    Crab Cake Sandwich

The Chatham Bars Inn is such a beautiful hotel with a few different restaurants. There's free valet parking. The staff provides a high level of service here. The Sacred Cod has a large menu with relatively reasonable prices. The Parker House Rolls came with truffle butter that gives a savory flavor profile. The crab cake sandwich is a really neat idea that comes with a nice aioli and brioche bun. The house fries are great too! Overall an excellent dining experience.

Absolutely amazing experience at The Sacred Cod! I just moved to Chatham and brought my aunt and cousin here for dinner--what a great choice. The food was phenomenal, and the service was just as impressive. Our server, Marlon, was fantastic--super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made the whole experience feel extra special with his warm smile and attentiveness. To top it off, Chef Alex personally brought out our meals! Such a memorable touch. We loved it so much, we came back the next day just for drinks--and we're glad we did! Bartender Larry was incredible. Every drink was perfectly crafted and his energy really made the night. Definitely our new favorite spot. Can't wait to come back!

Tried to stop in for a quick bite but service was super slow. Grabbed a pizza which was decent. Was expensive for what it was - but to be expected here. Not sure if I'd return.

    Lamb Gnocchi

The ambiance of this restaurant was rather classy and organized. The service was amazing, as our server was very kind-hearted and attentive. From the menu, we started off with the clam chowder and crispy Brussel sprouts for starters. They were both amazing. The clam chowder wasn't too floury nor was it too thin. The flavor was balanced and flavorful. The Brussel sprouts were cooked wonderfully, as they were soft and crispy but not mushy, which were also complimented with some gochujang aioli and some balsamic-like sauce, which elevated these veggies. For entrees, I ordered the Lamb Gnocchi. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the gnocchi had a slight cheddar taste and was relatively mushy, and the sauce was slightly gamey but very flavorful. I would advise those who are not fans of lamb or soft-ish pasta to order this, but otherwise, it was a very unique and tasty dish. I also tried their short rib which was also tender but a tad bit dry. The fish and chips were also rather good, with a tempura-style exterior and soft/flaky fish interior. The fries were also alright, nothing to complain about. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance were highly satisfactory, and I recommend people to try this place out!

Went to Sacred Cod the other night for a light meal and drinks. Big thumbs up for the lobster tacos! They were delicious!!!

Pickle Jar and Lobster Corn Dogs (which have lobster, clam, and scallop in them)

This was our absolute favorite restaurant on our most recent trip to Cape Cod! We had checked out the menu online and were intrigued by the lobster corn dogs and decided we must have a try! Sure glad we did! Fancy dining atmosphere yet laid-back and friendly staff. Our server Vanya was so nice and helpful with the menu--she really new every food item so well! We decided to order and share a bunch of small items because everything looked so good! We started with the Pickle Jar and Lobster Corn Dogs. The pickle jar contained all sorts of pickled items such as tomatoes, beans, garlic, and I think maybe even a few pickles. :) It was such a delicacy and we enjoyed it very much. The lobster rolls were truly culinarily-life-changing! We weren't sure what to expect from the blend of lobster, clam, and scallop as far as consistency inside the corn dog, but it was amazing! The outside was just what you'd expect from a corn dog, only to be filled with seafoody goodness! We moved onto the New England Clam Chowder and Lobster Tacos, also exquisite. Although I prefer Manhattan Clam Chowder, this NE Chowder was excellent! We had a warm buttered lobster roll with a side salad (complete with watermelon radish!) which was kind of the kitchen because they really only had the cold lobster roll (mayo-based) on the menu. So amazingly good and worth every penny! We also got another order of the lobster corn dogs because they were so amazing! Equally good the second time around! While we don't frequent Cape Cod that often, we will definitely make Sacred Cod a priority stop next time we are in the area! We have already told so many others about this place because of their great ambiance, friendly service, and especially their unique menu offerings!

By far our favorite restaurant within the Chatham Bars Inn. It has a tavern with limited seating and a small adjoining dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed their Clam Chowder, cold beer and daily bread variety - delish! The highlights for us were the wonderful, local Wellfleet oysters on the half served with a mignonette sauce, horseradish and cocktail sauce. The best we've had since arriving! The Lobster tail, @market price, was also another home run! Service was efficient and very friendly. The warm wood paneling gives it a handsome tavern atmosphere where you'll want to linger and take in a sporting event on their flat screen t.v. Cheers! We'll return!

