I wish I took pictures but I didn't. The shallow end starts at 3.5 ft and goes to 10.5 ft I believe. Everyone can go to 3.5 ft, but if you want to go to the deeper areas or diving board you have to do a test to earn a wristband. You swim (the short way) across the pool however you want, you just cannot touch the bottom of the pool. The pool is so clean and feels so fresh. My son I have a bet, we wonder how long it would take to fill up the entire pool with only one hose on full blast... What do you think?? The facilities are just OKAY - it is a large facility, it's is also older (our 82 year old Nonna has fond memories of using the diving board when she was a kid!) but it does the job. There is also a large very shallow pool area for toddlers and preschoolers!

I really liked this because it wasn't too busy and I could still enjoy the other tasks I had to do throughout the day. It was great to start my Sunday at Asha and the start of my week! I experienced restoration of my well being through water and heat at Asha. The soak was nourishing and relaxing. This was my first cold plunge experience and I really enjoyed it. I felt awake after! The sauna was great. It was my first time doing that too. It was soothing and my skin felt so great after this whole experience. The customer service is great when you check in and out. I wasn't the only newbie and it was wonderful to have the kind staff tell us about what to expect with the lockers, changing rooms and showers. There's parking in the lot by the building and street parking. Check out this bathhouse for a relaxing vibe! I cannot wait to go back.

Adj: very nice aquatic center for the community…read more We aren't close by here, so we've not been here but a few times, but we do like this aquatic center which is much more than a regular rec pool and much nicer than most city aquatic centers. It actually reminds me of Sunsplash, but not as fancy, understandably. Still, my kids and their friends have a great time here every time we come and swim and play, no matter that there's "only" a huge rec pool and 2 slides and a kiddie splash play structure, plus a lap pool that's not open for rec swim time. Still very fun all the same. Being end of the summer season, it was pretty empty on the day we came and we almost have the whole place to ourselves! With only a couple of weekends left that this place is open until next summer, I'm glad we decided to have fun here one last time. The pool is super clean (see pics), and lots of seating bc so few people are here, so all empty lounging chairs and "Roman" awning/tents. Plenty of picnic tables too, with umbrellas for shade. Overall, we really like this aquatic complex, I'm very thankful that the City of Sacramento built this nicer and still very new because it's really well-kept and maintained. It's great for the community and especially for kids and young adults!

They really enjoyed it. More people came as the day continued. There's lot of lifeguards and they pay close attention so it's good, but of course everyone should watch their kids also. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean, with stalls for changing and rinsing off too. The bathroom was in good shape and well maintained clean. There are plenty of in the sun lounging chairs as well as some under tents. There's the water slides as mentioned, as well as a big kids water features play structure. Of course, there's also a big rec pool that could hold a lot of people so everyone can spread out and swim. All in all, a pretty nice aquatic complex for recreational swim and for those who swim for exercise they also have a lap pool. Hours vary, always check the website and call to confirm.

Sequoians is an inclusive body-positive space for all ages, genders, and body types (including…read morepost-surgery or modified bodies)! It's an overall pretty chill space with a clubhouse, bocce ball, hiking, and pool/hot tub. It's member-only, and the community is tight-knit and welcoming. We have been members for the last year, and my girls (9,7,5) love going. They are treated with incredible love and respect by all the members and there are currently several families with kids, ranging from 5-14 years old. Yes, it's naked. Yes, you will see naked people. Yes, you will be naked! Kids under 18 do not have to be naked if they don't want to, but adults are expected to be clothes-free most of the time. Let me tell you why Sequoians is walking the walk on inclusivity, and why it isn't creepy. 1) Creepiness is gross and bad for all ages; sexualizing kids is wrong, full stop. 2) Creepiness is bad for business! Getting accused of improper activities is bad for business! Sequoians, and nudists in general, have a vested interest in keeping their spaces safe for everyone. 3) Inclusivity is more fun! More people can be included and feel safe, and that feels good. Therefore: Sequoians makes a big deal of vetting potential members, and everyone is educated about body positivity and etiquette. You see consent engagements in real life, in terms of playing with the kids, hanging out in shared spaces, keeping spaces clean, and working together for the benefit of everyone. Everytime we do out there, my kids say "ohhhhh we love it here!" and I do too. If you are interested in learning more, please read the website. And come visit!

We've been to Antelope Aquatic Center a few times now, and overall, we've really enjoyed it!…read more One thing I especially want to mention is the lifeguards. They're young, but they are SO attentive and constantly watching the pool. You can really tell they're well-trained and take their job seriously. As a parent, it makes you feel a lot more comfortable knowing they're actually paying attention and keeping an eye on everything. Another big plus is that you can have a birthday party or small celebration there. You can bring your own pizza, food, cake, etc., and enjoy your celebration without having to deal with extra fees or complicated rules about bringing your own food. That's honestly so convenient for kids' parties! The only thing I'd mention as a small downside is that the water in the kids' area can be pretty cold. Especially when it's not super hot outside, it's not very comfortable for kids to stay in the water for a long time. The water in the main lap pool, though, feels perfectly comfortable for swimming. Other than that, we've had a great experience and will definitely be back!
