To preface, I am from Georgia so i am very used to amazing food. That being said: i'm not a fan of the atmosphere, there's some music playing on a speaker that sounds like it's on its last days. The decor is okay, plant-inspired. Not much to look at and the lighting is quite dim. There is zero service here. No one even greets you when you walk in. It's basically operating like a fast food place. More importantly, the pictures on the menu are way different from the items you actually get. The food is fine but it is not delicious, and I don't see myself coming back here. I ordered steak quesadillas and it's like they barely toasted a tortilla, threw some tasteless meat and mozzarella cheese on it and called it a day. I had to eat sauce with every bite otherwise it would be essentially tasteless. There was nothing else on it, no onion, no peppers, nothing. I could've made better at home. This isn't even a proper restaurant. You don't get drinks, even water unless you order it. No free chips and salsa or anything like that. read more

Stopped by this place on a weekday and it was a very chill environment. We ordered on the kiosk. I got two Birria tacos individually because in my past experience, three is just too many for me. While the tacos were tasty, I definitely noticed they had a little bit less fillings than they have in the past with less onion and cilantro. The birria itself also tasted a little bit dry, although it was still very flavorful. The service did take a while, which seems unusual for this place because they are usually not that slow. I also wish they had a free water fountain or something, I don't always want to buy a water bottle. read more

As a fan of Mexican street food, I had been looking forward to trying this "street taco" spot for years. Unfortunately, this was one of the most underwhelming meals of the year. the ambience is pretty much nonexistent, despite the excellent mexican wrestling mask branding. And then the ordering system sucks. Kiosk ordering. Not much there but tacos and burritos and churros. No chips and guac on the menu but like, you know they have chips and guac. Whatever. I added guac to my Asada burrito for $2.75. $20 out the door for a burrito. Ok well this better be good for $20. Opted for a paper receipt and it spit out a blank one. The burrito arrived to my table tightly wrapped, cleanly cut with a side of sauce that looked vaguely like Russian dressing, but not really like anything I have received from any Mexican place in my life. Portion size was decent, not huge. First thing I noticed was the end of the world stockpile of brown rice. Brown? hmm. Not a fan. Every other ingredient was an afterthought and hard to discern in any one bite. I paid for a burrito, not a rice-rito! I can buy a sack of rice at the store for $10 and eliminate the middle man! And though I chose the "hot" option, the spice level was minimal. "Minnesota hot". the thing was really flavorless. I went back to counter to ask for side of hot sauce which they were generous with, but turned out to be the same weird colored crap on my tray. Hmm ok let's try the hot sauce. Folks, it was "not sauce." Strong taste of soy (?!) and god knows what else but certainly not chili peppers. Disappointing, expensive, bland, inauthentic all that. The most flavor came from a few lime wedges. Came home hungry and sads. I guess I forgot to be a drunk college student at 2 am. read more

We stumbled upon this spot and it blew us out of the water. You order from a kiosk, which is helpful as the staff doesn't speak much English (there are signs noting this). We couldn't choose between a few items, so we got them all and brought leftovers home. Quesabirria Tacos - the birria was packed with flavor and nearly overflowing with beef. We opted for them without onion. The salsas they came with paired wonderfully with the tacos. Birria Ramen - OMG this was the best Birria Ramen I've ever had and I'm not exaggerating. It was plentiful and full of beef. The consume/base was spicy and incredibly flavorful. This was the item we brought home and it was even better the next day. Crazy Fries - we chose pork since everything else had the Birria Beef. We also minimized the toppings since we were sharing them. The guacamole and salsas provided the freshness needed in conjunction with the heaviness of the fries, cheese, and pork. The portion was massive but we loved every bite. We will absolutely be returning. This just topped our list of favorite taco spots in the Twin Cities. read more

