Our server Raul was awesome. The diner is a very quaint. No frills just a cute spot. But enough about that. The food!!! The food was so good I didn't get any pictures. I just couldn't stop eating to take pics. We got biscuits and gravy, a short stack and home fries. Everything was perfect I'm so glad we tried this spot out!

Food is on point every single time. Eggs and bacon are always cooked the way I ask for. Can get a great 3 egg breakfast with pancakes, hash browns, and bacon for $8.50. Wait staff are all very friendly.

Visiting Naples, had gone to Skillets a few times for breakfast, but wanted something new. Checked on Yelp for other "breakfast" places and found the R's Diner and decided to check it out. In a strip mall with a few other stores, the R's Diner is inconspictious place. Walked in a greeted with a friendly "Hello" we sat down a perused the typically large diner menu. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and potatoes and salsa. Out came a large yummy stuffed breakfast burrito with wonderful flavors and spices. Also the pancakes were large and fluffy and the bacon crispy. Fabulous breakfast. When I go back next time, I want to check out the Ice Cream store next to the R's Diner, and try the advertised "Corn on the Cob"

Pigs in a blanket gravy.

Not bad. Food was pretty good. Service was fast. I got the waffle. It was dense and doughy, not a lot of crunch, but it tasted good.

Google knew it though and the diner showed up when I asked for 'restaurants near me'. This diner is right off Tamiami Trail, a place where many good restaurants are located. Since we got there early, dining was set up for outside, but the great spring weather makes eating outdoors a fun experience. After entering the restaurant, we ordered our food and sat down. There wasn't a long wait for lunch, we got fed quickly and everything was good. The menu is the same as the restaurant at Founders Square, with salads, bowls, a good variety of handhelds, kids options and lots of sides. They even have rotisserie chicken, prime rib and miso salmon, for when you want a little extra. The Parque Del Lago taco salad and California panini looked interesting, but hubs went with the grilled Mahi sandwich and I decided on the classic burger. We both got an order of those addictive sweet potato fries! Service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and welcoming and we'll definitely be back for another lunch in the future.

We sat outside on the patio which was nicely decorated and had plenty of shade from the Florida sun. Our waitress (Abigail) was friendly and inviting. She was also well informed about everything on the menu which could be made gluten free to accommodate my wife's celiac. Speaking of gluten free, they have a gluten free biscuit which is so good we bought some to take home with us. She was so thoughtful, she gave us a bag of ice to keep the uncooked biscuits cool on our drive!! If you're in the area, this is worth the stop!!

Absolutely worth the drive…read more The Rooster hot and crunchy grouper delivered an explosion of flavor--perfectly crisp on the outside with a fresh, flaky bite inside. Every element worked together, and the balance of heat and crunch kept you going back for more. This is one of those dishes you don't forget--I'd easily drive an hour just to have it again. The chicken and waffles didn't miss either. The chicken was unbelievably crunchy with a golden, well-seasoned crust, and stayed juicy inside. My mom couldn't stop talking about it the entire meal--that kind of reaction says everything. On top of the food, it's a cute, chic spot with excellent service. Jenna was especially accommodating and made sure my elderly mom and friend were comfortable, which really stood out. If you're looking for bold flavor, texture done right, and something that actually stands out, this place delivers.

-- A Rooftop Gem Where You Feel Like Family…read more I'll be upfront -- I have social anxiety, and crowds can be genuinely overwhelming for me. My first evening up at Tigress's rooftop, I walked into a packed house with no reservation, and it was simply too much. Rather than give up, I called the restaurant shortly before close and asked about reserving a table for the following night. Just one person. What happened next genuinely surprised me. They were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me without hesitation, they reserved me a spot in the bar area and had it ready the moment I arrived. The second I stepped off that elevator, I was greeted by name, welcomed warmly, and made to feel like I belonged there. It wasn't a restaurant experience -- it was a Cheers experience. You know the show. That's exactly what it felt like. Service was prompt and attentive from the start. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. Sincere applause to the entire staff for their grace and kindness. A standing ovation to the chef on duty that evening, and deep gratitude to the executive chef who curated this menu. And special recognition to the bar team -- their craft cocktails are clearly designed to complement the food beautifully. I will absolutely be back. Tigress has earned a loyal guest.

Our server was very nice and conversational, however, I think she might have a habit for forgetting to do something unless she does it right away. Before finishing explaining the sauces with the shrimp crudite, we asked a question and she immediately went to go grab another dip and didn't finish explaining the sauces. I was disappointed in the bananas foster waffles. it said there was banana caramel, and then as a separate item, it said peanut butter maple. I asked probably 2 or 3 different times where the peanut butter maple was as i had gotten my toppings on the side after seeing an order that was drenched go past my table. the first answer i received was that it was the sauce i had in front of me. it was not. it was the caramel. the next time i asked, i was told that the peanut butter and caramel are the same sauce. again, no peanut butter flavor in the sauce. the peanut butter was the thing i was looking forward to the most on the waffle, and by the time she offered to just bring me peanut butter i was almost done with it. i will say that it is a very dense waffle and difficult to cut. i'm not sure if it is supposed to be this way, but i had to use some force to cut into what i thought was going to be a fluffy waffle. we had empty water glasses on our table for quite some time with multiple people passing before being refilled. it wasn't until more people cleared out that we were able to get more water. the cinnamon roll thing: a very nice gesture from the restaurant for birthdays. the cinnamon toast crunch on the outside was nice and crunchy, the caramel gelato between layers was smooth, but the roll itself is a different story. like the waffle, it was dense. not sure if that's because it's served cold but we will chalk it up to that, but the cream cheese frosting has chili and paprika in it! so while we were eating it, all of our throats starting to have a spicy burny feeling in the back. imagine red hots candy for flavor profile. we didn't find out until asking that it has the extra spice in it. just something to note, it might need to be added to server explanation that there is the added spicy element, as there are a lot of people who do not enjoy spicy foods. I stand by my previous reviews that Tigress is strictly a drinks and app place.
