We don't access to our friend's pool this summer so we had to get creative!…read more We finally checked out Clunie Pool this week and went twice because we had such a great time. I wish I took pictures but I didn't. The shallow end starts at 3.5 ft and goes to 10.5 ft I believe. Everyone can go to 3.5 ft, but if you want to go to the deeper areas or diving board you have to do a test to earn a wristband. You swim (the short way) across the pool however you want, you just cannot touch the bottom of the pool. The pool is so clean and feels so fresh. My son I have a bet, we wonder how long it would take to fill up the entire pool with only one hose on full blast... What do you think?? The facilities are just OKAY - it is a large facility, it's is also older (our 82 year old Nonna has fond memories of using the diving board when she was a kid!) but it does the job. There is also a large very shallow pool area for toddlers and preschoolers!

Parking in lot or street side, all free. Life Guards inforce the rules, have fun but be safe or get the whistle. Have the kids wading pool with a huge mushroom waterfall. Ages 7 and under and less than 4' 2". Middle pool is 3 1/2 feet to 4 1/2 feet. Diving pool is 10 to 12 feet deep. They alternate from diving board only to free jump/swim randomly. They have a rinse off before and after station at the entrance/exit. Also the restrooms are located here. Seating they have a few tables around and a bunch of benches, and a lot of grass section. Bring some towels and beach chairs grab some shade on the wicked hot sunny days. Few rules they inforce NO RUNNING - really don't, the concrete around the pools is wicked slippery, just walking after getting out i slipped 2x so be careful in wet areas. Swim Shirts - must be tucked in diving pool, so it doesn't have a chance to choke you out like in a hockey fight and get pulled over your head. No floatys aloud. Life vest must be certified by U.S. Coast Guard types #1, #2 or #3. If you were a vest your not aloud in the diving pool, to deep and if you can't swim or swim well you need to stay in the middle pool. So I was a tad nervous my older son would be in a class with younger kids. Sea Turtles Class was a perfect class for my 9yr old. He's comfortable in the water, but just needs to know the fundamentals in different strokes. Starfish Class suits beginner swimmers. My 5yr old has tiny fear of putting his face under water... But the instructor was able to get him to do it within the first 5 mins!!!!! Each class had about 4-6 kids each. The Starfish class only had 2-3 kids!! Which I loved!! Basically a personal lesson for $35 (x3 a week) I look forward to the 2 weeks of swimming lessons for my boys. As I listen to the instructors, they are very calm, and patient to the students. They are clear, and don't rush their explanations. Very impressed Doyle Pool!

Adj: very nice aquatic center for the community…read more We aren't close by here, so we've not been here but a few times, but we do like this aquatic center which is much more than a regular rec pool and much nicer than most city aquatic centers. It actually reminds me of Sunsplash, but not as fancy, understandably. Still, my kids and their friends have a great time here every time we come and swim and play, no matter that there's "only" a huge rec pool and 2 slides and a kiddie splash play structure, plus a lap pool that's not open for rec swim time. Still very fun all the same. Being end of the summer season, it was pretty empty on the day we came and we almost have the whole place to ourselves! With only a couple of weekends left that this place is open until next summer, I'm glad we decided to have fun here one last time. The pool is super clean (see pics), and lots of seating bc so few people are here, so all empty lounging chairs and "Roman" awning/tents. Plenty of picnic tables too, with umbrellas for shade. Overall, we really like this aquatic complex, I'm very thankful that the City of Sacramento built this nicer and still very new because it's really well-kept and maintained. It's great for the community and especially for kids and young adults!

They really enjoyed it. More people came as the day continued. There's lot of lifeguards and they pay close attention so it's good, but of course everyone should watch their kids also. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean, with stalls for changing and rinsing off too. The bathroom was in good shape and well maintained clean. There are plenty of in the sun lounging chairs as well as some under tents. There's the water slides as mentioned, as well as a big kids water features play structure. Of course, there's also a big rec pool that could hold a lot of people so everyone can spread out and swim. All in all, a pretty nice aquatic complex for recreational swim and for those who swim for exercise they also have a lap pool. Hours vary, always check the website and call to confirm.

The front office receptionist was sweet and provided a warm disposition. Next, I got settled in by providing my driver's license to exchange for a lock box with a key. Finally, I was directed to the space that had lockers, bathrooms, rooms for changing clothes, etc. I simply put my belongings up first, since I was informed I would start with my massage first. I opted for this package in advance: 50-Min Massage & 2-hour Bathhouse utilization. This offering was priced at $140.00. My appointment was set for 2:00 PM sharp. I went to the Green Room, where all massage reservations were held. The massage therapist that I selected online for the booking was Michael. Michael was incredibly wonderful. His techniques put my entire body in a state of rejuvenation. I almost wanted to fall asleep because the entire massage was so comforting and met expectations. Next, I proceeded to the entire bathhouse. The entire ambiance was filled with a lot of peace and tranquility. I was going between the warm pools and doing the cold plunges, as well as stepping into the steam room. There were moments when I also relaxed on the lounge chairs. The key was also to stay hydrated. Water was readily available with plastic cups, and guests were able to bring their own water bottles inside, too. The two hours went by so fast, because of how much I truly enjoyed this self-care day to myself. I'm so grateful that I discovered this business. I can say that I am completely in love with the services and offerings provided at Asha Urban Baths. The overall value was well worth it. If an area is reserved you'll see signs up for the timing. When there are bigger events the parking nearby tends to fill up, but when there aren't events you can usually find plenty of free parking nearby. The park has a basketball court, baseball field, tennis courts, picnic tables, disc golf, a skate park, a nice playground and even a pool. There are paved paths and there are multiple areas that are great for entertaining groups, including a stage area. They pack a lot into a relatively small area and while there's a lot to do it won't take you long to walk around. While we were walking around a family was having a party and plenty of people were utilizing the different areas for sports. There were also some people walking their dogs, like us, but some people had their dogs off leash in some of the bigger areas. There wasn't a dog park area. it was beautiful while we were there and everything was clean and well kept.

All in all, this place is o.k., but I could see myself getting tired of dealing with the other members too, and the pool temp really needs to be brought down.
