    Chicken and waffles.... $23...
    Jimmy P.

Alright the wait was insanely long for two dishes. ~45mins. The chicken and waffles was definitely a crime. $21 for chicken and waffles and if you refer to my pictures it's not much chicken at all and the waffle isn't any bigger than your typical hotel maker waffle. The short rib hash was $29 and had more food but just basic. Servers were really nice but I would definitely blame management for the long wait and overpriced/Food quantity. Food taste: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 cold if you aren't under the heater Views: 5/5 Service: 1/5 for insanely long wait Price: 2/5 understandable it's a hotel but God dang it's high

Cool vibes rooftop bar and restaurant with a view. Happy hour tacos are a deal, just don't order 3 of each when they can come three to a plate or else as I saw someone ending up with tacos to feed a family of five. Tacos were good. Service was friendly at the bar or at your table or seat. I even had eggs Benny for breakfast that I recall was pretty good for a hotel restaurant. Stay for the trivia night and end up winning a gift certificate enough for a drink or more. Enjoy!

We hung out here for a bit while our room was being prepared. Pretty decent deal on the specialty cocktails for happy hour. Drinks were good, the chicken wrap was fresh and tasty. Fries had a great batter on them and the chipotle mayo had a nice kick. I'd definitely recommend the rooftop for some quick food/drinks if you're around.

Cool STK rooftop IN Gaslamp Quarter. Beautiful rooftop to see the City and the waters before the night fall.

It was my husbands birthday & the food/service was amazing. We got the French toast & pretzel croissant sandwich, both were delicious! We will be returning! Thank you to the kitchen & wait staff for the complimentary birthday mini cheesecakes!!

Wow! One of the most beautiful rooftops I've been to in SD! Absolutely stunning views of the city and a nice ambiance. I was surprised it was so empty on a Saturday night. Nonetheless, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a quiet night seated by their beautiful fire sculpture. My only complaint was my overpriced glass of champagne

Flatbread + Chicken sliders + Fries + Margaritas
    Megan E.

Views are fantastic! The bread of the flatbread wasn't as crisp as I would've liked, but the flavors were good! My boyfriend liked the chicken sliders more, said it was crispy and that the fries were nice and crispy too! The margaritas definitely tasted like a pre made sour mix, and were definitely very strong but they sure did the job!

Fun spot! Friendly bartenders, delicious drinks, chill vibes! They offer a happy hour, I think it was 4-6. Delicious flat bread, we had the pear and arugula! I bet it would be a fun spot to come at night.

Stopped at the rooftop for a quick drink before heading downstairs for dinner. The rooftop was a fun environment loud music lots of happy people roaming around. it happened to be trivia night so that made my stay on the rooftop just a little more fun

Very mediocre! The only thing this place has going for them is the semi-decent views. Everything else was ok at best. Customer service left a lot to be desired. Food was nothing special. Cocktails were served in plastic cups. I had higher expectations going in!

We had a phenomenal breakfast here! The rooftop views are terrific and the service was prompt and kind. I had the Banana Pancakes which were absolute perfection! They were not too sweet and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Also, the orange juice was perfect as well. I would definitely eat here again in a heartbeat and try their other offerings.

I came here for a solo brunch date on a Saturday morning. There was one table available in the sun. I was asked if that was okay, and I said it was fine since it was a nice day out. As it got warmer and sunnier, the waiter moved me into the shade. Food & Drinks: I ordered the avocado toast and matcha latte for brunch. The avocado toast as pretty standard, and the eggs were poached nicely. The matcha latte was barely green though, so it was mostly milk with a hint of matcha. Service: Service was a little slow at the beginning. There may have been some miscommunication that I was seated, so it took my server a little bit of time before greeting me. It was a nice morning, so I didn't mind too much. After ordering, my food and drink came out promptly. TL;DR - lovely brunch spot. They are full service all day, so I'll need to come back to see how lunch and dinner fare.

What kind of music do they play?

Hi, Tara! It's a variety. Mostly top 100 hits or house music.

Is this a good first date kind of place?

The last time I was there (which was recent), it didn't impress me. Born & Raised (rooftop) in the Little Italy area is much nicer. But if you want closer to Gaslamp District, check out Rustic Root's rooftop. Hope this helps :)

Do you guys have any specials on mimosas or bloody Mary's during brunch hours on a sunday?

We just launched a breakfast specialty drink menu including bottle service mimosas, the hangover cure kombucha cocktail, Hot Cheetos bloody Maria, dirty match latte, and many more great options. Come check us out!

How's the wait for happy hour or drinks on the patio?? Evening or day time? Always wanted to check this place out.

Usually no wait at all! Come check out the beautiful view, it's a perfect spot for sunset!

I knew it was a speakeasy but he did not. I was trying to double-check on my phone that Craft & Commerce was the right restaurant its housed in (yes) when he tried to jet set off down the block "to keep looking" rather than listen to me. I yelled, "MOTHER!" by accident and then he did truly leave me hahaha. He resurfaced a few minutes later, and then we walked in. It was 5:15 at the time, so 15 minutes after opening. I had NO IDEA how popular this spot was, nor anything about its nation-wide reputation. I actually didn't know that until two days ago when a Yelp-friend at home here in Richmond, Virginia, exclaimed excitedly when I told her we stopped in. The host who greeted us was kind, informed us there had been a line to get in that day, but that they had one barrel left; we jumped on it of course. It was happy hour, so the first cocktail I ordered was dirt cheap at $9. It was the Imperial Hawaiian with gin, rum, lemon, pineapple, and orgeat. I really shouldn't have ordered a second drink after that one, but I did have the classic Saturn later on in the night and it was absurdly good! Definitely my favorite of the two. The moody tiki vibe was so cool and fun. They even had frogs you could play on the tables. We had some fun neighbors too, which livened up the experience even more. We had a great time and both walked out heavily buzzed. We were asleep by 8 that night, but it was worth it!

Once inside seating is first come first served so the place is insanely crowded with people trying to get drinks. Service is a little confusing as the waiters will come up to you with a menu asking for your order instead of an order at the bar type of thing. Once we actually got a seat things were okay. The menu is mostly rum drinks since this is a rum bar however since I'm not the biggest fan I ordered the only thing with tequila on the menu. My drink was actually really good, it was refreshing, not too sweet or strong at all. I just wish there would be more variety.
