They weren't lying when they said they had the fish and chips in the US! Five stars for fish and chips. Four stars for roast beef dip, and for the others in our party the food was just okay. To be fair they ordered a burger and half sandwich and half salad combo. Service was great. Would dine again. read more

Shout out to my server Alex, she was great! This place has a great vibe. A lot of wood and marble -- dark tones. An incredible selection of bourbons and scotches. Happy Hour is M-F 3-7pm. Great drink specials and $5.50 shareable's. I ordered the Mini Haddock Bites, Served with buffalo and curry tartar dipping sauce. It was outstanding. Lightly breaded, flavorful. A bargain at $5.50. A very chill place with lots of outdoor seating. read more

On January 18th, our Water Aerobic group of 30+ woman celebrated several birthdays at The Pub In Mercato. I called ahead and reserved seating. I can't even begin to say how great the food was, reasonably priced and the service was above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely be going back. read more

Excellent on everything, Naples old classic not to be missed. Great bartenders, drinks and food.

Great beer selection! Service was great! They have Smithwicks my favorite Irish beer. What more could you want?

Stopped in for drinks and dinner one night. Very cool old school feeling pub that claims to have the best fish and chips in the US, so how could I not get those. Not a connoisseur but they were pretty darn good. Great beer selection, TVs with sports on made it a really great evening read more

We visited for lunch Friday. The fish & chips was nearly perfect from chips to slaw, but especially the fish. The batter was crisp and golden. They were a little short staffed, but unless you're an expert, you would never have known it. The servers were hustling and the service was excellent. Highly recommended! Kudos to the manager for making good on a minor criticism from a previous visit in a big way. read more

My family and I had a great time at The Pub. Service was great, especially our bartender Delaney. The bar was SUPER busy but Delaney and the other bartenders were on top of it and we never waited more than a couple minutes for a drink. Friendly service and good atmosphere, definitely recommend! read more

What a lovely evening we had having drinks at the pub and what made the evening more enjoyable was our server Jen. She was so customer-friendly, professional and delightful and added to the enjoyment of the evening. Thanks Jen read more

Stopped in for a few drinks. Social distancing in full effect here. Our bartender was great and really knowledgeable about making different drinks. We wanted sangria and he definitely delivered in his own unique way which was great, because it had his own little touch and was green! Just adding the the Irish touch. We also didn't know this was a chain but we also have been to the one in Nashville as well! Both great service and staff! read more

I was very impressed with the Waitress by the of Taylor, she was very out going. It's a Pleasure to see young people working and not marching in protestor things they know nothing about. Taylor checked on us often and even stayed a Bit to chat. The Burgers are the best I have ever had, I can't to go back, I just hope they are able to keep Taylor working. read more

An honest bar. Dive bar vibes. No problem, nothing wrong with the place. Honest pub vibes. Good fish and chips. Friendly staff. Shout out to Connor! read more

Food was great! Service was very good, noisy, cool atmosphere, nice cars parked out front

Quickly seated despite crowd, which made us happy! Fish and chips reportedly best in the nation...I can't agree with that about the chips, which were average, but the fish was fabulous! Perfect amount of batter, generous portion, delicious! My nephew got the chicken and said it was delicious but small portion! Looked like a kiddie serving. Get the fish...worth every bite! read more

I scheduled a surprise party for my husbands 30th birthday party with the bar manager, Kim. She was extremely helpful and prompt with her responses. The waitresses Jenn & Karley were absolutely AMAZING! We had a large party and they both made sure everyone was getting the best service. One of them went above and beyond and out of her way to make sure we all took a group photo which I am so thankful for otherwise I would of forgot. The food, band, and drinks were 100/10!!! Bartender, Macy, makes THE BEST drinks!! We have a lot of people in our group who are picky about their drinks and she did not disappoint! Everything was perfect! Pub is the best spot in Mercato! read more

