Nice apartments. I…read moream not a resident, but we toured the property to determine if we were interested. Here's what I think you should know. They have several different styles of apartments here. They have your typical apartment, which is in a larger building. These don't typically have a walk up entrance, more like shared entrances or stairs. They are also usually on 1 floor level...so you won't really see 2 story units. The buildings themselves may be multiple stories but each unit is 1. The layouts are nice and they do a pretty good job of keeping them clean. I wouldn't call these luxury apartments, but I believe they do call them that. I would consider them average. They have some nice upgrades that people like, such as stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and wood flooring. Another type of apartment here is more like a townhouse. They look like townhouses, and have their own walkup. These are usually 2 story units, and also have a small back yard. These are great for those with pets that need a small area of grass. Good for families too if you want a play area for the kids. I don't believe any of the apartments have attached garages. It seemed like it was mostly street parking and assigned parking, but I believe garage spaces are not attached and you pay extra. Worth checking out.

Lived here for a few years, and moved out a few years ago. It is fair, but honestly since they got…read moresold it has gotten less desirable. Package room is always crowded, and confuses a lot of delivery people. Have to pay for a parking pass and no one wants to pay for the premium spots that cost a lot more leaving unused parking in the lot. Had to put covers over HVAC vents on first floor for AC to reach 2nd floor in townhome in the summer. Overall not bad, but just some cut corners that become more annoying over time. Also a move out cleaning fee despite our unit reeking of dog when we first moved it.

Our New Home: Beech Pointe Apartments My wife and I just…read moremoved into Beech Pointe Apartments on the first of the month, and right away, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from our neighbors. In just one week, we talked to more people than we had in three years at our old place! The community here is incredibly friendly and diverse, which we absolutely love. Our first impression of the apartment was fantastic. I'm quite observant, so it was clear that whoever repainted the walls and ceiling did an exemplary job. The carpets and appliances were clean, there were no funky smells, and nothing was broken or missing. We were also pleasantly surprised to find nice-sized 4x4x12 storage units in the basement garage for residents to use and a beautiful pond with wildlife in the back, complete with a walk/bike path. The location is perfect! Jewel Osco, Tony's, and Valli Produce supermarkets are right down the street, and the Meineke Recreation Center, where we can do all our fitness activities, is less than half a mile away. We've already added a couple of great restaurants to our list, thanks to Sherri, one of the apartment managers, who recommended them to us. Speaking of staff, Sherri and Elli, who run the office, are fantastic. They are so down-to-earth and all-around nice people who made my wife and I feel very welcome. We also met a couple of members of the maintenance staff, Brian and Jason. Both are very friendly guys and were just in our apartment the other day taking care of two problems: the beginnings of a small hornet's nest outside our bedroom window and a faulty gas burner. They were very professional and came out right away. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our decision to move to Beech Pointe Apartments. The community, the staff, the amenities, and the location have all exceeded our expectations. I have a feeling this is just the first of many positive reviews I'll be writing in the future.

The apartments are old so not everything would be perfect, perfect so when you move in make sure you note everything down with regards to the condition. I see people not getting a return on their deposits & complaining here though I know 4-5 tenants who lived and moved out & had no complaints. You cannot get a better price & service on an apartment at the heart of Schaumburg downtown. We loved the time we were there. Excellent Staff & support. Only good things to say for the staff and apartment building. Sherry is the Best & if anything get broken or needs service they are quick to get it fixed ! If I ever rent again in Chicago Burbs, this will be the first location I will look for an apartment.

Move in was quick and easy, the leasing agents professional and nice to work with though sometimes…read moredifficult to reach due to them being busy with other new residents. I LOVE my apartment, it is spacious and clean, quiet and nicely upgraded. The units were originally built as condos so they are well insulated and quiet and I think there's cement in between the units/floors which is why the temperature remains the same and the noise is minimal to non-existent. Central A/C/heat. The HEATED garage is AWESOME in the winter and I would not have made it without it (I'm from CA). I also have heated floors (something to do with the building having it's own boiler so even the sidewalks melt snow). There is a really nice coffee machine that's complimentary and the hot chocolate is amazing but it runs out if you arrive home too late. Location is great but there is construction on the main street all the time. Mine is a short term lease so I will update this review if necessary but all leases require a 60 day notice to vacate or you pay an additional 2 months rent even if you are not residing in the unit. It's in small print and seems pretty standard from what I've seen but easy to miss and not mentioned. I'm hoping all goes as well with the move out as the move in experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to any animal loving person, as this is a very pet friendly environment. Please note there are coyotes nearby as this property is situated near the forest preserve (yes my view is really nice) so be attentive and don't let your animals go outside unattended and be watchful. I don't hear them and have never seen one but I've been told they are around. I almost forgot! Javier is the maintenance guy and is AMAZING. He usually responds the same day to any maintenance issues. Have I had one? Just my light bulbs going out on 2 different occasions and he took care of me right away. He is super friendly and actually the person who helped me make the decision to move into the building. This building is a little on the expensive side but is actually worth it to me due to the feeling of security, safe location, proximity to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, the heated floors and garage, the in-unit washer and dryer, the lack of noise from upstairs and side neighbors, and the savings from high utility bills due to insulation/construction. My wifi works well, internet is fast, cell phone reception perfect. No outside cooking smells in my unit. The leasing agents remember my name. Before I moved in I stood by the entrance and asked at least 8-10 residents if they were happy here and all said yes. I'm so happy I found this place and really love it!!! Oh, and no bugs:) My condo back home is lakeside and unfortunately I have visitors from outside regularly but never one here in the 4 months I've been here. Want a negative? The fire alarms are LOUD but they work well which may actually really be a positive. Elevators have issues sometimes but the problem is quickly resolved. I have updated this review once already and will update it again if there's anything else I would want to know as a prospective tenant:) If you are doing what I did and moving from a different state site unseen you are good at this property. I moved into a different property before this first, site unseen, lasted 3 days, then found this building. I normally would never advise doing that but you would be fine doing that here.

We've lived here for 6 months now and absolutely love it! The staff are great and very responsive…read more A special shout out to Barb in the office and Javier in maintenance who have made our first 6 months here a great experience!
