Very nice pub with a great atmosphere. The servers were all helpful, the food was delicious. We had the pot pies and a delicious salad. My favorite part was building a whiskey flight with smaller pours at 50% of the price. Very large selection and reasonably priced pours! I'll be back every time I'm in Midland! read more

My fiancé and I have been here before and have had great service but not this time. We came in to cool off from being in the heat, also to enjoy some snack foods and drinks. We sat down and one waitress only served us our first waters and drinks then we didn't see her after getting the drinks. We ran out of the drinks we had and about 15 minutes later we finally were asked by a different waitress if we needed anything. We ordered some snacks and more waters and didn't see the other waitress return either. They finally came out of the back but after that never once checked on us but kept tending to every other table inside and outside but us. We had to ask one of the bar tenders ourselves to help us get our check to us for us to pay. It was disappointing and frustrating. read more

Ugh! Used to be good. The guy behind the bar was doing his best to stay on top of things, but the rest of the wait staff was just not with it. The food was sub par at best. Ordered a pot pie, it was very runny not creamy at all and the chicken bites breading was soggy, not crispy. Giving 2 stars instead of one only because the bartender was doing his best. read more

Not bad! The place is very well decorated and has a great selection of whiskies. I had a couple of pints of Guinness. The first one was poured pretty well, with the bartender allowing it to settle before finishing off the final pour. The second one wasn't poured well at all, with about 1" of foam/head. I ordered the shepherds pie, although it tasted great, I felt like it was too heavy on the mashed potato topping and not enough meat filling below. With a few tweaks and training, this place could be a great. Also, the second bartender that couldn't pour a good Guinness needs to limit his cell phone usage when working. read more

I'll start by saying the first time we came it was just drinks. The ambience is chill, not over crowded, the seats are incredibly comfortable and the music plays in the background, not blaring. Mood lighting, laid back and all of the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and on the move. You will not be sitting for long without attention. You can clearly tell, a lot of pride was put into this place. At first glance the food menu looks minuscule BUT After ordering the caprese bagel, chicken and wild rice soup and Shepard pie, you will quickly understand why there aren't 100 different food options. What they offer is enough and absolutely delicious. Midlands best kept secret, as of now. If you're looking for a place to have a business meeting, chill with friends on the weekend or even have a family lunch/dinner, this is it. We visited today and ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, as well as eggs Benedict. The scrambled eggs were made from powdered eggs, similar to what you'd get for breakfast at a Holiday Inn. The bacon was also similar--if not identical--to what they offer at HI. How hard or complicated is it to crack two eggs and cook them? Very disappointing. After this, we probably won't be back. read more

I had high hopes for this place but I'm a little let down. The bar selection seems decent but the food is lacking. The menu needs some attention in my opinion. I think that they can bring things together if there were fish and chips and maybe a pub style burger or sandwich available. They have a BLT available but the bacon needs to be higher quality if that's going to be the only sandwich available. I almost feel like the place lacks identity. Is this an English pub or an Irish pub? I think it's a great addition to the area and would love to see it succeed. I feel like a few tweaks would benefit this place for sure. read more

The food was fantastic here- the Scottish Burger Bombs were a delicious appetizer along with the spinach & artichoke dip. My friends really enjoyed the Bangers & Mash (a half order seemed plenty for 1 person if you get an appetizer), and I loved my Shepherd's Pie. Great service all night too, good ambiance and location. read more
