Then I found Physical Fusion!! They have a good space and you can come and train in their weights section or you can take their classes. They have HIIT classes, boxing, suspension training, women's weight lifting and real world self defense classes. Todd teaches the women's weight lifting and is very positive and will help you not only correct your form but explain to you why that correction will help prevent injury. Alisyn teaches suspension training and boxing and she always keeps the classes fresh so your body never gets used to doing the same old thing. I recommend this place to anyone who is serious about working out and isn't looking for a quick fix trend.

It is a Planet Fitness only in name, it is much more like a typical lunk filled gym. The app showed only one small dot for crowd rating yet the place was jammed when I went in, so the app was wrong or the owner keeps it inaccurate. And there were riod lunk types everywhere, wearing bodybuilder tank tops, etc., tons of equipment with multiple big plates left on them, even got to witness a lunk rubbing a young girls leg next to him - it was overall pretty low class, and not at all what I usually see at every planet fitness. I think the staff needs to get this back to a Planet Fitness instead of being a Gold's Gym. It has potential, but the staff needs to get to work here, and the owner needs to fix these issues. Definitely NOT a judgment free zone, much more like the place the original commercials said it wouldn't become. Needs fixing. Not a lot of five or four star reviews here, maybe that's for a reason?

His belongings were stolen from the men's locker room, and we immediately filed a police report. After over a month of no communication, management finally reached out saying they "might" have a suspect. About a week later, we were told the bag had suddenly reappeared in the locker room after a nightly check--which raises serious concerns. When we retrieved the items, cash ($300) and a YSL cologne were missing. There are too many inconsistencies, and the situation feels poorly handled and unprofessional. What's more concerning is the lack of accountability--calls to the GM have gone unanswered, and no effort has been made to offer compensation or reassurance. For a facility that markets itself as luxury, this experience fell far below expectations. I've also since heard of similar incidents happening in the men's locker room, which is alarming.

When we arrived, we noticed a large crowd gathered outside. We walked up to the admissions area, where an employee informed us that the facility had reached capacity due to a major swim event. Because of this, they were only allowing season pass holders to enter and were not selling day passes. We completely understand that facilities have occupancy limits and appreciate the staff for enforcing them. Our frustration is with the lack of communication beforehand. A major event with limited public access should have been clearly posted on the website well in advance so families wouldn't make the trip unnecessarily. To make matters more confusing, the hours listed on Apple Maps and Google Maps were inaccurate, and the website was difficult to navigate. The notice about the capacity restrictions wasn't posted until about an hour before we were turned away. While we were there, we heard several other families expressing the same frustration. No hard feelings toward the employees--they were simply doing their jobs. However, the organization behind the website and event planning should do a much better job communicating closures, capacity limits, and special events to the public.

This is an older pool, so it's not as glitzy as some of the other pools in the area. They have 1 water slide, a diving board, a sand pit and a great toddler area. The toddler area here is fenced in and has it's own pool which is 0 dept to 2 feet or so. There are lots of chairs here for moms to sit poolside. Off of the toddler pool is the sand area. I've spent lots of time here and there are always extra chairs and some benches. There are toys available here, I wouldn't bring your own because you will get a headache trying to keep an eye on them. Pricewise, this pool has a cheaper admission rate for non residents. It's $11.75 for an adult and $7.00 for a child. Sometimes the pool closes early due to swim meets and this pool opens later that Rice Pool due to swim lessons. Another important thing to know is that the kids in the daycamps at Northside Park, swim at this pool from 1-3 or so. This summer (2010) the camps are relocated due to work at the park, but they will be back next year. This pool is a great one to hang out with your little ones. If you have older kids, the slides at Rice Pool are a better source of entertainment.

Don't sleep on this pool, defiantly better than Rice pool on the south side (Northside is more of a family aspect.) stay woke.

My 15 year-old son with special needs has been doing personal training with Colin for about a year. His training has been transformative! He started with very weak core strength and posture, and now he is in great shape, has much better posture, AND his ability to play violin, piano, and sing have immensely improved! All of his public and private music teachers have noticed the difference, thanks to his physical training at The Rough House. He is also more confident at school and in P.E class. I met Colin, the owner, and after chatting a bit he paired me up with Shana for my training sessions. A perfect match!! She is amazing! I always look forward to our sessions. 5/5 - would recommend to anyone looking for help with their personal fitness goals! My wife and I do partner training once a week with Colin, the owner of the gym. Colin learned our fitness goals, and has developed a program to suit both of us. Colin is a wealth of knowledge on form, physiology, diet, and exercises. His workouts challenge us both, and we've seen great results since starting. Personal training at Rough House is always the highlight of our week. Going to Rough House for several months in a row has spoiled us. The facilities are always in great shape. I have been training with Colin for about two years now. When I started I had never lifted weights before and was very intimidated by the gym. Now I lift often and am confident with my form as well as what exercises to do and when. Colin is great at helping me plan and train for my fitness goals, and has aways been a positive, encouraging, and educational resource for my well being. I've been a member of Rough House for about three years. I'm almost 60 years old and have arthritis issues but there's ALWAYS a modification available. The things I've learned in terms of working out and eating healthy are invaluable. Everybody is so encouraging and I never feel intimidated. I take group classes and use their app to sign up each week. They're so easy to schedule and I truly believe this is what helps me be accountable. I was a little hesitant attending a group class here, because of the name. Rough house sounded a little intimidating. Couldn't be further from the case, though. The instructor was so helpful, and the class was not too intense at all. He helped modify every exercise anyone had a problem with. The workout was great. Prefect amount of time (just under an hour), equipment seemed brand new, and the other people there were super nice and made me feel like I was one of the gang on my first day. I've been a member for almost a year, the classes are great and different every time. Everyone was very welcoming, I was not intimidated at all when I started. I now have a core and lost some weight. The trainers keep everyone motivated and take the time show proper technique and advise you while working out to maintain the proper technique. I recommend Julie or her partner Charlie to anyone that is ready to work for what you want in your health goals, if you prefer a personal one on one training experience, and if you do not want to be part of a giant gym. It's a calm, welcoming environment and feels like you've found the right place the moment you walk through the door. We waited and waited to see if anyone would show up. No one did. Someone forgot to actually schedule the class time. So no one knew to be there for our class. I understand mistakes happen. I do. But wouldn't you check to be sure you scheduled our class time before you took our $150 deposit??

I had been looking for a place that offered a variety of class times everyday instead of just a couple times a week like other gyms I've had memberships at. The studio is stylish and clean and everyone is really honest about life and struggles. The classes are just like working with a private trainer, small group with special attention to each member. They offer much needed accountability through different events, special monthly challenges and private group interactions. You are not for all women, you are not "lady strong" you are mean and you may not even know it.
