She used a calculator and calculated my price manually and said the total came up to be $19.75. Huh interesting, on the menu it was $17.95 and I chalked it up to tax. As the total came up, I saw the tip options. I ordered takeout so normally I hit 0 tip but interestingly enough, there is no 0 option when you are first presented tipping options. I had to click Other and manually type in 0. When I did that, she gave me the stink eye and felt like I was being judged. I received my receipt and to my surprise the total cost came up to $20.34?? Excuse me? There was a credit card surcharge of 3% applied? I wasn't made aware of this surcharge when I ordered. Why are we expected to pay this cost? This should have been covered on the business side. If you are going to order from this place be sure to track the cost of what you are ordering.