Tried their Birria Ramen, Quesabirria tacos, and Crazy Fries. When I tell you that everything was incredibly flavorful I am not kidding!! You order through a kiosk, which can help reduce the anxiety of selection, then your food is brought to the table of your choosing in a matter of minutes. The decoration is quite modern and inviting and there's a fair amount of sitting areas considering the size of the restaurant. Never dined in at this place, but we ordered take out for dinner one night. We got the Birria Ramen, Crazy Fries (with Al Pastor), and the Esquites. The Birria consommé was very rich and the meat was super tender, but the ramen noodles were a bit too soft for my liking, probably because they used instant ramen. The fries came with a whole bunch of toppings which included choice of meat, beans and guacamole (to name a few). The Esquites made for a good snack, we paid extra to add hot cheetos to it, but I think it would have tasted better with fresh corn instead of canned. Portion sizes were also generous. Overall, the food was authentic, very flavorful, and aggressively seasoned. Pretty good. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite and ordered a single chicken taco ($4.75)--ended up being so good I couldn't help but order another. The hot sauce was actually hot (not Minnesota hot), and the taco was full of bold, satisfying flavor. Round two: the American taco with asada ($5.25), this time with medium green sauce--flavorful with just the right amount of kick. Washed it down with a lightly sweetened hibiscus agua fresca, which was the perfect balance to the heat. The staff was friendly, the music authentic, and the whole place had great energy. Spent $50 on an Uber Eats order to my hotel only to be sent ramen in a d**m bowl that looks like it came off the shelf of a grocery store. I could have went and paid $10 for this and popped it in the microwave. The sodium level on this is 43%. I wandered in here one day because it looked interesting. This was around the Day of the Dead time of year so the decor was really fun. They have a kiosk for ordering, as well as Door Dash and counter service. Plenty of seating and access to restrooms. I wasn't very hungry, so I just ordered a couple of street tacos. Great street style tacos, plenty of seating and love the self serve setup for ordering and not being reliant on someone for water/refills. Fun, hole in the wall vibe. The workers are super friendly, however don't be surprised that few do not speak the best english. The menu looked super, but I had my mind and taste buds on the birria ramen. Let me first admit that I am not a fan of ramen. I have eaten it a few times, yet its never my go to when I think about meals. You get a great serving for the price. The drink options are few, however I just went with Mexican coke. My first bite into my ramen and I was hooked. Packed with the delicious marinated birria beef, this ramen set my tasters into a frenzy. Perfectly seasoned, meat plentiful and just enough spice to give a good kick. I was sold and before I knew was almost done with my bowl. On a scale of 1 to 5, its definitely a 6 for me. This is truly my opinion and you may not like ramen or birria. We were greeted with 2 self serve ordering kiosks. Because we Yelped the menu, it was pretty easy using the kiosk knowing what piqued our interests. I loved the Ramen. Haven't tried the other locations but stopped by to check this location out since it was close to where I live. Food: I tried the quesabirria and it was very good! It had lots of meat which is nice. The consume was a bit salty for my liking but still a good dip for the tacos. Service: The staff greeted us right when we got in and everyone was very friendly. Ambiance: they have seating for you to dine in towards the back of the restaurant and you can see the food being prepared. Had some cool decor for you to take pictures with. The corn torts are dipped and fried semi-crisp and come with lime slices. We chose medium heat and were pleasantly surprised to find that it was just right for us. At $14.95 for three well-stuffed tacos, we felt the price was right on target. The electronic check in took a minute to figure out, but worked well. Didn't even eat here after seeing the price for two people. $57.00 for two orders of tacos and two drinks. A $9 tax and service fee??? And then a forced tip. They have kiosks for you to order YOURSELF, and still you are forced to pay a tip. The kiosk doesn't give you an option of no tip. I'm not paying a tip when I have to order at a kiosk and there's no waiter service. It's super small in there too. May try the one in Crystal next time. read more

This place started showing up on the food accounts I follow in city, and once I saw the birria ramen, I knew I had to try. The location I went to is on Hennepin, and there's plenty of street parking nearby. Can't say much for service since you order from a tablet, which I'm not a big fan of for food places since it's nice to put a face and name to the place. It worked just fine though, and the food was brought out hot and fast. I got the ramen of course, but also tried their quesabirria tacos and crazy nachos. It was all around punching above its weight! The tacos were piled with meat, though the seasoning lacked just a bit of punch, nachos were loaded, and the ramen was unlike anything I've had before. Flavorful for sure, it was also exceptionally rich and large. It truly is just ramen noodles and beef in the dipping consommé that birria tacos are famous for. If this is the only thing you're ordering, it could get heavy fast. My small group did things family-style, and so as a flavor among many I enjoyed it. Can't forget the space-- purple lighting and neon signs give this spot a distinct atmosphere.
