I absolutely loved my short 6 month stay at Moment. This apartment complex has become my favorite and I stayed at a previous Bozzuto apartment and they're apartments are great. I loved my spacious studio and view. The amenities here are great: my favorites are the sauna, hot tub and rooftop with pool. It's like staying at a hotel. Brandon is responsive and great. Concierge is friendly and maintenance is great. I'm sad to leave this apartment. The only cons I have are that I have to crank the AC low for it to really work and there are some small black flys spotted in my unit. Compared to Buzzuto apartments I do wish there were more events like gran and go breakfast etc but I get it with covid too. The location is great; short walk from the river, Michigan Ave and Navy Pier. read more

I've been getting a lot of inbox messages from yelpers asking why I've not done a review being the queen of checkins at this place with 105 checkins, well here you all go. I give this place a 4 star because office staff is magnificent, and the property manager, Tracy is super nice. We have always gotten 5star service from all of the leading staffs and concierge. The reason I do not give the full 5 stars, is because we had more than a few issues at the beginning of our move in. The best part is that those things were dealt with and Tracy was very accommodating and it all worked out. This is our second new high rise, and we are aware that things could go wrong and what not, but when we were across the street, at the former Streeterville / At Water, we NEVER had an issue and we were one of the FIRSTs that moved into the brand new building. We have a corner view unit and the first two-three months were very cold and frigid floors because there was no one living below us, and therefore no heat would rise to help out. We had full blast on the heater, but that did not help out at all. We walked around our apartment like the Flintstones feet (bc we had to wear triple socks). Erin Higgins was super sweet, her and Tracy accommodating us with the model below us and had their heater helping us, not sure if it makes sense but anyways that issue was solved. The rest are just problems with the heater in the Gym the winter was harsh bc we were told that the thermometer was requested by other residents to be lowered others to be higher and they couldn't accommodate every single request. Howeve, they kept it at an uncomfortable 62° for a while, making work outs uncomfortable. The other situation we had was the fireplaces on the 9th and 45th floor, including the front lobby, have not been working due to the panel getting too hot. Well we are now in the Fall and we've yet to see them on. We were told that an architecture and engineering problem was being worked on but still no results. We missed out a Winter and Spring of no fireplaces. The fire pit outside has just recently been fixed as it was months without working. They did an upgrade and add red glass around the flame area (which is such a cute feature), but the water fountain is super slow and not what we were promised. They also did built the second water fountain feature they promised at the beginning of last year, and they kept it ONLY a water feature and decided not to incorporate fire. Well I guess beggars can't be choosers. The kitchen counter top is very delicate, anything that could stain will stain immediately. So keep in hand a bleaching (none toxic) agent to solve this matter. We also had lots of problems with our toilet. They replaced and gave us two toilets bc (one time the maintenance crew did not properly install the toilet after they broke it. One thing after another. There was also the last situation where hey came up with a snake and ended up scratching the toilet ( they offered to replace it with another new one, due to timing and mess process we decided not to). You can imagine it's been hectic. They told us that the subcontractors they hired were putting caulk or something down the drain that caused a lot of toilets to back up. I must warn you about the noise that will come into your apartment bc the door gap is big and the walls are paper thin. You can practically hear everything out in the hall and when you share walls with a neighbor. Another thing that we were not happy about, but have learned to manage and live with, is the kitchen area gets too hot after just a few minutes of cooking. The top of the microwave and handle get too hot, scalding hot, just after having something on the stove for a brief moment. Als causing our spices to go bad before their time bc the cabinets get too hot as well. read more

They're okay. There's a lot of things I loved and a lot of things I really disliked. Sales: awesome Concierge: awesome Maintenance: awesome Finance: meh Gus, Takara, and Ariana were so great! They helped us move in and then helped us transfer apartments without issues. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. I've seen them kindly answer to even the angriest customers complaining about parking which has nothing to do with them or residents who complain or just want to talk. The maintenance team is knowledgeable and fast in their work. They're super kind and tidy up very well too. The whole setup using technology and having modern amenities with awesome views and the rooftop pool is great. Gym is okay but the hot tub is huge it's beautiful and usually pretty open. The units were a bit pricey pre-COVID but you get what you pay for imo. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the charges we received for our transfer and our departure. Other than that we had a great time and had only great times there. read more

