While traveling for business I always try to check out local music stores and I have to say that I'm very impressed with The Exchange, they had records and CDs that I'd been looking for, for some time. When Disney started streaming, I didn't have a lot of hope for this franchise. I don't live near Cleveland Avenue but I was visiting Canton for a 5K and I've hit many Exchange locations since 1993 and not just in Ohio. This location is bigger than it would appear from the road. The Exchange has embraced a lot more than music and movies and I did well here with a trade too. I was told by an employee that this location is the 4th largest. Bonuses included comic books, toys, a huge collection of Rolling Stone magazines and plenty of fun specialty items (like Funko POP) that would be great to decorate your home office or hangout with. read more

I was on a pretty specific quest for vintage vinyl records today. I had stopped by the neighboring Quonset Hut (no longer sells vinyl) and they suggested I stop by the Exchange. Wide selection of CD's, but all the way in the back, a fairly impressive selection of vinyl. They had exactly what I was looking for. I had a little sticker shock as the first Vinyl LP was priced at $22 (the one next to the one that I wanted...it happened to come out first). But then the one that I was looking for was only $3. What a deal. Staff was friendly (greeting on the way in), and got me checked out and on my way in no time. read more

My all time favorite movie store. I don't live in canton, I live 2 hour away but i have few family live there, and whenever I'm in town, I'll always stop by this store and buy over $100. They have a lot of old movies and etc. They also have new movies too. read more

Great pricing and the staff is very helpful. One time I went in and was buying a record of the Original Star Wars Sound Track to use as wall art in my man cave and because the record itself was slightly broken they gave it to me for free. read more

Worst place ever!!!! Traded in some movies and only got 5$ for all. Had like 6 movies and they sold the exact same moves for 15$ more

Very friendly staff. I took some old LP's to see what I could get for them. The appraiser, who is probably younger than my kids, had a vast knowledge of some of my more obscure music. We had a great chat while he sorted through the albums. Plus, I got more than I thought I would for them. If I was into gaming, I'd probably hang out here. read more

Great customer service. Friendly and very helpful. Employee's appearances a little surprising (tattoos, piercings, interesting haircuts, etc.) Can you tell I'm from the older generation? However, if you look at these individuals for their knowledge, professionalism and heart you will find a great bunch of employees who seem to love what they do, and are very informed about the inventory. They go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for. I 've been a customer at the Exchange for over 3 years and do not intend to go elsewhere. Most other places of business could certainly use some lessons from these folks on true customer service. read more
