Quickly seated despite crowd, which made us happy! Fish and chips reportedly best in the nation...I can't agree with that about the chips, which were average, but the fish was fabulous! I scheduled a surprise party for my husbands 30th birthday party with the bar manager, Kim. She was extremely helpful and prompt with her responses. The waitresses Jenn & Karley were absolutely AMAZING! We had a large party and they both made sure everyone was getting the best service. One of them went above and beyond and out of her way to make sure we all took a group photo which I am so thankful for otherwise I would of forgot. The food, band, and drinks were 100/10!!! We visited for lunch Friday. The fish & chips was nearly perfect from chips to slaw, but especially the fish. The batter was crisp and golden. They were a little short staffed, but unless you're an expert, you would never have known it. The servers were hustling and the service was excellent. Highly recommended! We had a bit of a time finding this place but it was well worth it! I had read on yelp about their "happy hour" menu. My husband ordered the small fried haddock platter. I asked about their happy hour food menu. The waitress hesitated and said they weren't serving the haddock nuggets for $5.50 because they didn't have some of the sauces (?). Okay, I'll find something on the regular menu. However, she came back and said "the chef said he can do the haddock bites". I was happy! I ordered a happy hour Chardonnay and my husband ordered a miller lite. We were in town for just a weekend getaway. When we return to Naples in the future we will surely return to this establishment. Stopped in for a few drinks. Social distancing in full effect here. Our bartender was great and really knowledgeable about making different drinks. We wanted sangria and he definitely delivered in his own unique way which was great, because it had his own little touch and was green! Just adding the the Irish touch. I was very impressed with the Waitress by the of Taylor,she was very out going. It's a Pleasure to see young people working and not marching in protestor things they know nothing about. We're regulars and usually have a good experience, not the case yesterday. After Hurricane Ian, we decided to support this local pub and have a late lunch. After waiting 10 minutes at our table, my husband had to get up and interrupt the waitresses chatting together by the door to ask for service. One finally came by to leave menus without saying a word. We waited another 5 minutes for another waitress to take our order--the waitress who served us was actually very sweet and attentive. We understand we all just been through the hurricane, but our experience yesterday was very disappointing. We assumed management must not have been around because the waitresses/hostesses hanging near the entrance chatting were annoyed that we disturbed their personal conversation to ask for service. Wass sooo hungry and they only place open after midnight around the area was this pub. We decided to give it a try, it looked like it was popping with dj and all. They have inside and outside dinning and a huge selection of beers from the UK. I decided to order the taco platter and the flatbread pizza (Margherita style). The tacos were good but the pizza was soo salty. A friend of mine ordered one of there signature platters that is a fried pretzel with cheese, including a spinach dip. They were satisfied with there selection. Our server brought out our food at a decent time and the food was okay for me. I did not try there beers but most likely if i do come back it would be for that and not the food. The crowd was pretty young and the whole area is pretty live with many clubs and bars. read more

I've been a patron of The Pub for a few years and consistently have a great time there. The Pub is a perfect balance of a young "club adjacent" atmosphere and a slower more traditional bar-like experience. My perspective comes predominantly from the after 9pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday crowd, so this review is from that angle. The employees are all warm and inviting, including the security staff, Drew and Imran. They run a tight ship that keeps enough order to provide everyone the means to have a good time safely, without over-policing responsible fun. The bartenders take care of you quickly and don't skimp on the drinks, which are priced very reasonably. The dance floor and DJ are well utilized providing a more active experience if that's what you're looking for, but without overtaking the bar for those who just want to kick back with some drinks. There's also an outside area which is great if you come with a group. The place is consistently pretty clean which is also a huge plus in my book. The Pub is a great time year round, with the off season feeling more casual and the on season (especially holidays) being the exact right amount of chaotic safe fun. The clientele tends to skew younger (20 somethings), but it's not uncommon to see people of all ages having fun at The Pub. As long as you're not looking for a "melt-your-face-off" kind of rave club, you really can't go wrong. Personally it's my favorite generalist bar in the area, highly recommended. read more

