After I checked in and sat down the girl at the window needed my ID and insurance card so I got up to give it to her. She was so kind to leave the back office and come around to return those items to me rather than having to get up to get them from the window. I met with the PA first who took all my information and vitals, asked a number of questions and then Dr. Reuter came in and went over the same information. He then explained to me the purspose of the next tests that need to be done and I know he was doing his best to explain the how the heart worked but it was beyond me. I just remember that there are parts of your heart that fire off charges at different times and that the test would tell us how they were working. He spend quite a bit of time with me and I was very please with the whole experience. He came highly recommended by friends of mine who both see him.

I truly believe the confidence as well as the encouragement they have given me is the reason I haven't had anymore cardiac events. But the ONE only issue I have is the very long wait time to speak to a life person in the office so making an appointment can be a challenge. Hoping they can fix this problem. Check-in on the kiosk or at the front desk. There is a sign on the wall that says if you've waited longer than 15 minutes, to go back up to the desk. I thought this was great! Someone was constantly getting called back for their appointment. I loved the "drop a happy note to your doctor" on the table in the waiting area. I noticed a plaque stating the doors may be locked from 12:30 to 1:00, so I waited until 1:00 before returning. When it was still locked at 1:00, the time of my appointment, I knocked to alert staff that I was there. The staff member who opened the door was visibly irritated, pointed to the plaque, and asked if I "had a question" instead of welcoming me or simply saying hello. Her tone and attitude were rude and unprofessional from the start. Once I was inside, another staff member came around the corner and, instead of showing professionalism or trying to diffuse the situation, made a sarcastic comment about the plaque and their lunch hours as she walked away, clearly meant to be rude. If the office is closed until 1:00, then maybe appointments should not be scheduled at that time. It is customary for patients to arrive a few minutes early to check in. Had the first staff member simply opened the door, greeted me, and said "let's get you checked in," the entire situation could have been avoided. Instead, she acted as though I had inconvenienced her by knocking. The echocardiogram technician was not rude, but she was indifferent and impersonal. She seemed rushed and less thorough than other technicians I have experienced. What truly concerned me was that after telling me I would need to undress and put on a gown, she did not leave the room. When she realized I wasn't changing, she asked if I wanted her to leave, but in a way that made it seem unnecessary or inconvenient for her to do so. That should never even be a question. Patient privacy should always be assumed and respected. In my 50 years, I have never had a nurse, doctor, or technician ask that in any medical setting. They always leave the room to provide privacy. It was unprofessional and inappropriate. The room itself also appeared unclean, with a trash can overflowing with used gowns, dirt on the floor, and dirty chairs, which made the environment feel unsanitary. It's a shame when poor staff behavior reflects so poorly on a practice. There are too many options out there to tolerate this level of unprofessionalism.

I have been trying to simply make an appointment and confirm what tests will be done…read more Unfortunately my first visit consisted of waiting almost 2 hours to find out I could not do the required EKG due to some treatment side effects. This time I have been reaching out via their website and telephone for about 10 days and all I can get is odd responses from Rayna. She has advised me that if I don't bring test results, that the doctor has access to, to my appointment then I will have to wait while they access them. I do not understand why they would not pull the actual results and add them to my file. Maybe that is why my last visit was so long? I also cannot get a clear answer on what tests this visit will consist of as Rayna again says none but if they missed the EKG then obviously they will want to do that. Trying to confirm what else and after speaking to her twice it is very clear she does not listen or notate what calls consists of with patients. I have asked that a nurse or someone engaged in patient care calls me back. Fingers crossed after 10 + days someone trained in care returns my call as I liked the doctor but it's like pulling teeth to get info and I am already late for a follow up that never called me to schedule!

Unfortunately, there was a suicide on the high five that shut down Hwy 75 below, backing up traffic for well over an hour. I called 20 minutes before my appointment and explained that I would be there about 4:05 but that I had already completed my paperwork in advance. I was told that it would be ok so I proceeded to the appointment. When I arrived at 4:07, though, I was told that I would have to reschedule. I reiterated that I had called in advance because there had been a suicide on the highway and that it wouldn't be easy for me to take off work again, however the receptionist was unsympathetic and told me it was already 4:15, but her clock must have been fast. I asked for my paperwork back and let her know that I would have to find another Cardiologist. It is a shame that they turned away a patient who was complaining of chest pain for being two minutes too late and that more consideration wasn't given for the highly special circumstances that backed up thousands of commuters today. I guess that, because I was probably the last patient of the day, they just wanted to go home early. :(

Why would this not be changed every day on a covid patient? Oh, just got a call from someone who did not identify themself but asked if i got my dinner that i had forgot all about. It never ends here. 2 nights ago the same thing happened. Is this hospital just here to make insurance money on covid and that's it??? I forgot to mention the bed that broke... And the Respiratory Therapist just showed up and claimed they gave me a new breathing intake tube this morning. Nope, never happened. I have been to this hospital for many things including fighting cancer twice. I came here as I thought I would get the same great care. I guess Covid has destroyed their system..... I regret having to write this review but feel you should know what i have been going through. It's not one big thing, but it sure has been a mountain of issues.

Came in for a stress test on Friday and supposed to take 3 hours or less and it wind up taking nearly 5 hours instead they had scheduled way to many people that day and under staffed and not enough equipment and they kept adding people on for the test. And now today I come for the results and been here over a hour and still have not seen the doctor. I will definitely be finding another cardiologist. And one closer also. My primary doctor referred me to this place. But this place is terrible. And know they can't find the pictures from my stress test.
