Dinner for 8 tonight and we had a great experience. The ambiance was excellent, service top notch. A littler slower start than expected but professional and courteous. Excellent chips and salsa, order the hot sauce if you like heat: it's Habenero based so it has amazing flavor. The menu is hug, most of us did the pick 2 meal which comes with a large portion of rice (not dry at all!) and beans. Parking is easy, very family friendly! read more

I went to Fiesta Mexican Grill (new name I think) to gorge on queso dip and margaritas with a crew. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server was very attentive and the inside was perfectly ac'd on such a hot day. Will definitely go again! read more

Went here on a Friday afternoon. The place is called 'Fiesta Mexican Grill & Bar' vs 'Fiesta Cancun'. Anyways moving on - ample parking as the restaurant is located in a strip style plaza with multiple other businesses. Was greeted by a super friendly host who was also my server. There is an outside patio but I chose to sit inside, the place was clean with plenty of seating. Server promptly brought over the menus & Chips/Salsa. I asked the server for a recommendation & he took his time to explain the options I was debating on. I went with the EL DORADO from the lunch special and it was amazing! The serving size was fairly big and it was flavorful. Chips seemed fresh and the salsa was pretty dang alright also! One thing to note - there is a difference of prices if you do not pay by cash, I think it is around 3.5% more if you choose to pay by card. read more

First time visiting --my husband & I had a great meal : Mexican tacos that were flavorful, meaty & not greasy; I had a grilled chicken & pineapple salad --came differently than I expected (a small sheet pan), but it was a perfect salad : good portion, well seasoned chicken, fresh avocado --and 2 grilled pineapple rings. I didn't think our house margaritas were very strong --until I finished mine and noticed the impact (lol) The bartender gave us a sample of two specialty Mexican drinks (a cinnamon milk that was delicious) It was clean, seems very authentic, a comfortable space with courteous staff --even though we arrived 25 minutes before closing on a Sunday evening!! They did an awesome job and we will definitely return. So glad we found this spot! read more

Been to this place 3 times and all 3 times I ordered my food with "No Sour Cream" !! I know that it doesn't sound like a very big deal but I have extreme reactions to this dairy product so I ask for any and all food to have no sour cream but all 3 times I've asked and received my food with sour cream !!! So beware if you have food allergies because you don't have any say in how you get your food at this place it seems !! read more

The food is great I just hate the sign on the door refusing entry to ICE. It makes me wonder why they would need to refuse entry if everything is above board? What's there to hide? I don't want to support businesses that are breaking laws. I hope they aren't read more

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. I had been searching and searching for over a year since I moved here and never had much luck. This place nails it on all aspects for me. We were immediately greeted and our server was to our table with waters and chips & salsa within 2 minutes of sitting down. He gave us time to look over the menu and checked in with us periodically to see how we were doing. He was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. My bf got a friend poblano with shrimp and crab on top- he loved it and would get it next time. I got the quesadilla with shredded chicken. The chips & salsa was good. The vibes were good and we will definitely come back. I would recommend if you're looking for Mexican in the area. read more

Food: A great mexican place with lots of good seafood options. Good for people with a gluten allergy as well. Service: Good and usually very friendly. Ambiance: amazing! usually not loud and has quite the decor. Only issue we have is that we usually come in right at opening and have to wait around 15 minutes for them to unlock the door. Once we waited around 30 minutes before we gave up, we even thought the place had closed down permanently. read more

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Stillwater! A hidden gem! The food is excellent and the service is exemplary. Everybody who works here is so nice and brightens your day. Fantastic environment too. It is decorated really well with great music playing. The portions are huge and the price is great. Warning: their orange sauce with habaneros is incredibly spicy. A drop on my pinky was overwhelming, but I do not do well with spice. Long story short, this is a fabulous restaurant with good prices, wonderful people, and wonderful food. This place is a must! read more

We stopped in on 10/30. The place was hopping for half capacity!! A very pleasant site at these times when small business needs it! I have never had bad service here and my food was GREAT!! Lindo's Special might be my new go to. Bed of rice, steak, shrimp, onion, peppers, mushrooms with queso over it!! I could only eat about half. My family enjoyed theirs as well! They were done eating by the time I took two bites! Well go try for yourself! read more

the food is fine, but just to know before you eat here. The service will scam you for cash tips! They will charge your card for your tip as well as taking the cash giving themselves double the tip. Do not leave cash tips, do not tip, or do not eat here. It honestly isn't good enough for the hassle and lazy service. read more

Beer drinkers: I got their tapped beer today, and it had that moldy taste for their Miller Light, and then also their Mich Light. I don't go to places when I know they don't clean the tap lines which is why it tastes so bad. The food was very good though and the service was excellent as well. However, I like to have tapped beer when I go out to eat and avoid places that you know don't clean their tap lines for the beer. Thus, even though food & service was good, I won't be back. Go there if you drink water or soda with your meal. read more

Absolutely horrible! Worst margarita, watered down, flavorless. Edgar the "server, host, bartender" was an utterly rude. We complained about the margaritas and he had a fit. Had a massive attitude and should probably find another line of work where he doesn't need to interact with other humans. Suggest that you look elsewhere when searching for a place to eat or enjoy a margarita. Worst ever, we got up and left. Never again... read more

Nice atmosphere and super friendly service! The food is pretty good, nothing crazy-special. They have $1 tacos on Tuesdays and that makes for a fun, inexpensive meal. Definitely get a margarita! read more

Good food, fast service, but almost unbearable due to the noise. A late lunch so we were one of two tables having lunch. The normal Latin music was on the sound system, but much louder Latin hip hop songs were coming from the kitchen The combined sounds were uncomfortable. We expressed out discomfort to our server, but no action was taken. We will press harder next time. read more

Their tacos always deliver! Queso dip is divine. I drive 20+ minutes out of my way for Fiesta... so good!

