The food here was GREAT!!! I love me a good Hibachi restaurant. I have no complaints. My family and I enjoyed everything that was brought to the table. The kids enjoyed everything. They said the chicken was YUMMY ! The service was great. And it didn't take too long for our orders to come out. The ambiance was perfect. The paintings/photos/decor on the walls reminded me of my time in Japan . I really enjoyed eating here for the first time. I drove down for a beach getaway. If I'm ever back on this side of town, I would definitely like to return. Thank you for great food and service. Was this review helpful? Let me know. read more

So I ordered door dash, and I'm try to be easy on reviews because it's just not the same as being in the restaurant. I order hibachi kinda often door dash because I spend a lot of nights in hotels and they make it through the delivery process pretty well. I ordered steak and salmon hibachi, medium cooked. Cooked medium was good, flavor was pretty bland. The vegetables weren't as cooked as I would like them, I barely ate them. They give you a huge portion of rice! (I chose steamed) I ordered salad which wasn't impressive but rarely is in a hibachi restaurant. As an appetizer I ordered spicy garlic gyosa ($6). It was ok, it had a lot of seasoning on it. It probably would have been better fresh and hot. I ate about half. See pics, I probably wouldn't order delivery from here again. read more

We went for dinner based on reviews . Small quaint place with inviting feel. Employees are incredible and a hard working bunch. The food was phenomenal. My hubs had the combo steak n scallops (scallops) were cut smaller but good. They give plenty of rice. I had steak n shrimp. So so.good oh my my. The steak was perfection plenty of rice but scanty amount of vegetables. Theynwere so favorable n seasoned but a scanty amount. We had spicey edaname and it was fire . Great experience, decent price and excellent customer service. Only thing is small cut up scallops n small amount of vegetables. We took a combination fried rice to go. Also excellent. Salad was small but so fresh read more

Food was delicious. Portions are big! I had plenty of leftovers. Only negative remark was that we placed our order, two items off the menu, and the 6 people who ordered after us received their food first. Inside is clean. Nice music, not my taste in music but was ok. read more

Tried this place last weekend, then went again the next day. It's that good. Consistent with flavor, place is very clean. As soon as someone got up from their table, they were bussing it and cleaning the floor. Normally it doesn't bother me when there's food on the floor, look I get it. You get busy and just have time to clean the table off, I don't stop going somewhere for that, but to take time to clean the floors is pretty great. Ordering again from here for dinner tonight. I've only eaten the hibachi combo with steak and shrimp both times and honestly, will probably get the same tonight. Yes, I'm a basic B. Go here, you won't regret it! read more

So far I've only tried the milk tea Boba. 10/10 I will be trying the food as well. This is now the #1 Boba place in town. The inside is very clean as well, and offers very unique and entertaining sumo decor! Service was also very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend. read more

Super nice place; got an order to go and the guys here were very knowledgeable and helpful. $20 for a shrimp/chicken/steak combo, and I got a small order of grilled veggies added to it. Plenty for hubby and I to share. Steak slightly chewy but good food all around. Will get better back!!! read more

I got the single hibachi with shrimp and white rice and soup. The soup was SO SO good. Soup came out quick. Food came out quick. The meal was delicious. The shrimp were slightly over cooked but not to the point where it made the meal bad. Service was friendly. Inside was cute. Definitely recommend and will come back. read more

Tried Sumo Hibachi express. my husband and I went today . My husband had the dumpling soup and he was not pleased, no flavor. Nothing special about the egg roll. I had steak and shrimp. The shrimp was good but the steak had gristle and that's a no no in my book. They sell Pepsi products and no iced tea. Would I go again? Maybe but not for a long time. read more

Absolutely delicious food y'all have to try it I highly recommend one of the best authentic food ever omg

Great food at a reasonable price. Wife and I shared hibachi combination chicken and steak, and two appetizers, egg rolls and gyoza. The total after tax was $24.90 and we were both full afterwards. The chicken was really good the steak tasted great but a few pieces were kind of fatty, but overall great taste and will go back again. read more

First time I tried this place. The man behind the counter was very friendly and had great customer service. I ordered the shrimp lo mein to go. There was a good amount of lo mein in the container. It was very flavorful and I liked the texture of the lo mein. There was a good amount of shrimp in it as well. Most importantly, the shrimp was not overcooked. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu and actually eat there. read more

Very yummy food. You order at the counter and then find your table. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and cuisine related. There was 4 of us, we sat in a booth and there was something for everyone. With tip we spent $70.00. Included are pics of everything we tried out. We will definitely go again and would recommend this to anyone who asks. read more

So I tried to call over 6 times to place a to-go order. No answer! When I got to the restaurant and asked if they had a new phone number she said they won't answer the phone if they are busy! What a terrible business plan!!! Boy, are they gonna lose a lot of business...including mine. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. We are from out of town unfortunately but if we were locals this would be our date night spot every time. The food is so delicious, everything was spot on. Extremely flavorful, cooked perfect and great portions. The prices for the food you get is crazy, they're extremely affordable and honestly with the quality of the food, it should be more expensive. The drinks there are all super yummy and hit the spot. Everyone is super nice and was quick to help with any questions we had. We got 3 appetizers, Gyoza, Edamame, and fried calamari. We got the Sumo Seafood, had lobster, shrimp, and scallops with fried rice and veggies. We also got a side order of scallops because they were so good! Super soft, and great flavor. For drinks we got the black milk tea with boba and a strawberry smoothie. Both were the best we had ever had. For the amount of food we got, the price was cheap. Highly recommend. read more

Have enjoyed take out from this restaurant twice. Both times very good. Hibachi chicken is generous with a lot of flavor. I would prefer more vegetables but still very good. They don't answer their phones. Called bout 20 times. Counter lady said phone always busy but never rang while I sat there waiting for my food. They need to fix that. read more
