Quality of care I have experienced for over 10 years is the reason I am thriving today. Drs. Chhabra and Choudhry are the reasons I fly back to Dallas since having moved back to Calif. I truly believe the confidence as well as the encouragement they have given me is the reason I haven't had anymore cardiac events. But the ONE only issue I have is the very long wait time to speak to a life person in the office so making an appointment can be a challenge. Hoping they can fix this problem. I was referred here by my primary care physician for an EKG and other tests. One of the worst experiences I've had with a doctors office. Non-existent communication, I dealt with multiple calls saying they received my referral, but when I tried repeatedly to make an appointment they said they didn't have my referral! It was bordering on comical, but the complete lack of accountability and knowledge made it more like a humiliation ritual. After more than a week of this, I was finally able to make an appointment and have the procedure done. Quality of care was nothing special, Dr. Suba seemed to be in a rush to get the appointment over with, not much of a bedside manner and a little condescending. I was told I needed to return for another procedure which I was able to schedule at the time, so that was a small victory. When I went back, the woman who performed the more advanced procedure was warm, comforting and professional. Unfortunately I forgot her name, but I feel like she's the only bright spot in that place! So, I was also told they wanted to place a heart monitor on me between my surgeries but when I attempted to make an appointment for that, I was faced with the same circus I experienced prior when trying to speak with an actual person and get something scheduled. Fast forward to today, I've completed both my surgeries and never had a monitor implemented. I will never return to that place, if I need to see another cardiologist I will seek out an independent doctor instead of going through a chain type place like this one. It appears that a lot of the doctors they employ are transplants from outside of the country, and have a different view on what quality of care looks like. read more

This is one busy cardiology office! There is construction in the building, but take the elevator up to the 3rd floor and you can't miss the office right off to the right. Check-in on the kiosk or at the front desk. There is a sign on the wall that says if you've waited longer than 15 minutes, to go back up to the desk. I thought this was great! Someone was constantly getting called back for their appointment. I loved the "drop a happy note to your doctor" on the table in the waiting area. I also enjoyed the positive messages and words of advice and self-care on the TV screens. Lots of positive vibes here! read more

The doctor isn't the problem here. They use the Athena software, and actually sent my co pays to an old 6 year old disputed bill from another doctor from a different location! I will never come here again. read more

Back for a six month checkup. Scheduling and communication was just right. I needed the doctor to sign off on insurance paperwork. So I took advantage of the patient portal to send it to him to review and sign before my visit. Then go to appointment and pick it up. Which is just what happened. The checkin is still done by internet a few days before and simple enough. When you get to lobby there is a self-check in machine to take photo of insurance cards, see photo. Dr's discussion was very good so back in six months. I asked if the visit could be done on same day/time as when I see the other Dr. I was told how to ask for that and will see if I can make appointment with two doctors same day next year. read more

Dr is pretty good and discusses things in details. Had good diagnosis. But , really poor receptionist and scheduling services at all heartplace locations. Either they have too low paid assistants, or too many doctors. The communication is zero, and even tough to follow up from my side as their phone service doesn't work! But the bills are due on time without notice of insurance claims or something else. My suggestion is to go to the main hospital these doctors work at to get better of both worlds. read more

My husband and I are new to Plano from GA and he has hard an arrhythmia for 19 years now and we just wanted a cardiologist in our area. Finding this practice has been the WORST. Seems like the doctors here are too busy for their own good. The only time when someone gets immediate attention is when the doctor gets called into emergency surgeries, which seems to happen A LOT! We can't get any medical assistants on the phones when we call and we leave messages and no one gets back. We send messages in the portal and no one ever calls back unless we follow up. If you have an issue and your doctor is on vacation, don't hold your breathe on someone else giving you an answer. This office is disorganized, it is too busy, staff is unprofessional, non-compassionate, and just rude. I tell them that my husband is feeling worse and worse and is having irregular, skipped heartbeats frequently and we need to get in to see the doctor immediately and they say, "his next available is in June" and we are in the beginning of May.....Please, do not go to this office. They are too busy to care for your needs. read more

Came in today for a 6 month check up. They put me in a gown that was 3 sizes to small, hooked me up to the ekg and never could get an accurate reading off the machine. I lay there with my chest exposed for twenty minutes while the doctor and nurse fiddled with the machine. Plus, they have strange hours and are hard to get ahold of. Last time here for me. read more

I like the Dr; however the front desk is rude --Summer always an issue. I set appt w/Dr Sheran & 2nd appt they switched me to a Nurse, first of all I pay specialist fees to be seen by a Cardiologist-NOT a nurse. I was referred to Dr. A. Nair at HeartPlace for assessment and subsequent testing at their facilities. I found Dr. Nair to be very pleasant and willing to listen to my concerns. He was thorough in his preliminary evaluation and happy to explain the things I did not understand. He prescribed three tests... and I was very nervous and worried but the Stress Tech and NM Technologist were awesome. I found myself laughing and chatting my way through those 'worrisome' procedures. In addition, I experienced smiling faces and a pleasant demeanor while dealing with the office personnel. I was having trouble setting up my portal from home and the receptionist was happy to do it for me. Overall, I would certainly recommend HeartPlace. read more

I definitely recommend coming here for any and all your cardiologist needs. My husband's great aunt was complaining of pain in her left leg and the first person who evaluated her did not seem concerned at all and we ended up taking her to medical center of Plano where she was placed under the care of Dr. Dao. Once under his care she received a 5+ star treatment. He found that she had almost complete blockage in her lower aorta which was keeping blood from her legs. Thesis why she was in so much pain. Unfortunately, the lack of blood/oxygen caused her right big toe to start dying and there for needed amputation. (This is where we praise him the most) instead of amputating the whole foot or the whole toe he only had them amputate what was necessary so that she wouldn't be bound to a wheel chair. This meant so much to us but even more to our aunt. Before all this happened she could get up and move around with her walker. And she had expressed to Dr. Dao that she wanted to walk again and so he made sure that that was something she would be able to do. He's a great Doctor that listens and has a heart for his patients. He also put stints in her legs to get blood flowing again and he did an amazing job. He walked us threw the procedure before and then showed us what he did after the procedure. He's very thorough. He's professional. And to top it off Hera's a great staff/team behind him. read more