Me and my roommate normally sit at the bar, at this location there where 4 different bar tenders throughout our dinner. Unfortunately they failed to get back to us for a second beer. This is only the beginning, the menus where very sticky and dirty, had to ask to order after sitting at the bar with menus closed for 10 minutes while the multiple bartenders would ignore us, not to mention having to ask for menus. When finished dining we had to ask 4 different people other than bartenders for our tab, it was almost like everyone went on brake at one time. This was a hour and a half dinner at the bar. I know it's not fast food but definitely was not expecting this. The food was good 7-8 out of 10 and service was 0 out of 10 no doubt. read more

Fiesta Cancun is a delicious addition to Oak Park Heights. The service was 5 star. We were seated immediately and our server was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I had the California burrito which came out sizzling. The steak was lean and well seasoned. Everyone i was with enjoyed their meal. Only drawback was that there were a few mistakes made on our order, flour tortillas instead of corn and refried beans instead of black (which they never had in the first place). Small things. For dessert we ordered churros which I wouldn't recommend. They tasted stale and were drowned in cinnamon to make up for it. Overall a good experience and relatively inexpensive. I recommend it if you're in the mood for Mexican! read more

I had the lunch special #1. The hard shell beef taco was good, the chili rellano was decent, the guac salad only had a tablespoon of guac on it though. The chips were fresh and warm and the salsa was the usual Mexican restaurant standard, nothing special. I liked it, didn't love it, but will definitely give it a couple more visits. The beans were really good! read more

Their hours have changed, they open at noon everyday and close around 9 during weekday and 8 on weekends or something like that

Service is okay, food is okay...not planning on ever going back. I had the al pastor fajitas Pros - Portion size Cons - No flavor - service was pretty terrible, the server didn't know ANY of the beers on tap and refills weren't happening My review is short because there wasn't much to say about this place. This is your typical, average, Minnesota Mexican restaurant. It's not terrible, but you could probably make better Mexican food at home with an Old El Paso meal kit and a bottle of tequila. read more

This was the best Mexican restaurant that I have been to. The flavor just explodes in your mouth!! Everything was very fresh and hot.

Fantastic service with good food. Big portions. Strong margaritas. I really enjoy the burritos and the vegetarian options.

Bland food. No flavor. everything seemed microwaved. Most staff attentive but not worth a visit.

COMPLETELY underwhelmed. Service was mediocre, food was ok. You have a table of 10 people (4 of whom wore chef's coats) We were ignored completely for over 30 minutes for drinks (a few of us went to the bar, paid cash and were still charged for said drink) It finally took 1 member of our party to stand up and ask "do you want our money or what" before we were given any attention. And you were not even 1/4 filled. And you were not prepared for a cash purchase!!! read more

Disappointed again. We order from this location on a pretty regular basis and it seems every time at least one of the orders is wrong. Sadly, the last two times it has been my order. I understand that lunch time is busy, but seriously, how difficult is it to do just beans and no rice in a buritto? The food isn't bad and considering they use an outside service for delivery it's not really a surprise the food is cold. read more

Food and service is mediocre. Tables are all cramed by each other so its like sitting on top of strangers unless you are fortunate enough to get a booth. Food is overpriced and not very good. I would not go back. read more

Just walked out of the Hugo location absolutely disgusted. We requested a table inside and not a booth because they are so small. After waiting 15 minutes and watching several parties get seated we finally told them to seat us in a booth. Walking into the dining room we saw several dirty, empty tables. We went back and asked them to clean a table for us. We sat there for another 15 minutes with no service, which is when we decided to walk out. The menus were sticky and absolutely disgusting. The table was sticky and still dirty. When the table was wiped, everything was pushed onto the chairs. The floor was sticky and extremely dirty. This was a favorite spot for us pre-COVID, but now we will never return. read more

Went there last week for dinner after missing out to a couple others due to there busyness. I was pleasantly surprised to how good the food was! I had the BFB, Big Fiesta Burrito and it was awesome! We've gone here 4 times now, and every single time the food has been great, excellent made from scratch guacamole, phenomenal street tacos, large, size of your head burritos filled with fresh ingredients, and oh the margaritas - top notch. Wow!!! Tonight was my first time trying Fiesta Cancun and it's easily become my favorite Mexican spot in the area. We got there in time for happy hour and had house margaritas. I'm not much of a margarita connoisseur so I can't really compare it to other ritas I've had but it was big and cold and yummy. I had the shrimp tacos with mango salsa and those were delicious!!! The shrimp was cooked to perfection and the mango added a nice sweet flavor. They also came on those fancy zigzag taco holders so eating them wasn't a mess. Our waitress talked us into a tres leches cake for dessert and I'm so glad she did (it's a huge slice so it's great for sharing) because it was also incredibly yummy! But by far the best part about this place was the service. We had chips and salsa on our table the second we sat down, our waitress was attentive and helpful, and our food arrived so quickly I thought they might have the wrong table when they started setting plates down. This place is a gem and I would highly it! read more