The first night I went I had the best fish and chips I've ever had (even better than UK visits). I went back for a second time and the fish and chips weren't so great (a little soggy/undercooked) but I think it was close to the kitchen closing and they were rushing out orders. First off, The Pub has the best fish and chips I've ever had! So good. I use to go to The Pub up in Ohio where I'm from and hoped that this one would have the same caliber food and they do, maybe a bit better down here actually. I always love their fun atmosphere and really nice staff, they seem like they really enjoy working there. If you're going for a pint make sure to see what local beers they have on rotation, the Belhaven Scottish Ale is really good too, I haven't seen that one at very many restaurants. If cocktails are your thing, I like the Pub Old Fashioned, or the Pimms Cup is really good too. read more

The Pub is a great place to go on a balmy night in Naples. Located in The Mercato and next to the movie theatre, The Pub has a fantastic atmosphere, both inside and out. I prefer the patio, great to sit back and watch the world go by. They have great food, drinks and service. Took some out of town friends here for dinner. We were 4 adults and 6 kids. Ordered the ahi tuna tacos. Huge disappointment. No flavor. We also ordered the beer cheese appetizer but it came with the meal and when we brought it up the waitress said we did not specify to bring it out first. Well, we assumed since it was an appetizer we did not need to specify. Our table was never cleared, we were never brought water unless we asked. Also the wedge salad was DRENCHED is dressing. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Had to change this to 5 stars because I came back on a SUPER busy night and James was unbelievable in his ability to manage an incredibly busy restaurant while managing customer satisfaction. We really liked their beverage menu because it explained a lot about beers and whiskey's/bourbons. They have many different kinds so it was good to have this information. I've always loved the pub, but have lost all faith in them during Covid. They imply no social distancing rules. On top of that, they still charge a cover. Given the economic climate, businesses should be doing anything they can to get customers in the door and keep them safe. The pub is doing the opposite - requiring clients to pay cover for an average dj, then taking limited precautions once customers get inside. I will not be back and will no longer recommend it to visitors. read more

I made the mistake of coming to this pub. I live in Naples and have seen the steady degradation of both food quality and especially the service. First and foremost I arrived a a single seater at about 6:30pm and was only attended to around 7:00pm. I ordered th bangers and mash of which the mash was a few days old and simply warmed up. My waitress was absolutely disinterested in me a a customer and paid attention only to the larger tables. I had to ask the person who attends to seating to get me some Tabasco. I asked the waitress for this over 30 minutes ago and now at 7:30 she returns with nothing in hand and no apology for forgetting. I think this place is going to shit because of the availability of excess money in this town. Not to come back soon or ever. So sad these restaurateurs abuse their customers when all is going well but cry for support when the proverbial shit hits the fan. No sympathy, you guys suck. read more

A few days back my husband and I had dinner here and we loved it. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant, the ambience is fun and lively, and the food was perfection. We ordered the pretzels and cheese, the Scottish Egg, the Welsh Dip and the fish and chips. The food was fantastic, although I'd probably not order the Scottish Egg again, it was a tad bland. Definitely a good spot and more social than other places at Mercato. The ambiance is great on Saturday night. The crowd starts to arrive around 10:30PM, before it's quiet. 20 Association and Hotel Folks, where should we go for a memorable time while in Naples for a meeting? The Pub you say? While staying at the Naples Grande here for a couple days we looked around at close options to the hotel for dinner. The Pub was recommended by staff at the hotel so we chose that for dinner. Ambiance and decor inside was of a true British pub! Even though the seating is hard for big groups, we managed to sit in tables and have great conversation. I chose to eat the Shepherd's Pie, and it was the best choice I made! I had a taste of the Fish and Chips and that was delicious too, but the Shepherd's Pie was out of this world.
