It was a Friday night and the restaurant was about half full. As we entered, the first thing I noticed was the pleasant decor. It wasn't at all, in your face flashy, it was very reserved. Probably trying to be all things to all people, which can be a hard balancing act. Very friendly staff. Very professional. The menu seemed very consistent with most of the other indian restaurants that I go to. I always keep an eye out for something unusual or unique, but not this time. The food itself was amazing. To me it tasted very fresh. It had slightly different spices than I'm used to. I also noticed that the menu was very slightly cheaper than what I'm used to paying which was a bonus really. I'll definitely return one day and will be sure to recommend to friends.

BTW I did let the restaurant know about the first disk, but thought I would give them a 2nd go and I'm glad I did. The Chicken Dansak was I would say almost perfect, succulent Chicken, just the right amount of sweet/sourness and tasty fresh ingredients. It redeemed itself after the first takeaway. Recommended!

It's fairly new to Enfield, and before this, our local curry was the Poppadum. Well, we came here, and it is now the top of our list! One thing I like about it is beef curry! It's not something you can get very often in curry houses, but they do an excellent job with it! Their lamb shank is also very tasty. I usually order onion bhajis because they are crisp and delicious, but most of the starters here are great! They will often suggest things that they think you might like or that aren't on the menu, like when I took my parents here for their first ever Indian experience. (They loved it.) If you're looking for curry in Enfield, it really is the place to go!

I've been raving about the place for a while so when I saw an award on the wall saying chef of the year I was pleased but not surprised. The struggle each time is whether to try another new sounding original creation from the chef or one of my old favourites. The South Indian garlic chilli chicken is so good that it's a challenge to have something else. The thing that surprises me is how it isn't full every night. That's the only downfall, occasionally the lack of people can make a bit of a lack of atmosphere. But the lovely guys do make up for it. One night the chef even made a special fish to recreate something one of the party had enjoyed in India. Oh and as a parting shot, the naan bread is the best ever!