After living in Aurora, IL, for over 3+ years, I finally decided to move to the city for a much better work commute. Before contacting Moment, I looked at a few other options. While others apartment buildings in the downtown area may have been competitive in floorplans, the customer service level was a miss. Thankfully I reached out to Moment, and their leasing team's customer service was prompt and unmatched. I work 12hr shifts, which makes it hard to schedule in-person touring. Hannah, their office manager, sent me videos that helped me pick the right floor plan, and Kelly was very knowledgeable about the different window views. I highly recommend Moment and look forward to joining the community! read more

Just wanted to update my review to address any concerns regarding construction. Amenities were finished as of December 30th, 2016. Any hardcore construction work is completely done, and it's no longer a factor for prospective residents. I personally understood when I moved in that this was a new building that was finishing construction, so those things never bothered me (even though I work at home.) This means it's not as hard to get the elevator secured for move-in either. I'd also like to note that I didn't have any elevator issues, and I moved in during the height of construction phase. ON LIVING HERE: Still fantastic. EVERY new building has all kinds of things happen the first year, but for my wife and I, these things were handled without a hiccup, and I didn't really notice a problem until they were already fixed. I've had maintenance come by to fix a sliding door once (done in a few hours) and make the water a bit hotter (handled quickly as well.) So, seriously. Great building, great staff, great neighborhood, fully happy. read more

I have been in my apartment for 4 months and want to share my experience with anyone wanting to live here now given they have raised their prices tremendously. This building has the loudest noises you will hear and paying luxury prices for it is an absolute joke. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing (even walking) and in the leasing agents' own words "our walls are paper thin". After 4 months of constantly asking them to fix the issues of noisy neighbors, their resolution was to start ignoring me. I'm writing this review after 30 exchanged emails with their staff and countless calls. Which clearly shows their commitment to anyone living here. They do not care about residents, at all. Pick any other luxury building in the neighborhood which actually listens to its residents and cares about them. read more

What a terrible experience. I'm looking to lease an apartment. I enter my information on their website to schedule a virtual tour, which is the only option due to COVID. I wait til the next week, no response. I speak with a representative on their website chat option. They tell me someone will contact me to schedule my tour. Nothing. I called the office and they take my information for a call back. Nothing. I chat again the next day and she says sees my virtual tour request. She tells me their schedule is 10-4 M-F. Its about noon, so I agree to 4pm when I'm done with work. She is unsure how the virtual tour works, she just instructs me to talk to the leasing rep at 4. I get an email confirming someone will contact me. It also reminds me of the social distancing/mask use guidelines (though they specifically said in-person tours are not allowed). The leasing rep sends me an email at 2:30 asking my budget. Then he calls me at 3:00 while i'm still working. I call back at 3:30 but he stepped out. He calls me at 4:45 when I'm in the shower. I call back 2 minutes later and he stepped out. The woman taking the message was condescending and seemed annoyed because I asked why this process is so difficult. I ask if he steps out often. She stated "Uh, he's a leasing agent, he has to show apartments." She asks if I still want a call back. I reluctantly agreed. The leasing agent calls back. Again, I ask why this is such a difficult process. He tells me they smoothly perform many virtual tours and doesn't know why I'm having issues. Then he tries to argue that called me twice and I never answered (at the wrong times). I ask if he could at least apologize. He finally says, "I'm sorry you had such a difficult time, so do you still want me to send you the virtual tour?" The virtual tour is an email with a video attached. All that for a video. EVERY other apartment building I've looked at was an amazing process with in-person viewing the same day. read more

