine had to include a flat iron now to get my usual results. The color turned out blah. I wanted something super rich with copper highlights. No one in my immediate circle even noticed my new hair color, which they always do. It was just so disappointing in the end. Won't return. read more

I have gone to this salon since it opened. I have always been thrilled with the service. I go to Amy who is the best stylist I've ever known. She is far better than the stylists I went to at the high end salons in Chicago. She does a great job with color and her cuts are second to none. Somehow, her cuts hold their shape longer than most cuts I've had. They carry Moroccan Oil products which I appreciate. This is a great salon that I highly recommend! read more

As an over all salon, not bad at all all. I would recommend the salon but not Ashley. Ashley is a horrible hair stylist. Her work is okay but her customer service is horrible. She does extensions so back in the beginning of the year, i booked a consultation with her and she was phenomenal but after I told her I wanted to hold off on the extensions she became horrible. I texted her trying to get an appointment and it took her 2 days to get back to me the first time. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she has children and what not so I tried to go with the flow. She finally responded after more than 2 days and we booked and appointment. The day of the appointment I was on time but she wasn't ready for me. I'm okay to wait a little bit and then I tried to make conversation with her and she's not friendly AT ALL! Decided to stay silent the whole time. She texted me and asked me about the extensions again and I said I wanted to hold off again. She said great. I just tried to text her A DAY AGO to see if I could do a color and she still hasn't gotten back to me. I decided to block her and cut my loses with this salon. Again, overall as a salon would recommend; Ashley as a hairstylist would not. She's not good enough for the headache. read more

This is a wonderful salon, bright and airy and full of talent. Ashley is one of their stars: she works magic with her highlighting, coloring, and styling skills. When I first arrived in Beaufort, I bounced around from salon to salon looking for the 'right fit'. But once I tried Salon 705 and discovered Ashley, I knew I had found MY salon. --Sue D read more

This Salon is absolutely the best in the Beaufort/Jasper Counties! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without even thinking. I have been coming here for years, and then when at some point, I've changed my jobs and couldn't come... oh ah..it was a struggle for my hair and me. Now, after I was able to come back, I will never leave! I am blessed to have such a talented and caring colorist/stylist in my life. Every time I leave the salon, I feel beautiful and get constant compliments for my hair. Before I was told I couldn't even be blonde without burning my hair off cause naturally, I do have pretty dark hair. Well according to my healthy, beautiful, and very long blonde hair presently, the other hair dressers were incorrect. I mainly see Jen, who is genuine, caring, professional, and extremely talented stylist/colorist who listens to my every wish. Now I trust her completely. I come in, seat in her chair, and say "make me beautiful" and she replies "well that is easy! you are already beautiful!" So when I leave I feel like a 10 karate diamond ring! I also had appointments with other stylists of the salon, and they are all are extremely talented. I would definitely recommend Jen, Amy, and Ashley. What a great team that this salon has! I am very proud to be the salon's client! read more

I went to see Autumn for a manicure and pedicure today. She was absolutely amazing! She was very sweet and knowledgeable. She helped me pick the perfect colors. I received a great massage and flawless polish! I highly recommend her! read more

It took a while* ( since 2015!), but I finally found a good stylist here- Danielle. She can do thick hair and layers. You'd be surprised how many stylists can't! I know a couple of women of slight means in Beaufort who go all the way to Hilton Head and/or Charleston to get their hair cut because of the paucity of good beauticians here. :( Btw Lime Lite is across the street and JUST too expensive imo. read more

It was okay, I think I'll have to be much more specific with exactly what I want next time...

wow!!! I needed a new stylist. i had a bad experience with someone from a different salon.I was a walk-in to salon 705 and was connected with Danielle. her first day there and she was accepting new clients. I was impressed with the top notch consultation before she started. really listened to me and examined my hair. I automatically was comfortable with her and our plan. the shampoo was dreamy with scalp massage. the cut, dry, and style was very relaxing. her work was impeccable and her attention to detail is appreciated. I left a very happy girl. THANKS to Danielle. read more

I am so in love with this salon! My hair stylist Ashley Partridge is amazing and has been who I have been looking for to work on this curly hair of mine! There are always so many hair stylists that say they "know" curly hair. She actually does. I am so happy I found her and won't go to anyone else! She's the complete package for me and my hair! :) read more

Danielle has been doing my hair and my Husband's hair for quite a while now and we love her! She does a fantastic job and is friendly and professional. All my friends always love my hair and give me compliments all the time. I highly recommend Danielle and Salon 705! read more

Received a very poor cut and color from Ashley. Spent a lot of money on very low quality work. Very rushed and sloppy. Will not be back.

I recently retired and moved here from Atlanta. Had the same hairdresser for 20 years. Scary stuff to change. Wow what a wonderful experience. Friendly staff and Amy did my color/cut better than I have had in years. Feel like a new look has made me look younger. I highly recommend this Salon in Beaufort SC. read more

My 1st 2 appointments with Amy were just okay, but had to trim it myself, in some areas, within the 1st week after the appointment, not a good sign. The 3rd cut & color was with Ashley after reading her great reviews. This was the worst cut of all & my girlfriends agreed. She told me to let her know if anything needed adjusting & I did contact her asking for her to tweak some areas. She offered a day that I told her I could not come in, then never had the courtesy to respond again. Even my hair color was subpar. Less that 2 weeks after getting color, the roots need to be touched up due to 1/4 inch of gray showing. I had another salon fix the mess & the stylist was appalled at the unevenness of the cut & was able to make the bad cut somewhat better. It has to grow out. Would never go back nor recommend this salon. read more

This place is awesome. First time there because I am new to the area. Finding a stylist you trust is hard but not here. Ashley, sweet girl and she knew exactly what I wanted even when I didn't. Very friendly and welcoming. Even the other customers were friendly. Definitely my new go to place!! Thanks Ashley read more
