On the occasions I've gone in, the restaurant has always appeared clean and well kept. Customer service can be a little hit or miss, which matches what some other reviewers have mentioned. I've had visits where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and others where I was simply stared at while waiting to order without so much as a greeting. It hasn't been bad enough to keep me away, but it's noticeable. The food is why I keep coming back. The bánh mì sandwiches are excellent, especially the short rib version. My wife is obsessed with the green onion pancake, and I wish I knew the recipe for the dipping sauce they serve with it. The pork belly steamed buns are absolutely worth ordering, and the crispy pork belly rice is still my favorite dish on the menu. The rich pork belly, fried rice, fresh salad, and vinaigrette all work really well together. If you haven't been, it's worth a visit. Try a few different dishes and you'll probably find a favorite of your own.

One of my favorite things was how attentive the service was. The servers never left dirty dishes on the table they were constantly clearing things we didn't need and checking in to see if we wanted anything else. Our server in particular was amazing and switched out the grill pan multiple times when it was needed, which made a big difference. I didn't get a chance to check out the bar with the extra goodies, but honestly, that was fine because the meat was so good and more than made up for it. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back.

(I chose steamed) I ordered salad which wasn't impressive but rarely is in a hibachi restaurant. As an appetizer I ordered spicy garlic gyosa ($6). It was ok, it had a lot of seasoning on it. It probably would have been better fresh and hot. I ate about half. See pics, I probably wouldn't order delivery from here again.
