We went here to celebrate my son's birthday. Once our order was taken it took 20 minutes to get our drinks, I had to ask the server at the 60 minute mark if the appetizers would be coming soon. At that point she went to the kitchen and our gyoza's appeared. They were excellent. At the 90 minute mark our "featured" shrimp appetizer appeared with our rolls. About 5 minutes after that my wife's curry chicken arrived. The food was excellent. However waiting 90 minutes for the food is totally unacceptable. The chef, Spaghetti Eddie, was super friendly and engaging. We love the name and idea behind it, as "Roaming Ronin" refers to a samurai with no master. It's a great way to describe this food and Eddie's creativity with the dishes. Hands down, the best spicy tuna roll I've ever had. It is non-traditional, and oh-so-good. The Suicide Edamame was delicious and was a fun take on the standard appetizer. I love the art adorning the walls, specifically the panda. Such a well thought out place. Our service was fantastic- she was very knowledgeable about the menu, popular items, and how to customize it to our preferences. We took her advice and tried the spicy tuna roll. You can watch as they hand roll the sushi and the tuna tasted fresh. The small, clean pieces showcased some impressive knife skills. We split it between two and it was the perfect appetizer at a very reasonable price. We tried the chicken fried rice and a chicken Tokyo (pictured). The flavors are different than other Asian cuisine we've had before, highlighting the Texas touch the owner has incorporated.
