They require constant visits, and it feels like nothing but a cash grab. I've been on medication that works great for me. However, when it came time for my refill after 60 days, I was told I had to come in and pay $145--for what? The medication works fine. I followed their instructions back in December, refilled my meds in February, and now it's May and the same issue again. With inflation and the rising cost of living, who can afford to pay out of pocket every time just to get a refill? And let's not even talk about the cost of the prescriptions themselves since I haven't met my deductible. Please explain why an in‑person visit is required for refills within a 60-90 time frame? Every refill requires another appointment, regardless of whether the medication is working. It honestly feels like they are milking patients. I only see these people for one thing yet they want me to come in for other services. Why? I only want to see you for one thing. They then said, I would need to show them proof of getting wellness services else where. Why? I don't have to prove anything to you'll. I only see you for 1 thing. So why the hold up. If the money went toward improving the office, it might make more sense--but the place looks untouched since the day they moved in, likely back in the '70s. It's old and outdated. Trust me--if you value your time and money, go somewhere else. Find a provider who cares more about patients than padding their pockets. GREED IS RUNNING THIS OFFICE.

I never feel rushed, and all of my questions are answered. I love that I can also walk in with out an appointment. When I have an appointment of course that is better because I don't have to wait long. As a walk in my wait time depends on how busy they are and I am assuming the patients who have appointments. I have been seen immediately at times as a walk in, and other times it did take a long time. I was ok with that because at least I didn't have to go to the hospital or wait until I could get an appointment. On Fridays they use to have the staff wearing blue jeans. I loved that. It was part of there casual down to earth atmosphere. However I did not think that this implied that they were not serious about medical culture. I am so sorry that they are no longer having there staff wearing jeans on Fridays. I love this practice. I know that alot of people want everything to be cosmopolitan and chic. This practice is not that. What it is is clean, warm, caring, with staff that is smart, and knowledgeable, and loves people. For me this is more my cup of tea.

I didn't call back as I had a Dr appointment on the 31st and got the Dr referral. I then didn't go due to another medical issue. 10 Apr, I went into the NRH location and made an appointment for13 Apr. Today they canceled my appointment again only to call again to reschedule. Instead, I met with a genuine, down to earth, personable doctor that actually listened to all my complaints and I mean all of them lol. Not just "my back hurts," but also my entire medical history. Dr. Desaloms already has my MRIs up on a giant screen ready to review my issues. This office clearly invests in top-notch technology, and it shows. Love his PA Stephanie (extra bonus points for having her in his back pocket!). He's not the kind of neurosurgeon who pushes surgery just because he can. I couldn't get to the call until after 5pm at which time they were closed. Why didn't they call earlier in the week? I got a text on Sunday telling me they now have security gates. In this text was the name of this hospital. This was the first time I knew the name. I never got a text or email detailing my pre-op procedure. I tried calling on the Monday of my procedure but no one answered my call. It is now Tuesday and no one has reached out to me.

I made 4 payments on time, then they failed to cash my May check. I called and they said they would keep a look out for it. Didn't receive June bill, called about that, the guy in billing said he would send it out. It never came. May check still uncashed. I suspect they have turned me over to collections but I never answer those calls because of scammers. This is a very unprofessional outfit and unless you are rich and can pay upfront, I cannot recommend this surgery center. Someone is not doing their job in billing and they expect me to do it for them? Nope. I'm old and don't need the stress.
