Highly recommend! Ordered online and was ready as times estimated online. Lady was very sweet and greeted my husband. Food was hot and steamy! Flavor is a 10/10!! Loved the lo mein chicken and beef fried rice! Ordered the sweet and sour chicken and was perfect! Orange chicken was very tangy my husband loved that it had orange real flavor and peels. Everything was fresh. We will be back!!

The Rice Pot caught me by surprise at how good it is. Unbeknownst to me, there's several RP locations throughout DFW. The Cross Roads location was my first visit and the food was great!

Worst beef Lo mein we have ever had. Should have called it garlic noodles with three day old vegetables and dehydrated beef.

Worst, I mean the worst place we have ever been to. From the appearance of the restaurant to the customer service or lack there of and reheated food from lunch. Everything had so much garlic that it was all you could taste. The wonton soup literally had no wonton in it which was soy sauce and water. The meat was so dry and what vegetables we did get seemed like they were three days old. We will never ever be back to this place.

Look at all the grease around the rim of the container.

Simply awful... I called Rice Pot Express and order a Crab Rangoon, and Chicken Lo Mein. I wasn't told that the side of grease would be free! The Crab Rangoon was actually just burnt wontons. The wontons were a dark brown, not golden, there was very little crab, and they had a carbon flavor to them. Why anyone would serve these is beyond me. They belonged in the trash, witch is exactly where I put them. The Chicken Lo Mein came with an extra side of grease. It was all over the container, all over the bag, and it made the dish inedible, the whole dish tasted like burnt oil, so I tossed it in the garbage next to the Crab Rangoon. The Dr Pepper I ordered was the only part of the meal I enjoyed, but considering I didn't eat anything, that makes it the most expensive Dr Pepper in history at 15 dollars and some change. I would not go back, nor would I recommend it to a friend, or even an ex!

It is in fact the best Beef & Broccoli I've ever had! We had a favorite mom and pop Chinese restaurant that we loved, but sadly they closed 12 years ago and moved out of state. We always enjoyed Beef & Broccoli there and finally I have found a place that offers it and it tastes even better than our old favorite! Others in our group enjoyed the Kung Pao Chicken, Combo Fried Rice and the Edamame of course! The Crab Rangoon is ok, I wish there was more filling inside. We ordered ahead online and went to pick it up. We were warmly greeted when we arrived, but our order wasn't quite ready yet. No problem, we took a seat and waited a few minutes and before we knew it, we were on our way home to enjoy a delicious meal!

Bathrooms are cute, clean, and well stocked. What I didn't care for... I received my Mongolian beef early. My husband didn't get his orange chicken for 20ish minutes. I had a few bites but waited, we typically eat together. After 15 minutes, the eggrolls came out hot and fresh, now my food is getting cooler and the hubby still hasn't received his meal. All of this to say, consider making the easier dish later so they can be done together or hold meals until they can be served together. There was a long wait between food delivery, drink refills, and check, but in our servers defense: he was the only one serving, and it got busy for lunch. I may try it again when in the area

He offered suggestions and told us if there was anything we did not like to let him know. We had a lot of different things. The Red Devil Beef was super flavorful and like nothing I had before. It was a spicy but doable and full of yum. We also had the beef flat noodle, black bean chicken garlic, rangoons and green beans. When I say everything was cooked perfectly I mean everything. When I started writing the review I had it as 4 stars. I am often hesitant on giving a 5 on my first visit. Due to Ty taking personal accountability and catering to make everything just right I felt the 5 was well deserved. My only feedback is I felt the prices were just a little higher than expected. It was not ridiculous and maybe it is inflation. Regardless their food is good.

First, many of the dishes lacked the authenticity. The hot and sour soup wasn't sour at all and was overwhelmed by the flavor of sesame oil. The black bean noodles tasted like instant noodles you could make at home, and we ended up adding black vinegar ourselves just to bring some acidity and balance to the dish. The sweet chili shrimp also didn't taste fresh. At the end of our meal, we literally said "this tasted like Chinese buffet food." The service and dining environment made the experience even worse. Throughout our meal, we constantly heard dishes being slammed around from servers cleaning tables. At one point, something was dropped so hard that dishes shattered across the floor. A trash cart was parked right next to our booth while we were eating, and the staff even started mopping the floor directly in front of us during the lunch rush. I understand that restaurants often hire seasonal staff during the summer, but proper training is still important. The way the dishes were handled throughout our meal was loud, chaotic, and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy our dining experience. It's unfortunate because our first experience of this restaurant was great, but this visit fell well short of our expectations.
