She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

I've had to repeatedly chase the team for basic updates with no follow through. Throughout the entire process, I do not believe the team followed up with me directly, I have had to chase every single update since signing the contract. The original system design I agreed to did not fit my roof (despite them measuring on-site before I approved the quote), during install many roof tiles were damaged and replaced with used (very dirty moss covered tiles). Hopefully I have a functioning system sometime soon, but I have been extremely disappointed so far.

It's 4 year in a row now the system failed to produce the minimum guaranteed production. AWS Solar chose to compensate for the shortfall again; we'll see what the 5th year production looks like. I suggested replacing some of the panels with the higher power ones to solve the issue, but I guess they want to see more data.

They were always available to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with our electricians whenever something came up. Because they knew our system inside and out, they were able to jump in quickly and help keep the project on track. Having that history with our home made a huge difference, and their professionalism and responsiveness took a lot of stress out of what was otherwise a complicated project -- all without having to break the bank. They are extremely fair with their pricing. It's one thing to do a good installation, but it's another to still be supporting your customers more than a decade later. When one of the (many) things our home inspection revealed was that we were in dire need of a new roof, that sealed the deal. And since we like to support local businesses whenever we can, after a little research we landed on BYLTup. Honestly, we can't say enough good things about the whole BYLTup team, or about Dominik in particular. I'm not even sure where to start. For one thing, from start to finish we had to communicate long distance by Zoom, FaceTime, and text because we hadn't moved yet. Nonetheless, we had absolutely no qualms about our project being in good hands because having met Dominik first on Zoom and then IRL when we were out there for a couple of weeks, we knew we could trust him 100%. I mean, the guy knows his stuff, is clearly all about the details, and he's one of those people you sort of feel like you've known forever after just a few minutes. Seriously. He couldn't be more personable or considerate. Just good people. But about our project: It was no small task. Our house is a 1912 Craftsman that--believe it or not--still had the original roof, with various layers that had been added piecemeal over the years as needed. We got a beautiful new roof and a fully permitted 11.51 Kw solar system that'll generate 14,780kWh in year one, all within about 2 weeks once construction started, and the team was so clean you'd never even know they were there. Actually, I take that back: one day when there was considerable dust, soot and debris --which, unfortunately landed in out neighbor's yard after they'd just washed their windows and their car, Dominik went over personally to apologize and offered to take care of any necessary re-cleaning. He totally smoothed out the understandably ruffled feathers. And when our project was done, our place was totally clean. I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar…read more I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. In a business of fraught with fly by night companies, Infinity Solar is a true gem. Solar done right with integrity, highest expertise, and exceptional, prompt service when called on. UPDATE: Sadly, changing my original 5-star review to 1 star…read more I'm really disappointed to have to update my original review. When we purchased our solar system from Infinity Solar in 2017, the installation process was great, and we genuinely felt they went above and beyond. We were extremely pleased with our experience and had no hesitation recommending them. Unfortunately, fast-forward several years, and our experience has been completely different. Recently, one of our inverters stopped working. Given that our contract includes a 25-year warranty covering workmanship, labor, and certain equipment, we naturally reached out to Infinity Solar expecting them to stand behind their warranty. Instead, we were told we would have to pay $550 just for someone to come out and assess the problem, followed by additional hourly labor charges for however long the repair would take. When we questioned why we were being charged these fees despite our warranty, the owner, Tim, explained that we lived too far away, that the business wasn't doing well financially, and that it essentially wasn't worth it for him to send someone out. He even mentioned that they were considering closing the business altogether. Needless to say, we were shocked and extremely disappointed by this response. We trusted this company with a significant investment, in part because of the extensive warranties they offered. To now be told that servicing our system isn't worthwhile to them because of their financial situation and our location is incredibly frustrating. Ultimately, we hired another company that came out and repaired our inverter for just $300--less than what Infinity wanted to charge simply to diagnose the problem. It's unfortunate because our initial experience was genuinely positive. However, a company's true commitment to its customers isn't just demonstrated during the sale and installation, but in how it stands behind its products and warranties years later. A 25-year warranty means very little if the company is unwilling to honor it when you actually need service. I sincerely hope Infinity Solar reconsiders how it treats its existing customers. Based on our recent experience, I can no longer recommend them, particularly to anyone placing value on their long-term warranty promises.

He gave me a quote and told me to let him know after my husband and I discussed it. The quote he gave was good given the amount of work he would need to do. Once I let him know we were fine with the quote, he set a day to come do the work. His employees came and were very careful not to make a mess. They installed the ceiling fan and outlets without having to make holes in the walls like they originally thought they would. Spencer from DLS Development gave a great pitch, plus the quote was one of the lowest we received from almost all roofing companies. They reached out over a month later to check in and offer an additional discount. Pros: The workers did an excellent job and worked from nearly sunup to sundown. They had a few questions, which I could answer (or get my husband to answer) when I was around. It took about 4 days for them to tear off the old shingles and install the new ones. And it was hot out there! They did the work quickly, professionally, and efficiently! One of the crew members performed a walk-through with my husband once they finished, and my husband was very pleased with the finished product. I feel very grateful looking at my roof now, since the old one was very old. Cons Once we signed the contract and paid the initial deposit, we were told that the permit for our house needed to be pulled and that it would take about a week. Almost two weeks later, I asked the project manager if she had pulled the permit and when the project could begin. She then let me know the roofers would begin the following week. I guess I hoped that the project manager would have reached out to me first to let me know that the permit situation was complete and that they would begin the roofing process. You need to take initiative and find out what's happening, since I've never had a roof replaced before. Next, the project manager informed us they discovered and replaced rotted wood. The project manager sent us a change order for the additional amount, yet the contract did not list any extra charge for rotted wood. Additionally, they had already replaced the "rotted wood" before we signed anything, and they had no clear photos showing any rotted wood. It took a lot of emails and texts back and forth before we reached a resolution we were happy with. Still, it was a headache and frustrating for several days; we had to deal with uncertainty and explanations. Finally, the project manager never confirmed when the inspector for the last inspection would actually come to our house to collect my signature on a form. We didn't know whether we needed to be at home, leave the document out somewhere, or when the process would officially end. I received an email from the project manager asking me to reply and attach the form with my signature, as the inspector had come around but could not collect it because I was not there. I replied to the email with the form and asked the project manager if I needed to do anything else. Only when I reached out again to the general DLS development general email was I told what day the inspector would come around again to collect the form. We're thrilled with the roof and the quality of work, but it would've been less of a headache to have a lot of this information up front without having to keep asking, since I'm unfamiliar with the roof process. I also had to email the general DLS development email, as the project manager was not responding to some questions and concerns as quickly as I would've liked. I know she probably had a million things going on, but it felt like I got a response much quicker once I emailed through the general company email. This was not a cheap project, and I feel like this company lacks clear communication, but their workers and work are absolutely outstanding.
