Love this place so much! I hope it stays open forever! The owners and staff are amazing and are practically family now for how long my family and I have gone to this place! Over 15 years!!! The Food is always so tasty have never had ANY issues what so ever.

Why have anything else when you can have Pho?
David C.

I drive out the way 50 miles to try this place. Ok, so it was the only place within 50 miles to try but it was well worth the visit. It was easy to find. Easy to get into the well maintained parking lot and there was plenty of parking. It's in a strip mall, and the outside is plain, but do not judge a book by the cover. Walking in, I was greeted immediately. In the age of covid, there were warnings on the door about face coverings and hand sanitizer at the door. Tables were limited to provide social distancing and all of the staff were wearing masks. The smell of the cooking food was intoxicatingly delicious. My drink order was taken as I was seated at my table. I had a sweet tea which is standard here in this part of the world. For an appetizer I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls and then spied an appetizer pho. What a concept that other Vietnamese places should take note of. I LOVE pho and I almost always defer to it even if there are other items I would love to try on the menu. Because I could get an appetizer portion and try other items, I mean how could I pass this up? The pho was delicious. Others have reviewed the broth as too much this or too little of that. I thought it delicious. Every place has their own flavor and every person their own preference. I enjoy the differing variations and I was not disappointed. Because of covid the sriracha was served in a small container with hoisin. This was a perfect amount and combination for the serving size and I had plenty of basil, cilantro and mung bean sprouts. I just wished that they had an option for tripe since it is my favorite in pho. For my main course I had the Kung Pao Chicken with white rice. It was different than I expected, but as I said before I enjoy different variations of dishes and I was pleasantly surprised by this. I was well taken care of by the server and hostess staff. There was nothing I could have asked for more. The price was very reasonable for what I ordered and I was full from the ample servings. Even took some of the king pao home there was so much. I will come back if I am ever in the area again.

Been here a couple of times now and we've always been satisfied. The customer is pretty good. The lady that takes the orders is really nice and attentive. Since she's the only one that takes the orders it can slow her down. But she's fast and makes recommendations if you ask her. We've had several of their plates. Today, we had the birds nest and almond chicken. Both delicious plates. Stop by for sure if your in the area.

Ate here in passing. Good asian food on the go. Would recommend and eat here again.

Tonight's experience was the worst. My chicken was awful and looked boiled nothing like the picture. Could not even drink the water tasted as if it was filtered through a dirty diaper.

We popped in at lunch time and were sat straight away and provided both the lunch specials as well as the regular menu, both of which you can order from. We opted for the shin ramen and pork belly, both of which came out in a flash! The shin ramen is marketed as spicy, and while it was, I could have enjoyed it with even more heat. That did not take away from the flavor though, and the generous portion of dumplings, chicken, and an egg ensured I remained full to even beyond dinner time! The broth had a good depth to it and the noodles were cooked just right. As for the pork belly, wow! I highly recommend trying it out. Somewhat "light" it feels fresh yet filling all at once. The portion is huge, so sharing between two would be a full meal for each. The menu has such a wide variety to appease any flavor palette - from sushi to filet mignon, vegetarian to gluten free, there is something for everyone. I would love to return during dinner to try out even more options, as well as the craft cocktails, all of which look delicious!

The hubby doesn't eat fish but he enjoyed all 3 veggie rolls we ordered. The yellow tail roll was also yummy. The waitress suggested the garlic edamame which was also very good. The servers were helping each other out and both were very attentive. This is a great place for a dinner out! We will definitely be returning next time in Corpus.

We went on a Friday night without reservations, which felt like a gamble, but the off season timing and bad weather worked in our favor. We ended up grabbing two open seats at the sushi bar, which turned out to be the best spot in the house. Our waitress, Kaylee, was great. Friendly, attentive, and she knew the menu well. Drinks stayed full, food came out at a good pace, and she never interrupted the flow of our conversation. We started with a couple of hot apps. The pork gyoza, steamed and pan seared, was solid. But the torched wagyu stole the show. That's the kind of dish you think about later and fantasize about having again. Sitting at the bar made the experience. CJ was the sushi chef working in front of us and he brought a lot of positive energy to the night. He checked in with us, shared a few samples of rolls he was working on, and clearly enjoys what he does. It added a lot to the experience. We ordered the Stevie Ray, Rainbow Roll, Don't Fear the Reaper, and the Prodigy. Every roll was excellent. The Rainbow Roll is one of my favorite classic rolls. It's always been my go to at any sushi spot as it's simple and clean, which makes it a good test of quality, and this was one of the best I've had. The space looks great inside and has a solid atmosphere. The menu has a lot of great options, the rock and roll theme to the menu is fun, and the service continues to stand out. We'll be back. If you can grab a seat at the sushi bar when CJ is working, do it.

This our go to sushi restaurant in Corpus…read more I'm a huge critic when it comes to tempura, but theirs is perfect and even when we order for takeout, by the time we get home it still has a crunch. I usually get the Chirashi and it's the perfect amount and for the price I think it's justified. I will say though... they seem to get my husband's order wrong almost always. It's very rare they get it right and when they do, we have no problem, but when they don't... it gets kind of annoying especially when the waiter(s) repeat the order to us. He usually orders two rolls which are the Crazy Texan (spicy tuna, avocado, pickled burdock root, cucumber topped with tuna, with tuna, jalapeños, fried onions, and hot oil) and the Spicy Tuna Rainbow (spicy tuna topped with various fish). For some reason when our food gets to our table, the Crazy Texan is correct, but he always gets the Rainbow Roll instead of the Spicy Tuna Rainbow... or one time he was given just a Spicy Tuna Roll. Then we have to go through a whole debacle or calling our waiter over and having them fix this mistake. Not sure if it's a miscommunication between the waiters and the sushi chefs, but I think maybe having a paper trail would help with this problem since we noticed they almost never write down our order and just try to memorize it. Although the minor mishaps, we still return because it's one of the better places for sushi in this town full of chain restaurants.

Joseph was the bartender and upon hearing we were first time visitors and not knowledgeable about Asian food, he offered his years of experience in recommending side dishes and drinks after hearing what we like. We started with a deep fried roll that had cream cheese, chicken, and jalapeño and topped with shredded crab and a spicy mayo. They served the roll with two dipping sauces: an eel sauce and a spicy mayo. So creamy and flavorful with an array of flavors that melded so well. My husband had Mongolian beef with scallions, onions, and a garlic sauce and served with fried rice. The beef was so tender and juicy and none of that weird gristle like you find in cheap Chinese restaurants. I had teriyaki chicken and vegetables. The chicken was thin sliced white meat and there were so many different vegetables (snow peas, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, squash, carrots, baby corn, etc). It was also served with fried rice. I had a drink made with vodka, watermelon liqueur, and some other yummy ingredients. It tasted just like a watermelon skittle The servings were huge and we'll have leftovers for at least two more meals. But it was never delivered. I had to ask for a menu to confirm it was included. The server was then able to go get it. The miso soup was watered down and didn't taste like it. I didn't eat it. The crunchy long chips were smashed into crumbs (really). The salad dressing barely tasted like any ginger. The tempura was an appetizer but came out last (but before the missing food) and It was mixed. Some was overcooked with big crunchy hunks of batter. It felt like the Dennys of Japanese food. And then they charged extra for credit cards--who uses cash anymore..not for $85 in food. Too bad. The other reviews were good.
