Dr. Ritesh Rampuré M.D Even though going for this type of medical issue is never fun, Dr. Fork (as I like to call him...you will understand when you meet him) was amazing! He listened very closely to what I told him I was there to confirm, yet found out I had something completely different! Sadly, I had been dealing with this for years undiagnosed...but he knew right away the problem, started my treatment and within weeks I was feeling so much better. I had been getting injection in my knees, when my illness was causing the pain all along. It's great when you can leave a doctors office laughing...even after hearing that there is no cure for your illness. He really makes this illness manageable and spirits high at the same time...he really is a special type of doctor! Make an appointment...see for yourself, just remember to listen, keep an open mind and know he will do all he can to help make your condition manageable... I believe she was looking at reviews and other recommendations she had seen. I made an appointment. Mostly a meet and greet appointment. He appeared to be attentive and very knowledgeable. We went through the normal routine and he said he wanted to do a stress test. It has been a long time since I did that and I was all in on the program. A few weeks latter I got a call saying they wanted to set up a time to "fit me for a heart monitor". I returned the call and was put on hold. After about ten minutes I hung up. The next day I tried to return the call again. This time I was getting a runaround about an $80 co-pay. I would not think that would be hard to take care of, but the person I was speaking with made it more of a problem than I was willing to put up with. How hard was it going to be to do business with this firm if we got into something harder than taking a credit card number? The older I get, the less patients I have. Don't make it difficult. This woman made it difficult. Over the years I think I have only fired one doctor because of the doctor. I have fired several because of the office staff. Add one more to the staff line. Connected Cardiovascular Care Associates might want to look beyond the doctors and look at the rest of their "team".

Long story short, we came in at 3 am for major abdominal pain for my boyfriend. He could barely move, they did their routine questions and when asked he admitted he does smoke marijuana on occasions and she jumped to "well thats probably your issue" the male nurse also agreed with her and from that point on they were very stand offish. They just assumed they knew what was wrong and wrote off his pain. He assured them he knows his body and he knows its something more serious but the blonde also insisted its her job and she does this everyday. Tried to over explain different new strains have been "causing major abdominal pain." Just diagnosed him with out having any test back whats so ever. And was awfully snobby about it. Then test start rolling back in and shes no where to be seen but the males attitude shifted and he seemed more attentive and warned us some stuff looked a little off. Anyways in the end we ended up being moved facilities to have his APPENDIX REMOVED. Any one whos had the procedure and issues knows the pain. It was very unprofessional and unpleasant. We've never felt more uncomfortable in a doctors vicinity for simply being honest. Just be careful with some of the nurses here and trust your gut, because they will try to write you off and act like they are the doctors to end up being COMPLETELY WRONG.

As he told me, he gets a lot of beefy guys coming through his door looking for drugs, and as I'm a beefy guy (which is funny because I don't think of myself as big at all) he is going to be super wary. So there was never a lot of trust in this relationship. I understand where he's coming from, but still, it was very frustrating for him to not trust me at all. He also kept asking me if I've ever used steroids. I kept telling him the truth, that I haven't, but I don't think he ever believed me. On one level I found that to be kind of a complement, but on another it's a bit insulting that he kept assuming me a liar. I told him that my wife and I are trying to conceive he told me that he wouldn't treat me until we succeeded, as taking just testosterone can cause male fertility problems. When I asked about Clomid therapy or HCG monotherapy his response was "Look if you are just here for drugs save us both time and leave." As a white, somewhat attractive, male, this was my first experience of being negatively judged based on my appearance, which I found fascinating. I decided this relationship wasn't working and moved on to find a more open-minded, less judgmental trt doctor. I do not know his trt protocol, but it wouldn't surprise me if it is the old, conservative protocol of one injection every two weeks, which doesn't work for many people. Given his stubbornness, he also strikes me as a guy who wouldn't change his protocol to fit an individual's needs.

