This review is not about the amount of money but about clear communication and transparency. If a service is being upgraded or significantly increasing in price, that should be clearly discussed and agreed upon before proceeding. I reached out privately to address the miscommunication, but the conversation escalated substantially rather than focusing on resolving the concern. The owner waited a week and then I woke up to a personal text message asking my husband and myself to never come back to her spa. If you book service here, make sure to discuss every minute thing around your service as your bill may be higher than you bargained for. Instead of you using this as a teaching opportunity to help her employee understand clear communication needs to be had before increasing the service as well as the charge associated with that, she used it as an opportunity to try to take advantage of a long-standing client. You don't put that kind of blame on the client. Her learning curve should not be at the expense of clients. You take on that risk and responsibility as the owner and her employer and you make it right without backlashing.
