That meant so much and seriously took the stress out of trying to track it down. When I came in, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about music and about making sure customers leave happy. They made the whole experience feel personal instead of just another transaction. The new comics are displayed display well at the back of the store surrounded by the more recent books and then the nice selection of back issues. The area around the counter has the cool collectibles, some statues and other goodies. I like the old collectible comic related drinking glasses. Then you resurface into the shelving of Manga, graphic novels, toys and Funkos. Up front there are some display cases full of older collectible comics and a rack of t-shirts. Check out the pics. I was talking to one of the employees and they said that they have six local writers/artists/creators coming in for free comic book day this Saturday and John will have his convention stock broken out and set up. Then the shoes gave me athletes foot but I deserved that. Huge selection of metal CD's but I was surprised that the same dude who sold me super cheap Motorhead shoes had no idea who Insurrect was (local metal rips). There was a lot of other regional stuff though (Homostupids, Guns) and the stoner metal section was worthy of many bong rips. Worth the drive from the west side at least once a month.

I went here to check a small business owned by a black female and was greeted with a variety of…read moreshops. Which was cool. Very cool location. When I walked in, the cashier told me that the record shop was upstairs. When I went up there, I was able to see the variety of music pieces available for sale. The value appeared to be great but I haven't purchased a record in a while, so my thoughts could be skewed there. But I loved the record I purchased (Aaliyah) so it was well worth my money! Parking can be a little hectic there. But there is a parking garage (you have pay for it) at the next building over on the same block.
