During that process, the original control unit became unusable. A replacement was installed, but the dealership has still been unable to successfully program it and now Mercedes engineering has had to get involved. It is now Friday and the car is still sitting there with no firm completion date. I've received multiple updates, but very little actual information about when the vehicle will be fixed. Because of this delay, I had to cancel my transporter and lost $500, extend my rental car, and completely rearrange my plans. The vehicle went in running for a PPI and has now been tied up for nearly an entire week because of a recall/software procedure performed by Mercedes. I understand that technical problems can happen, but the lack of a clear resolution or meaningful timeline has been extremely disappointing for a Mercedes-Benz dealership. For a brand at this level, I expected much better support when something went wrong. I'll update this review if and when the situation is finally resolved.

The Audi I bought for my daughter, but it was too small for her comfort, so I was able to trade it in for a Mazda. This car was gorgeous, but she totaled it 2 weeks later. After the wreck, we ended up buying a Nissan in 2021 because the insurance couldn't replace the Mazda. They were too expensive at the time of her wreck. We got a super deal on it from The Rite Car. I drive a BMW x5 from there and have had it for over 4 years. It's still going strong with a few minor problems bc of the age of car/high mileage. I drove my Lexus from there for 3 years before trading up to the BMW. I love the way BMW's drive, so i decided to switch cars. It was an easy process. The only complaint I have is BMW's maintenance costs and gas mileage, but this isn't the dealers fault. I have referred several family members to The Rite Car and between friends and family, we have bought over 12 cars. Not one time has someone ever had anything bad to say about the service or issues with the car they purchased. I've also had to wait in the office many times when waiting on financial approval or when trading cars. Most customers I've talked to have been repeats and very happy. They offer a great warranty package to go with your purchase. My family members usually buy the warranty, and only 1 has had to use it with no issues after a year of having the car. They bought it in 2016 and still runs great and looks new. The problem they experienced was from a known issue with Ford Edge's, but since they purchased a 12 month warranty, the issue was covered. I really like that each car has a print out of the Carfax if asked for it. It shows the maintenance, damage, or recall issues for that car. I also research the make and model before purchasing to be aware of "known issues". I hope this review helps in the future for your next car! Good Luck! This is not the auto shop for minor repairs or for people who have to watch their budget. My car stopped. I thought it was my alternator. The battery didn't seem to be holding a charge. I had taken out and had it tested and the auto parts place had told me I needed a new alternator. I had Pheonix come and get it. They were quick and responsive and all I needed was a new battery that ended up costing me 782 dollars after towing and the 149 dollar diagnostic. I would use them again for any MAJOR issue, but I'll never return for anything I even suspect is a minor repair. Nearly a thousand bucks for a battery seems excessive.