Just renewed a few months ago for my 4th year (been here since it opened). Top notch everything and you can't beat the location next to the lake. Pool is the best in city. Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, AMC theater all within a couple blocks. Red Line is 8 minute walk and if you're taking the bus to the Loop for work in the morning it's empty when you get on since it's coming from Navy Pier. Some of these reviews are hilarious people complain about anything (go buy a house if you don't like apartments) or don't understand amenities are part of your contract whether they are open or not ha. read more

As I was sitting out the patio of foxtrot (which is right below your building) someone decided to throw debris out the window which proceeded to hit and splash all over us. When we reported it to your door staff they told us it didn't matter and they could not do anything about it. We were honestly lucky the debris did not hit us directly as it could have injured any one of us. Poor front door staff. They told us it was not their issue. Horrible customer service and lack of care for what happens to the people around them. read more

The team, especially Lorelei Villa checked day to day--to ensure I was able to lock in a rate that worked for my budget. Moment is all brand new and from the time I walked in the sales office down the road I knew this was the building for me. I just wanted to express to you how impeccable Takara Bard is! She helped me and my boyfriend find an apartment this past Saturday. She completely understood what we were looking for and was never pushy. As a resident for the past 5 months, I wanted to write a review for those considering moving into the building. Move in! 1. Management. The management and staff in Moment are top-notch! Anytime I have had issues, Tracy, the property manager, has addressed them immediately and is very responsive to resident's needs. For example, other buildings in the surrounding area were coming in to use our new dog walk (which is awesome if you have a dog) and she had a keypad added onto the outdoor entrance for safety to ensure only residents are accessing the dog walk. Another example of the excellent management is listening to small requests, such as adding landscaping to the 10th floor terrace boxes, adding new kettle bells and gym equipment to the gym, and enforcing guest limits at the pool during the summer. The door staff and maintenance are the best I have had. The door staff are friendly and will help you get packages any time of the day or night. Other door staff I have had in previous downtown buildings will act as if it is an inconvenience to retrieve packages or help you out - not at Moment! The door staff not only help me with retrieving packages, but then help me carry up the boxes to my front door! Wow! Maintenance is just as good. I have had a couple of lock-outs since moving in, and maintenance is fast and, again, does not act like it is an inconvenience to get a key and let me in. Anything small that I have needed repaired in my apartment, such as a little piece of wood on the molding, or a light-bulb replacement, has been done the same day requested. 2. Apartments There are a lot of apartments in Streeterville. The modern finishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, keyless fob entry, etc. are absolutely beautiful. Whenever I have friends over, they are very impressed. 3. Landscaping and Amenities The amenities at Moment are the best! Whether you want to chill on top of the 45th floor pool deck, relax in the pool-sized hot tub after a vigorous work-out in the well-appointed gym, or grill out on one of the many grills throughout the property, there is always a nice spot to chill outside your apartment too. The grounds are very well-maintained, with freshly laundered towels in the gym, the sanitary wipes are always full, clean paper towels and toilet paper in the locker rooms, etc. Management is always organizing cool events going on for residents! There is free yoga and meditation classes, free cooking demonstrations, and meditation on the 45th floor roof-top. I love how unique the events they plan are! 4. Holidays My experience has been that the summer holidays were a little crazy at Moment, due to the nice amenities. This is probably the only down-side I have seen so far, but management has made changes to their enforcement policies for guests using the hot tub and pool, so it hasn't been as bad after the Fourth of July weekend. 5. Overall Overall, Moment is an excellent place to live in Streeterville. I have seen other buildings located just a block away, and Moment's amenities and staff FAR exceed these other buildings for comparable prices. If you are considering where to live in Streeterville, I HIGHLY recommend moving to Moment over the competition!!! Yes, there are other nice apartments in the neighborhood, but Moment is brand-new, and the excellent management and staff are superb. read more

