Saw the decent star rating on Yelp and wanted to try it out for my Mom's birthday. Overall the place looked clean and they were jamming some old school pop music. Cute. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered crab rangoon and pork eggrolls (I don't eat either so no feedback for that). I ordered just water to drink and it tasted terrible. Not filtered - I guess just straight out of the tap? Not sure but I ended up ordering tea which was fine. Their drinking glasses were lil pitchers which were cute. We asked about the spice level and the waiter said there were no levels - it's just "however the cook feels like it that day". ‍ I got the chicken lo mein, TONS of food for $16. Flavor was good but too oily for me. When the check came around I noticed the cash vs card price. About $3 extra to use a card. Who carries cash these days? They don't have a modern POS machine so they took my card to the back to process. Their tipping suggestions were 15,20,25,30%. Overall, it was okay but I probably won't be going back.

The food is good but their prices are outrageous. How is it 40.00 for 1 person - shrimp fried rice, egg rolls and crab Rangoon? The fried rice is big serving but even then it's mostly rice and a few huge chunks of broccoli and few shrimp. I wish they used the smaller shrimp instead of the large one and they cut up the broccoli better

To start off I've given this place a try 3 times to try different dishes before I wrote this review and I've decided all in all, it's kinda pricey but great Vietnamese cuisine especially for being in Portland. The pho was great! Possibly a competition with my top 5 pho joints in Houston, surprisingly (big competition out there). Double meat is a must although I wish they'd offer tendon. Anyways, it saves me a trip to Corpus for my pho craving (I used to frequent Lei's Kitchen) Second time around I've tried their beef chow fun noodles to-go. Again pricey compared to Houston prices and the noodles of their choice was 7/10. However I was content given their method of packing to-go was a nice bowl container that could be microwaved. Lastly I went there a third time to try canh chua (sweet and sour soup on their menu) and paired it with ca kho (braised fish I believe was what it was called on their menu). Neither was nothing to write home about however it was decent enough. The interior was nice and there was a bunch of people at 1pm on a Monday so I hope it continues to stay consistent or get better with everything. Happy eating!

Some of the best generals chicken I've ever had.

This is one of our families' favorite restaurants to eat in the area. You will not be disappointed with the flavors or the quantity of food they serve.

First time here, and this place is really good! If you are in corpus it's a short drive over the bride into GP area. Ordering the lo main and dumplings this was enough for 3 people to share. The portions are plentiful and the taste is great. The restaurant it self is well decorated and the staff was attentive. Really enjoyed this lunch with my family and I'll be back to try something else.

They have a recurring customer due to the prices compared to the other asian cuisine around the area.

We popped in at lunch time and were sat straight away and provided both the lunch specials as well as the regular menu, both of which you can order from. We opted for the shin ramen and pork belly, both of which came out in a flash! The shin ramen is marketed as spicy, and while it was, I could have enjoyed it with even more heat. That did not take away from the flavor though, and the generous portion of dumplings, chicken, and an egg ensured I remained full to even beyond dinner time! The broth had a good depth to it and the noodles were cooked just right. As for the pork belly, wow! I highly recommend trying it out. Somewhat "light" it feels fresh yet filling all at once. The portion is huge, so sharing between two would be a full meal for each. The menu has such a wide variety to appease any flavor palette - from sushi to filet mignon, vegetarian to gluten free, there is something for everyone. I would love to return during dinner to try out even more options, as well as the craft cocktails, all of which look delicious!

The hubby doesn't eat fish but he enjoyed all 3 veggie rolls we ordered. The yellow tail roll was also yummy. The waitress suggested the garlic edamame which was also very good. The servers were helping each other out and both were very attentive. This is a great place for a dinner out! We will definitely be returning next time in Corpus.

We were a party of 15 Guests and were there for a gathering of monthly Birthday celebrations of four Corpus Christi area Friends! We were greeted with a smile and seated promptly as an area was reserved for our party of 15. Our Waitress was "Ashley"! She was Very nice, smiled often, was very patient and extremely efficient in wrangling everyone's order. Ashley had a great attitude and was super in every aspect of her job and with everything she did. As with anything in life, her ability to effectively communicate with her Customers was Stellar. She had minor assistance from other servers and for the most part she handled our party by herself and continued to provide service to other large parties in the same room. WOW! She took our orders in a calm and effective manner and remembered all the tiny details that any table could impose on "Wait" Staff. Her poise, superb ability to communicate effectively and a Wonderful attitude made our stay a memorable one. Mistakes NONE! Complaints; some steaks had gristle on them. Really! That was a very minor issue and all agreed that it did not curb our appetite or spoil our celebration. The food was good to very good and accompanying condiments for everyone came in a quick and timely manner. Our party highly recommends this Restaurant and we keep coming back! As for Ashley, She is a KEEPER! PS: Our table gave her a round of Applause for her dynamic Customer service!
