After I checked in and sat down the girl at the window needed my ID and insurance card so I got up to give it to her. She was so kind to leave the back office and come around to return those items to me rather than having to get up to get them from the window. I met with the PA first who took all my information and vitals, asked a number of questions and then Dr. Reuter came in and went over the same information. He then explained to me the purspose of the next tests that need to be done and I know he was doing his best to explain the how the heart worked but it was beyond me. I just remember that there are parts of your heart that fire off charges at different times and that the test would tell us how they were working. He spend quite a bit of time with me and I was very please with the whole experience. He came highly recommended by friends of mine who both see him.

I did once, and she personally returned my call within 10 minutes. How amazing is that? She made my TEE experience wonderful! I truly believe the confidence as well as the encouragement they have given me is the reason I haven't had anymore cardiac events. But the ONE only issue I have is the very long wait time to speak to a life person in the office so making an appointment can be a challenge. Hoping they can fix this problem. Check-in on the kiosk or at the front desk. There is a sign on the wall that says if you've waited longer than 15 minutes, to go back up to the desk. I thought this was great! Someone was constantly getting called back for their appointment. I loved the "drop a happy note to your doctor" on the table in the waiting area. I also enjoyed the positive messages and words of advice and self-care on the TV screens. Lots of positive vibes here!
