The day we went they got a new menu. The burger and the nachos were both delicious. It is a quieter place and it wasn't too busy on a Thursday night. The service was fast and I would go back.

Great food! It was busy but had great service. The inside is a fun vibe and outdoor patio is amazing during summertime.

Had a Moscow Mule and I have to say, they are so delicious that you should change your restaurant name to the copper cup!

Getting a one star because it's the lowest you can go. Used to love this place, but the price has been getting higher and higher. Decided to go tonight and they have a new menu. The prices are the same, but they come with fries. Oh, but at the very bottom of the menu it tells you they charge a 3% service fee because they provide medical for their employees. Good for them, but the prices are a lie. Now to the food. Husband and I both ordered hamburgers. I love their burgers. Or, I did before tonight. The hamburger patties are half the thickness as the used to be. The buns were okay, but my cheese was hardly melted, which is amazing because my patty was so over cooked it was crunchy! The fries are different now too. They are the super thin crunchy fries, no longer the good fries they had before. My son had the BBQ Nachos and those were very good, he is picky and truly liked them. Only positive, when we complained to the waitress, she took good care of us, then ended up removing both our burgers off the bill since we didn't have time for them to re-make our burgers.

Weekend Special: El Cubano Pork Shoulder, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Swiss cheese, Cilantro Habanero Pickles, Mustard on Cuban Bread

I was so excited when I saw the weekend specials posted on FB. I am a big fan of Cuban sandwiches. So Sis and I decided to have Roadside for dinner. I couldn't find the Weekend Specials on the TO GO online order form so we decided to dine in. Seated quickly in a corner booth. I faced the wall and my view was VERY limited, constrained. To view a game on the TV, one would need to crank their neck up or back around. Would be nice to have a giant mirror on the West wall near the bar so I could see what was happening around me. Food order taken and served timely. Getting the check took a while. I was ready to hand my CC over before the waiter came back to check on us. He asked us how things were going right after we were served but never saw him again until I had the CC waiving in the air. I'm sorry to report that I was unsatisfied with this Cuban. Everything about it was dry and unflavorful. Well, except for the pickles. But I didn't get Cilantro Habanero from them. I thought they were dill until I reread the ingredient description. The pork was dry/ overcooked / chewy. The ham was a slab circle vs finely sliced. Minimal mustard on bun. Swiss cheese wasn't stringy, gooey. The bread was not warmed up or toasted, just served at room temp/cold. Overall, I'd say this was the worst Cuban I've ever had, and Jimmy John's had a Cubano on their menu! To finish off this review, I loved that the onion rings were battered and not breaded. And the fries were nicely seasoned. I'll stick my my own burger concoction (Fiesta burger in photos) from now on.

Bacon Cheesburger, Onion Rings, and Cheese Curds

Tried The Roadside in Blaine via DoorDash. Solid burger even after 20 minute delivery. Everything was packed very well to ensure quality during the trip. Good battered onion rings too. Only complaint is the overpriced Cheese Curds. $11.99 for a small portion of standard frozen breaded curds.

Blackened Walleye Tacos

Gave this place a try, and like so many other reviewers, found it to be offensively overpriced. I got the Blackened Walleye tacos (2 to the order) daily special for $11.99. They were tasty, but for that price, a small side of beans with melted cheese, or salsa or guacamole with some chips would have rounded things out. Ambiance was decent and the waitress was cheerful and friendly. Can't see myself going back for the lack of value.

French fries

Highly disappointed that they no longer have their hand cut fries. The used to be like the ones at the MN state fair. Now they serve skinny shoe string fries which are not bad but not as good as their hand cut fries. Please bring them back!

This has become my favorite restaurant. Great service and amazing food. Best burger I've had in awhile and the servers are the best around.

Food is greasy and made from low quality ingredients. Clientele is classless. Employees are unorganized and confused.

Marsu Pizzeria + Taqueria - Slice of birria pizza

Marsu Pizzeria + Taqueria

4.5(14 reviews)
17.3 mi•Powderhorn

Ben and Jerry's free ice cream cone day. After hanging out for half an hour with a live DJ,…read moredancing, and ice cream, we were ready for dinner. Priorities. What are we craving? Burgers? Nah. Pizza? Two maybes - plus the asker. Mexican? Again, two maybes. We start scouring possibilities. And come across a pizzaria + taqueria. Ratings at a very respectable 4.5. Curiosities at full peak. Plus it's close. We've got a winner. No guests inside when we arrive. Parking right out front. Before we even decide on an order, however, people start coming in. Several tables fill up within 10 minutes. Amusingly, the first next group grabbed the one curved booth with my full drink bottle still sitting on the table in the middle of them. They migrated to the semi-booth across the dining area. Clearly, the two most desired seating areas in the house. We ordered birria pizza and horchata - we have a tradition of testing the horchata at every next Mexican restaurant we try. This one was mid - not horrible, not great. Just was. We'd ordered a birria pizza recently, elsewhere. It came out as... a birria taco in pizza layout. Tortilla circle, birria middle, tortilla top. Meh. To be fair, that birria pizza was the only pizza item on that menu, so it made sense that their pizza just wasn't pizza-ing. We were hopeful for a very different experience this time. Especially given the very clear emphasis on pizza on this menu. Then the pizza came. Not only did it look glorious, a bowl of birria dip sat in the middle of the pizza, completing the birria experience. And it was absolutely fantastic. The birria, the ratio, the crust - everything was delicious. Except, as my friend pointed out, the horchata. It can't all be perfect, unfortunately. The pizza was so good that when we wrapped up the leftovers, a strip of end crust went in with the rest of the pie. Speaking of, I'm definitely ready to reheat all of that now - update: Awesome reheated. :) Next visit: Chorizo pineapple jalepeño pizza!

Marsu Pizzeria: The Battle for the Last Slice…read more I walked into Marsu Pizzeria already knowing two things: 1) I was about to have the best pizza of my life. 2) I was going to order way too much food and have no regrets. The place smelled like heaven--garlic, melted cheese, fresh dough. I took a seat, ready to devour a feast. A cheerful employee--let's call him Tony (because let's be real, every good pizzeria has a Tony)--walks up with a confident smile. Tony: "You ready for the best pizza of your life?" Me: "Tony, I've been training for this moment my whole life." I ordered the house special pizza (because if a pizza place has a signature pizza, you ORDER IT), plus some garlic knots, because I respect myself. The food came out fast, hot, fresh, and smelling like a dream. As I'm one slice away from food coma territory, I see it. The last slice. The holy grail. The perfect combination of cheese, sauce, and crispy crust, staring at me like it knows it's about to be devoured. Just as I'm reaching for it, Tony slides by the table, nodding at my plate. Tony: "You gonna finish that?" Me: "...I was planning on it, Tony." Tony: "You sure? I mean, we could put it up for auction. Bidding starts at one garlic knot." Me: "Not happening." Tony: "Alright, but just know... if you don't eat it in the next 30 seconds, I legally get to claim it." Now, I don't know what kind of pizzeria law Tony is operating under, but I wasn't about to test it. I stared him dead in the eyes as I picked up the last slice and took the biggest bite possible. Tony (nodding approvingly): "Good choice. That's the kind of hunger we respect around here." Long story short, Marsu Pizzeria has the best pizza, the best vibes, and employees who will absolutely test your commitment to finishing your food. Final score? 10/10 pizza. 10/10 service. 10/10 threats on my last slice.
