Each of us were asked to bring something from our hometown, so I brought "Coffee Bill", since William McKinley is such a big part of Canton's history. For the conference, we stayed at a historic hotel that was beautiful, but it had terrible coffee. Enter Cherry Blend. Every single one of them thanked me for bringing this coffee, because all of us brewed that in our rooms, instead of what the hotel provided. I am going to use their coffee in my small business and we came up with some cool ideas about how to do so. Undoubtedly this is one of the most knowledgeable couples you will ever meet when it comes to coffee. We had such an interesting dialogue about the sourcing, roasting, and marketing of coffee. Located close to the location of a large meeting I was part of, I was easily able to pick up 2 dozen donuts on the morning of my meeting. The extremely nice woman behind the counter hooked me up with two boxes of assorted heaven. As an avid donut eater and a bit of a connoisseur of mans most delightful creation, DDandC nailed it. Fresh, good ingredients and a lot to choose from. The two dozen doughnuts that I brought in to my meeting were essentially demolished. As I was not local, the people who were local were extremely interested in knowing where I picked them up and I happily told them. A few had even mentioned being there before and some even planning to go. would I go back? 100%. Whenever possible, I bring a box or two of doughnuts to customers. When I do, I make it count and the people notice. When they see that I've actually searched out for a really good local doughnut shop, they appreciate that and take note. I'm not bringing in your fast-food donut places garbage "donuts" either. I'd rather bring nothing at all if I can't get the goods. They offer coffee (K-cups of many varieties) and snacks (packaged as well as home made). The reason the coffee and brownie you are scarfing down taste so delicious is because part of the money you just paid is being put back into this amazing program. You get coffee and they get more independence and life experience. What is better than enjoying your morning cup of coffee?
