UPDATE AFTER SHOP OWNER RESPONSE…read more Nice try. I brought it back 7 days later with the receipt and was treated poorly. The saleswoman brought it back to the owner who refused. I tried to reason with them for a return or.credit and was denied this simple courtesy. Pretending to be courteous here doesn't change the review or my opinion of your shop. I would advise anyone to skip this shop. - - - - I purchased about $100 worth of fabric and notions a couple of weeks ago. I bought a seam ripper, too. I paid about $11 for it. When I got it home and took it out of the package I found that the point of it was dull, chipped, and it didn't work. I took it back with my receipt and was told that since I had taken it out of the package they couldn't resell it, so no refund or exchange. Wow. Obviously they don't want return business. Just imagine how you get treated if you buy a sewing machine from them and have a problem. It never occurred to me that a business would care so little about customers. Obviously I'll be shopping at the Fig Leaf instead, where they are friendly and make customers feel welcome and appreciated.

(even if it's just a sale section - just at-least something) they have fine stock, but crotchet and knitting is a much bigger demographic, so why not appeal to all fiber artists? lame i cant find a yarn store with reasonable prices. i'm stuck with hobby lobby and michael's also they don't have any chenille idk - just doesn't seem sustainable, serving a niche market, while also charging insane prices. which is super lame because they have such a good space and clearly there is passion.

I've relied on Rockywoods's to supply my repair business for many years. I feel incredibly…read morefortunate to have them remain downtown Loveland-so convenient from Johnstown. Their hours are abbreviated for in person pick up orders so this requires extra planning, but not impossible. They ship quickly. They cruised right through Covid, continuing to do sidewalk meets and provide the service I needed so I could keep my business open too. From my point of view Selection could be broader but I think they carry the majority of what's popular in outdoor supplies. pricing is always good and they get style points for being willing to answer questions. This is an A+ business!

But the zipper puller didn't fit the zipper. Had to reach out and ask if they sent the wrong one. They are sending a replacement, but they said they usually don't if it has been 5 days since you received your item. Which is a very short amount of time. Also, how Am I supposed to know you sent the wrong zipper if none of your bags are labeled? 5 days is a short time. if the company messes up the order, they should fix it no matter how long it has been.

This review is specifically for The Cupboard's knife sharpening service…read more I had several issues with the service: I was told the sharpening would take 48 hours. No one contacted me within that timeframe, so I waited an extra day and called myself. Only then was I told it was finished. The knife came back with a burr on the tip that I had to remove on my own. A sharpening service should inspect their work and handle basic finishing before returning the knife. The knife was damaged, and nothing was mentioned to me. It looks like a mechanical sharpening tool was used, and it left a noticeable gouge in the finish. This is a $250 Benchmade pocket knife that was essentially like new. Overall, I'm very disappointed. The communication was poor, the knife wasn't ready when promised, the finishing work was subpar, and they damaged an expensive knife without acknowledging it. I only noticed the damage when I got home. While the knife still functions, it's extremely frustrating to have your property damaged and not be informed.