This building knows how to take care of their residents. I have lived in 6 high-rises in Chicago and the property manager Tracy at Moment is one of the best. She treats her residents with the highest regard, and ensures her staff does the same. The leasing office will always wish you good day by name when they see you roaming the halls. We love the location of Moment and its proximity to grocery stores, local restaurants, and parks. This is a relatively quiet neighborhood with plenty to offer within a couple blocks. Almost everything you could want can be found within 3-5 blocks. Larger one-bedrooms are located on the lower floors, but the smaller one-bedrooms are higher up and have wonderful views of the lake. Moment is a new building currently under construction, and the dust/new construction smell still lingers throughout the building. Construction is ongoing from Monday - Saturday 8 am - 4 pm. Several of the amenities are not yet available (media room, dog spa, etc.). Hot water took a day or two to resolve, and you still have to run the water for 2 minutes before it heats up. Be warned that if you are trying to move in, construction has priority for the freight elevator during their work hours from 8 am - 4 pm Monday - Saturday. They will try to encourage you to move in after 4 pm on a weekday or on Sunday. Coordinate carefully before you sign the lease and have the freight elevator reserved before you sign. All other new residents will also be trying to move in Sunday, and last Sunday, the freight elevator was broken. That left several movers and residents scrambling to fit their larger items into the passenger elevators. We had a wonderful experience with the leasing team, especially Erin. Maintenance is very responsive and completes work orders within a few days. However, we have had very disappointing experiences with the building management. They were unhappy that we did not move in on a Sunday and pushed us to delay our move, despite our lease terms and their unwillingness to change the move-in date on the lease. They are unorganized and will leave out details on the lease, such as an additional $100 for an extra keyfob and fail to mention that the keyfob is limited access. While Moment has a lot of potential, it needs a lot more work before we consider recommending this place to friends/co-workers. read more

This is a beautiful building, and the amenities are very nice. As a resident for two years, I feel I am in a good place to give an honest review. We have mail and packages lost all the time and the management has still not been able to fix my package notification due to some weird email glitch. This winter I had a pair of shoes left in the hallway taken and thrown away. I later find out that management was notified of this by another resident and it was not brought to my attention. Visitors can come right to our unit and pass right through security without being stopped. When we complain we never hear anything back. Most recently we made complaints about pot smoking on our floor and nothing has been done about it when it's a smoke-free building. When we make maintenance requests multiple times, we are told they left voicemails and we didn't return them but we never have messages! This past weekend the pool was covered in beer cans and smelled and this is family friendly building. Overall management is non responsive and service needs to be improved. read more

Wish yelp had 0 star rating! Ever since our move in we have never had a single good day here! when we moved in, the guy who showed us the building, didn't even let us know how the parking operates in here. it is a mess, every time we get there we have to spend 20 minutes to find an empty spot. The building has out sourced the parking management to a third company and they deny any responsibility. Concierge here is the rudest! They are horrible and empty of any social and communicational skills! We had a party on a Saturday night, we just had a number of our friends in our apartment and we were just talking. At 9 PM on a Saturday night the concierge called 911 on us!!! Like they are dealing with criminals. I emailed the building manager Tracy and she has been ignoring me for a week and not replying back to my emails. This is how they manage issues in their building! I wish I could find a way to get the hell out of this horrible place!!! read more

Disappointed at the accommodations of this building. I came to visit a friend and they wouldn't allow us in the pool because there were 3 guests instead of 2. I guess you can only have one guest at a time. For a luxury building like The Moment I would not have expected this to the guests of residents, very disappointed. read more

My biggest priority when finding a new building was the pool. Pool at Moment was great at the beginning of the summer. 2 guests per unit, which I understand. However, they have now begun enforcing a rule that you cannot leave your chair for more than 10 minutes or they take your stuff! I don't know about other people, but on a hot summer day I definitely will spend longer than 10 minutes cooling off in the pool and expect my stuff to be there when I return to my chair to layout. Although the job is probably difficult, the woman enforcing this was incredibly rude. I watched a girl retrieve her stuff that was taken and when she turned around to return to her chair she very unintentionally brushed the staff woman's arm. The staff woman yelled at the resident that she was pregnant as if she intentionally pushed her or something. It was odd. The girl ignored her and returned to her chair. She then went over to the girls chair to confront her AGAIN. I couldn't hear what was said. The way the staff woman tried to escalate the situation was concerning. Pool here used to be my favorite spot. Not anymore. read more