Unfortunately, I needed a hand surgeon after a tree limb took out my ladder dropping me and jamming…read moremy hand in the ground. During the Emergency Room visit at Medical City Plano, they sent my swollen wrist X-Ray to Dr. Zivaljevic. Dr Z as they call him, identified a "dislocated peri lunate bone" in the wrist and scheduled surgery. I had a brace cast (behind the elbow to my fingers) for two weeks as the swelling went down, and moved to a full cast at the two week visit. His great team put the cast on in his office. Amazing process. Dr Z said I would have been luckier to have broken my wrist as bones heal. I scheduled regular visits and changed out the cast around 7 weeks as the muscle atrophy had taken over. Dr Z told me exactly what would happen to the letter over the course of the 3 months of visits. His physical therapy team had me doing finger stretches to keep the mobility going... Everything with a straight wrist. At the end of three months and half a dozen-ish office visits it was time to get the pins out. Another surgery, but this time a day visit so really quick. Now the real stretching and manipulation started, but keep in mind, the only thing holding my peri lunate in was one ligament and now scar tissue. I had to stop stretching so much as to not break up the scar tissue and I'm 70% mobility, which is exactly where he expected and wanted me to be. Strength is increasing and I have serviceable use of my wrist though I would avoid ladders if I were you! [And I had used lots of ladders in the past doing some really crazy things. Crazy stuff happens with ladders and YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE!!!!!] Dr Z was super knowledgeable and insightful. He patiently answered any and all questions I had each time. His staff was super friendly and professional even working with us and our medical sharing plan which caused some back and forth between all three parties, but we are grateful and appreciative of Lankford for working with us. I had calls from their office team reminding me of appointments and from Dr Z's nurse Kristen, who I even had the need to call her cell phone to ask a question. She was happy to help and advise. Dr Z said my outcome was fantastic in his experience. I had followed their instructions fairly well, only I didn't do as many reps stretching as they recommended. During a visit, I also asked about other Dr's in his office at Lankford Hand Surgery. From Dr Z's description, it sounds like they can handle any hand surgery even if intricate nerve reconnection work is necessary. If you have a hand surgery need, reach out to Dr Z and Lankford Hand Surgery. Dr Z and his team will take care of you. PS. Their downtown Dallas office can use some sprucing up, and they were in the process of doing some reorganizing and rearranging as I was "graduating."

I was scheduled for mallet finger surgery and had already pre-paid both the surgical center and the surgeon. Based on the office's urgency, I cancelled a non-refundable flight home cross county to visit an elderly parent with cognitive decline. Despite this, the office cancelled my surgery only hours before it was scheduled to take place. When I asked questions regarding my procedure, the office manager informed me that I was 'not a fit' for their practice, explicitly stating, 'your surgery is not significant enough to be bothering our staff with these questions'. While I eventually received a refund of my surgical fees and recouped the costs from the surgical center, the financial and emotional toll of the last-minute cancellation was significant. I subsequently sought care at the Orthopedics Institute of North Texas with Dr. Patel. Unlike the previous recommendation, Dr. Patel determined that surgery was not necessary given the angle of the injury. I have since successfully treated the injury with a splint and physical therapy with Inga Krips, and I am now almost fully healed. I HIGHLY recommend these two people. They are extremely competent professionals. Patients deserve clear communication and professional treatment, neither of which I found here

Staff explained that they were too busy to make reminder calls. I tried to resolve these concerns before choosing another OB-GYN practice, but instead of hearing why I was frustrated, staff repeatedly asked me to pay the $35 fee. I was not given the opportunity to speak directly with my doctor about the office's communication and policies or to have my concerns properly reviewed. I understand patients are responsible for keeping appointments. However, an office that charges a $35 no-show fee should also provide basic appointment communication and listen to patients who dispute those charges. Automated booking confirmations and reminders would help prevent missed visits without requiring individual calls. A clear process for addressing patient concerns and reviewing disputed fees would also improve the experience.
