Out of all the bars I have been to in Midland, I think Buffalo Nickel has the best selection of whiskey especially. I am not a huge whiskey aficionado but I have heard from ones that this is the place to go. I am more of a tequila and beer guy and they have everything I want. The unique thing about this bar is that the back patio is smoke-friendly. I am guilty of wanting some nicotine after some drinks so this is a great place for me. They have all the drinks you expect from a bar including some slushie drinks that would be great for hot days. Last call is 1:45AM so it definitely seems like one of the only places to go for late nights in Midland. They had karaoke when I went there with not too many people partaking so if you want to sing you will be able to get to quickly and with multiple turns. It was really easy to talk to everybody there.
