The food here was fine and the service good enough. However they have non complementary valet for lunch when they have a large parking lot. When I went for lunch with coworkers the place was almost empty, which made you raise an eye brow at why they charge for valet. They did mentioned they had free parking at a garage blocks away, but who wants to do that in the rain or Houston heat? I would recommend them change their valet policy to charge on days of busy traffic only or they will scare lunch clients off. The venue seems like a fun place to listen to live music though. I brought my family visiting from FL here and they absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was fantastic, there was tons of seating, and it was nice to have that semi-open space feel during COVID with fresh air blowing through, but still not feel like you are sitting outside in the cold. This is my fav new spot in H-town right now. It's a huge open air, indoor/outdoor bar with live music nightly that has a vibe that Houston has been missing. It's been a bit cold since the place opened and I am curious on how the temperature will be in the summer time. The food is GOOD. Real good. The frozen drinks are GREAT. The bartenders and staff are always friendly and on it. I've been 3 times and have had a good experience on each occasion. Visiting Houston from Phoenix, AZ- def a GREAT downtown vibe with a melting pot of people inside- it felt very inclusive and diverse! LOVED IT! Came here after running the Houston Marathon as it was walking distance from the hotel. This place is huge! Got seated at a nice booth. They had a brunch menu but I opted for the burger of course. It was cooked to perfection with brisket on top. The bread was sweet & soft. It was the perfect post race food! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the service. Gorgeous building! Great location! But that's where it stops. They only have valet parking for $30 otherwise you have to park on the street. The food was just ok, a little bit too fancy for the location and theme. I've been to this location in three occasions, I went for my birthday dinner with a few girlfriends, for a few drinks with my husband and a lunch date with a girlfriend for her birthday. The food was great every time, it didn't disappoint. The drinks were good too! It's a little on the pricey side but the atmosphere is awesome. I love how it's open to the outside. I wish they would have more variety in music and maybe do different genres on different nights etc. I would definitely go back and have recommended to many. Very nice place with an excellent concept. Listen to live music and enjoy a great meal. I ordered the veggie burger. Fantastic. There are other items on the menu I would like to try. Service was ok, I think they need better training or allow their waitstaff to focus on fewer tables. My condiments order was forgotten and three different sets of fries were brought out when we requested them instead of chips (we were not given an option upon ordering). One waiter told us he was comping a drink for us, which we did not order. So that was weird. Other than that, I'll come back again, perhaps on a week day when it is not so crowded. I used to go to The Rustic when I lived in Dallas. The new location in downtown Houston is bigger than the original and the food is very similar. Service is great and it's always packed on the weekends. This bar will be become the new place to be downtown, especially since there isn't much competition. The food is so so, and the service is terrible, they come up and say they will have 3 servers helping you, then they disappear. Last minute surprise date from my beautiful wife. Couldn't have been better. Our server Terry was great! The gentleman jack margarita was superb, the tamales appetizer paired perfectly with it. We had the carnitas and chicken tacos, wow..... Far from the usual TexMex Houston entrees. Fresh handmade corn tortillas, cilantro, fresh onion, house made chile de arbol sauce. We will be back soon. It made my heart so happy to know that a little piece of Dallas is now in Houston. This was my all time favorite bar when I lived in Dallas. Great drinks, amazing food, and awesome live music! We came for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded and the live band was great! I had the burger and you literally can't go wrong with that. I really want to like this place but the service has been really bad a very time we have come. Took 15 min to get our drink order in...10 min to get drinks and no one ever took our food order. I've seen it many times and always wanted to try it. I went in on a Sunday and tried their brunch with a friend and our spouses. You can only order off of the brunch menu and you can add on extra sides if you want. There's one of each item in your platter. If multiple order the brunch platter then they bring it in one big platter and everyone takes from there. The service and food were average. I would go again for brunch if I was invited by a friend, but not on my own. Maybe another day when there's no brunch. read more

We didn't see our waitress most of the hour and a half we were there, only the people running food out for us. None of the servers seemed happy, had scowls on their faces and everything took forever to come out.