    Sacred lobster roll

My sister and I got the brussel sprouts, New England clam chowder, Sacred lobster roll, and fried green tomato, plus a mai tai and non-alcoholic pina colada - TASTE: 4/5 - the brussel sprouts were so good, thanks to the soy ginger glaze, and we enjoyed the clam chowder, chives, and bacon too. My lobster roll was awesome w the fresh lobster, house dressing, lemon aioli, and buttered brioche bun! TEXTURE: 5/5 - the clam chowder was thicker than expected, which made it all the more comforting and a nice contrast to the focaccia crisp and chunks of bacon. The lobster filling was refreshing, and complemented by the thick-cut fries PRICE: 4/5 - not bad for being the more casual dining option at Chatham Bars Inn. The $50 lobster roll was steep, but worth it because... SERVING SIZE: 5/5 - everything was bigger than we thought! The brussel sprouts were plentiful, the lobster roll was loaded and overflowing, and the fried green tomato sandwich, which we didn't know was gonna be a sandwich lol, was huge too SERVICE: 3/5 - we walked in before 4:30pm on a Saturday and the space was half full. Ordered from the lunch menu, as dinner started at 5pm, and our waitress was helpful in recommending a drink for me. There seemed to be a delay between receiving our apps and waiting for the entrees; we were getting nervous that our order was forgotten, but our entrees did finally come after 35min ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - again, the more informal dinner spot compared to Stars, but still an elevated feel w large leather chairs in the tavern space. There's a bar/lounge section off of the dining room area too PARKING: 5/5 - we stayed at CBI that night, so we parked in the lot by our Beach House cottage and walked across the street to the Main Inn

The aftermath- oops didn't take a photo before!! My husband got the wagyu raga, I got the flatbread and we shared the bread in the middle!

I don't understand how the reviews aren't all 5 stars. We had the BEST dinner here! We started with the lobster taco & the pork belly and both of them were to die for. We also got the breaking bread, and it was delicious - a pumpernickel bread with onions embedded, topped with sour cream and swiss- and then all baked together. It was so, so good. For our mains, I got the flatbread of the day and it was an eggplant and tomato sauce topped with mozzarella, linguica, and a mixed greens kale tossed with pesto (from their own greenhouse)! It filled me up SO fast. My husband got the wagyu ragu and he loved it! Service was a little slow but we didn't mind, it was a relaxing dinner! And we left so full and satisfied! (Forgot to take a picture before so I'm posting the aftermath!)

Patricia, our waitress, was so incredibly nice and attentive. It makes such a difference when restaurants hire superstars. The person can easily make or break someone's experience and she was the perfect example of a gold star hospitality team member. Apart from the service, our cheesecake was wonderful and drinks perfect. We had a great experience here and I highly recommend!

    Citrus Cheesecake Dessert - Amazing!

We visited here during the holidays; the hotel is decorated quite beautifully complete with a gingerbread house of the property...so cool. The only open dining place was The Sacred Cod and because we arrived on the early side (around 3 p.m) we were seated almost immediately during their lunch service. The menu is small, but everyone found something they would enjoy. My crab cake was almost completely crab...not a lot of breading and really quite tasty. Everyone else seemed pleased with their meals, but truly the pièce de résistance was the dessert menu....my goodness! My husband ordered the Caramel Brownie Sundae which was embellished deliciously with caramel popcorn. The brownie was incredibly moist and dense...perfectly made. I ordered this delicious pistachio cheesecake delight which I cannot even find on their menu now! It was really outstanding and beautifully presented. Despite the atmosphere, the servers are pretty chill and we felt most welcome even though we were not wearing any cashmere...lol. We splurged on this meal, but truly, it was well worth it and made for a very memorable visit.

Loved this spot for drinks! First off, the interior is so nice - leather chairs and couches everywhere, and very nautical. The drinks were absolutely delicious, especially the Cape Rose Sangria (so refreshing and unique!) and the espresso martini (almost takes like mocha, such a good recipe). The oysters and fingerling potatoes (amazing sauces!) were also fantastic, and our waitress was so sweet! One of my favorites from this weekend.

    Tuna crude! The best!!

The chef is brilliant! I'm from NYC and I can't remember when I had had such a delicious dinner in NYC. The presentation of each dish was perfect. For the starter we had oysters and yellowfin tuna. Tuna has already made my dinner. Very sophisticated taste. After I had seared native scallops - highly recommended!!!! My friend had The yankee pot roast! The best potato purée. The meet had a rich flavor and texture. Photos bellow. I wish we had this chef in NYC look forward to coming back and eat more!

We started on the bar side, which was extremely busy and we couldn't find a seat for about 30 minutes. The only downside is that seating is first come, first serve, so you end up hovering around tables waiting for people to leave, which wasn't ideal. We eventually got frustrated and went next door. Even though they're separate, the bar and restaurant are connected, so you can easily walk between the two. We ended up having an amazing meal at the restaurant side, so it was definitely worth switching over. I highly recommend the lobster roll. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of the experience on the bar side.

I was super excited to try this place, but was honestly a bit disappointed with how it turned out…read more For starters, it was extremely loud, and it was pretty hard to hear the people I was sitting with. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty and tiny. And finally, the my food wasn't great. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap, and was super disappointed. The wrap was too wet, the chicken had no seasoning and was ice cold, and the lettuce was extremely moist and slimy. It just didn't taste fresh. Also very little Caesar dressing. The only good thing in my meal were the fries and the pickle. I will say, however, the service was pretty good. Our waitress was super nice and got our food out quickly despite it being packed. They also had a bingo game going which was cool. I would come here for fries and drinks, but not really for the food.
