One of my favorite things about traveling for work is discovering little gems I never would've found otherwise. While in Middleton, Wisconsin, I stopped into The Regal Find -- and ended up spending way more time inside than I planned (in the best way). This charming shop is filled with handmade jewelry, local art, vintage treasures, and unique gifts from over 125 U.S. artists, all tucked inside a historic building! Every corner felt thoughtfully curated, and I loved just wandering and taking it all in. If you appreciate supporting artists and finding one-of-a-kind pieces, this is absolutely the kind of place you could spend a while exploring! I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet! The holidays are approaching and The Regal Find is THE PLACE to go if you're in need of a gift. Soaps, jewelry, dolls, pillows, cards, posters, coasters (intentional rhyme), hair accessories, beer accessories, books, candles, and more. You can't go wrong for picking something out for a loved one here, but what's even cooler about The Regal Find is that the items in the store are from local artists. The staff is kind and enthusiastic about the products that are sold there and they are willing to help you find anything that you're looking for. *to the tune of "My favorite things" from Sound of Music* When it's winter, when the weather sucks when I'm feeling sad I simply remember the things at regal find and then I don't feel so bad! necklaces from local artists, and soap from alaska unique birthday cards and and fun smelling candles my purchases packaged with pretty strings these are a few or my favorite things! ok well that's enough of that and the end of my career as a songwriter... but seriously! This place is awesome. Especially all the creative and original jewelry. I want to get a new pair of earrings or necklace every time I go there. Lost of cool items for birthday gifts. I'll admit, I was pulled in here for an event, and probably wouldn't have stopped in otherwise. I don't usually find myself in a shop like this, with lots of personal crafts, but man am I glad I did. The regal find is a great combination of local artist productions and vintage "finds" from the area. Within minutes I had picked up an awesome blue and red giraffe toy for my nephew, knitted by a lady down the street in an assisted living facility-- the craftsmanship was fantastic , the toy was super cool, and it was amazingly affordable! From art to jewelry, from towels to soaps, hidden in small drawers or on display you will find something for someone you love. The gals that run The Regal Find are always chipper and fun. At the holidays it's like stepping back in time. They beautifully hand wrap gifts and host crafting parties in the store. What stood out to me was that Jessica helped me pick out necklaces for my bridesmaids, and several months later remembered me and asked about the wedding.
