Ordering online for pickup was incredibly easy and fast. The employees were cheery and professional when I came to pick up (my order was exactly on time!) I saw their dessert case and instantly wanted to try their Dubai Tart. The cashier was happy to add it to my order. I ordered the steak rice bowl, cheese wontons, and Strawberry Dubai Tart. The steak rice bowl was warm, yummy, and comforting. The wontons were crispy on the outside and creamy and delicious on the inside. The tart was light, decadent, and lightly sweet. Ramen legend is a hard to find place. The directions take you somewhere different. But when you find it. Whoa. They have food just exploding with flavor. We had several items for appetizer. We had the softshell crab bun. Then for our meal, my wife had tonkatsu ramen and I had the black garlic ramen. The softshell crab had a bunch of flavor. It was about 750 for one bun, but it was worth it big flavor in a little bite. We showed up about 15 minutes till closing and they accommodated us very well. It's a wonderful place to go for date night. It is very intimate if we were in full, we would've had dessert. Everything tasted really good and was perfect. We had the itch for ramen so we looked for somewhere close to our hotel. We found a hidden gem at Ramen Legend. We got there an hour before they closed but our food took awhile to come out. A couple Dashers came in. Well one of the guys walked out with about 10 food items to go. They were that good. I had the ramen and added mushroom. It came out full of flavor and was filling. This visit gets 5 stars because of the soft shell crab bun. It contained one whole soft shell crab and was topped with some sauces. It was an incredible combination of flavors. read more

Nice variety on the menu and the interior of the restaurant is nice. Ramen Legend is located next to Orange Theory and Salon by JC off of SPID and Staples. What we ordered: Black Garlic Ramen $14.50 - Tonkotsu based broth which was good but needed stronger black garlic flavor. The bowl it was served in was very narrow and did not feel like enough for the price. Spicy Chicken Karaage Ramen $14 - Creamy chicken broth with a hint of spice. This was my favorite ramen. It had more depth of flavor and a small kick. This was a more satifying meal but again bowl was small. Overall, this not a bad ramen place. Interior was fun with the murals and service is okay. Hubby ordered a legend roll (this is deep fried). I ordered legend bowl with fried rice instead of steamed rice. Both rolls were good just not as flavorful as we've had from another place in CC. The steak bowl was wonderful. The steak was cooked medium, so tender, and lots of big flavors. You order at the counter but they were still very attentive even though they don't really "wait" on you. Went to this little spot with my S/O and our friend, ramen isn't common where we're from so we had to eat some while we were out of town. I googled the address and google offered a service to call and ask about the wait (which is pretty convinient! and worked) and there was little to no wait time. And they were right! We were greeted right when we walked in and sat down. The place is super clean and aesthetically pleasing to look at. I love the decor. The bathrooms were also super clean, with baby changing station in the women's bathroom for those who need it. The menu had a lot of good looking things to eat, but I opted for the Shoyu Beef Ramen (added pork instead of beef), the Gyoza, a Milk Tea, and the table got Bento boxes and mochi. There offer several ramen options, poke bowls, basic sushi, and typical appetizers you see at all ramen places in the bigger cities. I kept it simple and ordered the black garlic ramen. We also tried 4 appetizers, mega pork ramen, tom yum ramen and cajun ramen. Beef chimichurri - strange item to see on the menu, but it was ok. Beef strips laying on a bed of mixed greens Teriyaki Chicken wings - the best appetizer by far, flavorful, they are on the small side though Dragon roll - like a California roll, with avocado on top, it was a little dry Cajun ramen - it was like broth from a crawfish boil but thicker, kind of strange but ok Tom yum ramen - I heard it wasn't very good Black garlic ramen - decent broth, lots of noodles, I ran out of broth quickly. Personally I feel like the toppings in the tom yum ramen were a bit strange and didnt really mesh well with the ramen dish it self. The tomato and purple cabbage in the dish didn't complement the ramen very well for me :( also wasn't a super big fan of the ramen noodles itself. When I opened the door. I heard the Japanese words" Irashaimase' which means "Welocme". Although I was in the COVID-19 pandemic, This restaurant allowed me to dine in. I practiced social distancing and handwashing. I ordered Pork Paitan(Tonkotsu). The broth was okay. The noodles were a little bit hard to chew. Overall the pork paitan was well-done. I ordered a California roll. It was good. But I checked inside. I couldn't see Japanese kyuri-cucumber. Cucumber is an essential ingredient of the California rolls. You can't miss it. The sushi tower was decently portioned and tasted good, except way heavy on the teriyaki sauce. "Ramen" was zucchini noodles as a healthier alternative and it was good. Really solid ramen for Corpus. I have only had better ramen at one place in Austin. Everything is what you'd expect from a good ramen shop. I will say the ajitama egg was pretty boozy, but I actually really appreciated that. If you're looking for good ramen, you've found it. Their signature sushi roll is a monstrosity. You're either going to love it or hate it. The boba was mushy outside and hard in the middle, but maybe it was just an off day.
