Great store for finding lots of books! Great sections for kids books too! Cafe has comfortable tables and chairs! It also has soft cushions chairs for extra comfortable seating! Staff are very helpful and polite! Prices are generally reasonable! The store is massive and contains a high variety of items to browse through! We have been here many times and uyfind the right gift or items to purchase . Store is on the end of a large area of stores known as the strip! We highly recommend shopping here we often shop here and in the area! Just off I77 and has a many fabulous restaurants along the road that parallel the freeway! I think this used to be Barnes and Noble, or Borders....can't remember which, but I haven't been in here for years. I was glad I came. It was a little less cozy than the aforementioned stores (No "nooks" to curl up and read and no cozy corner armchairs or anything like that.) That said, the staff is friendly and the selection is great. The prices seem to be around the same ballpark as I remember B &N being, but a few decent discounts throughout the store. read more

Great service if you are looking for something specific. Two very nice staff people helped me find books I was looking for. They were very apologetic when they didn't have one type of book but encouraged me to try online Unfortunately, feel slightly hornswoggled at check out. They told me all the benefits of being a member, but forgot to mention the $25 cost! I thought it was like getting another rewards card! FREE! Nice coffee shop and places to sit. read more

I met some friends at Books A Million to begin a new book club. We sat in the cafe and had a wonderful time. My friends enjoyed their drinks and we had a wonderful time. No one bothered us or tried to kick us out, which I have experienced in other book store cafes. On my way out, I purchased our book of the month and was greeted with such kindness from the cashier. I also got a wonderful discount for being a teacher by being able to join their incentive program. I got the book for 40%, which was amazing! They even offered discounts for non teachers and other non members. Their book selection is great and their prices are affordable. It is nice to see a book store around that is still thriving! read more

This place has replaced my wife's beloved Border's. I thought it would be quite different from Border's but it really looks about the same. It still has the 2 things that I really liked about Border's: a great selection of books and a quiet cafe to drink coffee and read. I think the prices are pretty good but Amazon is probably still cheaper. My wife is still sad that Border's is no longer here but I think this place is just as good. read more

The Restroom needs to be repaired and the sink is nasty and the coffee lounge area is super dirty, the Carpet by the wind needs to be ripped up and replaced. So much dust everywhere and needs to be vacuumed up and mopped thoroughly. They should clean up around the clock. read more

Best book store around. I always find more than what I'm looking for. Every time I go in I find a new book I want to read, multiple books actually. I remember once they sold one I wanted & they were able to look it up and order a copy for me. Very peaceful friendly nature environment as well. read more

With Barnes and Noble closing 30% of their shops, I am assuming large bookstores like this will see a bit more traffic. It's not a replacement at all for a good, small bookstore but it's still good to have a place The BAM selection is generally the same as B&N though the place doesn't feel as well laid out. Staff are about as helpful as any large bookstore... which is to say that their knowledge is good up to a point. Coffee shop seems nearly pointless because they're just across from a Starbucks. read more

Really enjoy the selection of gifts and books, the coffee is good overall at Joe Muggs cafe and there are always good discounts available and new releases are easy to find. Store also has a nice selection of Christian and other religious Bibles and books for all. Legos, records, geek gifts, comics, store has a bit of everything. Store does not feel stuffy and silent like an old school library, for those looking for a library, we have those in town. read more

Place is VERY similar to Barnes and Nobles although the layout is a bit different. They have books, games, dvds, and lots of knick knacks and "fandom" stuff. They have a decent comic book, graphic novel section. I was a bit dissapointed that their children section wasn't split up or as easily identifiable from the rest of the store. When I went, they were having some deals which I thought were better than B&N. "Buy 2 get 1 free" on certain childrens books, "Buy 2, get free water bottle" on Sarah Dessen, $6+ on hardcover classics (which I though was fabulous) just to name a few. They do have a coffee shop inside the bookstore. The serve only coffee and pastries (espresso, fraps, etc) and don't have any refreshing drinks so unfortunately I had to walk to Starbucks across the street. If I was in the mood for coffee, it would've been fine. Their selection isn't the largest but it's a decent bookstore. read more

This was my first time here (8/10/16) and while it looks just like Borders, it definitely is not. The selection of books was terrible, especially in the New Age section. With the bargain books, the majority were children's books, coloring books and junk. My husband bought a book and some magazines, but I didn't care for this store. I'm an avid reader, but I'll shop elsewhere: B&N or Amazon. read more

Store is great. Its needed in the area. Coffee shop help is annoying, loud and must be deaf because all they do is talk loud and annoy u to death. Not a great place to study but not much in the area so ur stuck. Oh and they hit u up for $20 annually for internet access. Skip this place go across the parking lot to starbucks. read more

If I could give it ZERO Stars I would! The cashier workers are very rude! Tried to use a coupon that Books a million sent me in my email and they gave me all kind of problems with a 15% coupon and was very rude, so I just left the book and never went back. I spend too much money on books in a bookstore and now I won't spend one red cent in this store. Just went into this BAM for the first time since it switched from Borders over to Books A Million. I couldn't even tell it was a different store. It still has the same layout, same selection, and same prices. Other Books A Million I have been in have not been as nice as this one. I found some good deals and had good service at the register. While it is nice to have a bookstore to go to, I avoid going to this store. The selection is OK but my biggest pet peeve is the check out. The salespeople are very annoying. They bombard you with trying to sell you everything! Magazines, frequent customer cards or books on sale. After telling them no 4 times, the clerk just kept on pressuring customers with these offers. I have been there about 5 times since it changed from Borders, and it happens every time.Very annoying! I try to support stores, but Amazon is so much easier. read more

The cafe, while meant to be a quiet place to read your new purchase, it is not the case at this location. The staff, including the store manager were very noisy and distracting while and while not waiting on customers. In the 15 minutes i could stand to stay there, were several times employees would crowd around the counter and even had an argument. Just now as I'm writing this, the store manager yells across the cafe at an employee. Don't expect to find it easy to focus on reading here. read more