Wass sooo hungry and they only place open after midnight around the area was this pub. We decided to give it a try, it looked like it was popping with dj and all. They have inside and outside dinning and a huge selection of beers from the UK. I decided to order the taco platter and the flatbread pizza (Margherita style). The tacos were good but the pizza was soo salty. A friend of mine ordered one of there signature platters that is a fried pretzel with cheese, including a spinach dip. They were satisfied with there selection. Our server brought out our food at a decent time and the food was okay for me. I did not try there beers but most likely if i do come back it would be for that and not the food. The crowd was pretty young and the whole area is pretty live with many clubs and bars. read more

Our "go-to" date night spot, year after year, when we're in Naples visiting. Huge menu, great drink choices, and fun ambiance. Servers are usually rushed due to big crowds, but if you get them on a slower night, they are very attentive. Food is great, too - lots of late-night comfort options to choose from. read more

THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT THE BOOZE. Most of the reviews are good but the food is well, no great - at all. Of course if I were 3 sheets in the wind I might tend to think otherwise The Bangers and Mash are really , really bad. Leaves an oil slick in your mouth for hours. The Reuben? Nope. How can you screw up Thousand Island dressing? If you like music at concert- level decibels and enjoy getting toasted, this is the place for you. read more

Found The Pub Naples on Yelp. Fun and entertaining atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was typical bar food. My husband got the fish and chips. Fish was good, too much batter for him though. "Chips" were undercooked steak fries. I chose the Welsh Dip which was just shaved beef on a pretzel bun. I asked to sub the "Chips" for sweet potato fries. Our waitress either didn't hear me or forgot because I didn't get them. Probably won't return unless I need a strong whiskey. read more

I've been a patron of The Pub for a few years and consistently have a great time there. The Pub is a perfect balance of a young "club adjacent" atmosphere and a slower more traditional bar-like experience. My perspective comes predominantly from the after 9pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday crowd, so this review is from that angle. The employees are all warm and inviting, including the security staff, Drew and Imran. They run a tight ship that keeps enough order to provide everyone the means to have a good time safely, without over-policing responsible fun. The bartenders take care of you quickly and don't skimp on the drinks, which are priced very reasonably. The dance floor and DJ are well utilized providing a more active experience if that's what you're looking for, but without overtaking the bar for those who just want to kick back with some drinks. There's also an outside area which is great if you come with a group. The place is consistently pretty clean which is also a huge plus in my book. The Pub is a great time year round, with the off season feeling more casual and the on season (especially holidays) being the exact right amount of chaotic safe fun. The clientele tends to skew younger (20 somethings), but it's not uncommon to see people of all ages having fun at The Pub. As long as you're not looking for a "melt-your-face-off" kind of rave club, you really can't go wrong. Personally it's my favorite generalist bar in the area, highly recommended. read more

First off, The Pub has the best fish and chips I've ever had! So good. I use to go to The Pub up in Ohio where I'm from and hoped that this one would have the same caliber food and they do, maybe a bit better down here actually. I always love their fun atmosphere and really nice staff, they seem like they really enjoy working there. If you're going for a pint make sure to see what local beers they have on rotation, the Belhaven Scottish Ale is really good too, I haven't seen that one at very many restaurants. If cocktails are your thing, I like the Pub Old Fashioned, or the Pimms Cup is really good too. read more

A true British Pub. Top notch beer selection and British food favorites. Their Pub rolls are great too. Jake the bartender is one of my favorites in Naples. read more

Great place. Recommend for food as well as a bar. Our food was great, did have the fish and chips, the service wasn't great/ odd - not understaffed just how they spent their time, curious. Anyways this is a bar with a lot of depth. It started as a fairly quiet, probably even family friendly, place to have dinner but as it got much later, it turned into an incredibly lively (and fun) full on dance club. read more

The Pub is a great place to go on a balmy night in Naples. Located in The Mercato and next to the movie theatre, The Pub has a fantastic atmosphere, both inside and out. I prefer the patio, great to sit back and watch the world go by. They have great food, drinks and service. Last time we were there we tried the fish n chips and a Scottish egg appetizer, both were excellent! The fish was huge, and the homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw were great. The Pub promotes that they are recognized for having the best fish n chips in the US. After having tried it, I believe it. Highly recommended. read more

