When the phrase "Never trust a car salesman." comes up, this place really proves it to be true. I had the payments on "auto draft" but the man that did it passed away and no one told me. The man that took over "Jerry" as he calls himself took a big lump sum, so I guess he thinks people have all the money in the whole wide world. He calls four weeks after the man passed away to tell me that no payments were made, then doesn't pull payments on the days they were supposed to and said that "it was a promise between you and the dead guy", he "knows nothing about that". And he tacked on a late fee of double what the deceased man charges. And also, when I said, "Go ahead and take the payment." The clerk said, he'll try to remember, but when I checked the bank at night, no payments were taken. I *don't* recommend Middle Tennessee Auto Mart at all. It's a rip off! Would it make sense that if I had it on manual payments that I would call every week instead to find out the man passed away?

I brought a 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S in on Monday for a pre-purchase inspection. While the…read morevehicle was there, Mercedes performed an open recall involving a control-unit software update. During that process, the original control unit became unusable. A replacement was installed, but the dealership has still been unable to successfully program it and now Mercedes engineering has had to get involved. It is now Friday and the car is still sitting there with no firm completion date. I've received multiple updates, but very little actual information about when the vehicle will be fixed. Because of this delay, I had to cancel my transporter and lost $500, extend my rental car, and completely rearrange my plans. The vehicle went in running for a PPI and has now been tied up for nearly an entire week because of a recall/software procedure performed by Mercedes. I understand that technical problems can happen, but the lack of a clear resolution or meaningful timeline has been extremely disappointing for a Mercedes-Benz dealership. For a brand at this level, I expected much better support when something went wrong. I'll update this review if and when the situation is finally resolved.

This is not the auto shop for minor repairs or for people who have to watch their budget. My car stopped. I thought it was my alternator. The battery didn't seem to be holding a charge. I had taken out and had it tested and the auto parts place had told me I needed a new alternator. I had Pheonix come and get it. They were quick and responsive and all I needed was a new battery that ended up costing me 782 dollars after towing and the 149 dollar diagnostic. I would use them again for any MAJOR issue, but I'll never return for anything I even suspect is a minor repair. Nearly a thousand bucks for a battery seems excessive.