We're regulars and usually have a good experience, not the case yesterday. After Hurricane Ian, we decided to support this local pub and have a late lunch. After waiting 10 minutes at our table, my husband had to get up and interrupt the waitresses chatting together by the door to ask for service. One finally came by to leave menus without saying a word. We waited another 5 minutes for another waitress to take our order--the waitress who served us was actually very sweet and attentive. We understand we all just been through the hurricane, but our experience yesterday was very disappointing. We assumed management must not have been around because the waitresses/hostesses hanging near the entrance chatting were annoyed that we disturbed their personal conversation to ask for service. After leaving, my husband got sick after eating the shepherds pie. read more

Took some out of town friends here for dinner. We were 4 adults and 6 kids. Ordered the ahi tuna tacos. Huge disappointment. No flavor. We also ordered the beer cheese appetizer but it came with the meal and when we brought it up the waitress said we did not specify to bring it out first. Well, we assumed since it was an appetizer we did not need to specify. Our table was never cleared, we were never brought water unless we asked. Also the wedge salad was DRENCHED is dressing. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Had to change this to 5 stars because I came back on a SUPER busy night and James was unbelievable in his ability to manage an incredibly busy restaurant while managing customer satisfaction. He made ALL the difference in turning my experience here around! You go James!!!! read more

Best fish and chips in town! Good atmosphere and lively and fun crowd. Highly recommend.

The first night I went I had the best fish and chips I've ever had (even better than UK visits). I went back for a second time and the fish and chips weren't so great (a little soggy/undercooked) but I think it was close to the kitchen closing and they were rushing out orders. Outdoor seating and service is also very nice! Great live music on some nights makes for a fun meal out. read more

The service was terrible! The only service we got was at the bar. We ordered food and all beverages from the bar. Then got ignored for about 45 minutes by our actual server who went to talk to new tables instead of ever checking on us. Our server and host were Teagan and Taylor. Food was subpar too. The bartenders do great though. read more

20 Association and Hotel Folks, where should we go for a memorable time while in Naples for a meeting? The Pub you say? While staying at the Naples Grande here for a couple days we looked around at close options to the hotel for dinner. The Pub was recommended by staff at the hotel so we chose that for dinner. Ambiance and decor inside was of a true British pub! Even though the seating is hard for big groups, we managed to sit in tables and have great conversation. I chose to eat the Shepherd's Pie, and it was the best choice I made! I had a taste of the Fish and Chips and that was delicious too, but the Shepherd's Pie was out of this world. They have a variety of beers, liquors, scotches, anything you fancy! A must go to if in this area of Naples. read more

What's good tonight? Methinks it's the fresh beet salad, plus tomato basil soup. I'm right. The yellow and red beets alternated on the plate, boy girl boy girl, yellow red yellow red. Tasty. The soup could have been a bit thicker, but a small cellophane package of saltines came to the rescue. Just like they did in Ohio a gazillion years ago when it was winter and the tall white box of saltines sat in the cupboard next to the Campbell's soup cans - I crumpled the crackers on top of the soup. Instant thick. We inadvertently found out that Pub Crawls exist in quiet Naples. Two blue & orange Naples trolleys rolled up to the curb and discharged full loads of happy people. It was Flash Mob meets Bachelorette Party. People came in, grabbed at empty chairs, huddled if they couldnt sit, had a drink, and ran back onto the bus. Now that had to be good for Pub business. Even better for people watching, especially from a table along the patio fence where we were. read more

Absolute worst service of any bar in Mercado. Been coming for years and cannot believe how we can sit at the bar with no acknowledgement...not busy. Wow have things changed over the past 3 months. We stopped in for a drink before going upstairs to the theater. They have a bloody Mary bar so we couldn't resist. The beer on tap looked like a good selection. We really liked their beverage menu because it explained a lot about beers and whiskey's/bourbons. They have many different kinds so it was good to have this information. The menu looked to have very good food choices, all British fare. We would go back and eat when at Mercato. I want to try the corned beef Reuben! read more
