UPDATE AFTER SHOP OWNER RESPONSE…read more Nice try. I brought it back 7 days later with the receipt and was treated poorly. The saleswoman brought it back to the owner who refused. I tried to reason with them for a return or.credit and was denied this simple courtesy. Pretending to be courteous here doesn't change the review or my opinion of your shop. I would advise anyone to skip this shop. - - - - I purchased about $100 worth of fabric and notions a couple of weeks ago. I bought a seam ripper, too. I paid about $11 for it. When I got it home and took it out of the package I found that the point of it was dull, chipped, and it didn't work. I took it back with my receipt and was told that since I had taken it out of the package they couldn't resell it, so no refund or exchange. Wow. Obviously they don't want return business. Just imagine how you get treated if you buy a sewing machine from them and have a problem. It never occurred to me that a business would care so little about customers. Obviously I'll be shopping at the Fig Leaf instead, where they are friendly and make customers feel welcome and appreciated.

My 7-year-old…read moregranddaughter and I stumbled upon Mystic Willow Boutique while exploring downtown Greeley, and it felt like stepping into Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. You enter from the back of the Nerd Store off 8th Street, go to the back and out to the alley, hook a right and look for the purple door -- then head up the big staircase. The whole experience is whimsical and enchanting. The shop is packed with beautiful crystals, rocks, incense, sage bundles, tarot cards, candles, magic books, and all kinds of mystical items. My granddaughter was absolutely fascinated and spent a long time exploring everything. She ultimately chose a tiny bottle of "Bloom" perfume, which has an incredibly powerful and lovely scent for its small size. Even though it was $30, it was worth every penny to see how happy it made her. What really stood out was the kindness of the owner. When my grandfather asked about a some pretty stones she fancied, he went in the back and came out with a beautiful similar stone and gave it to her as a gift. That small gesture made her day and left a lasting impression on both of us. If you're looking for a unique, magical shopping experience (especially with kids who love "witchy" or Harry Potter-type things), Mystic Willow is absolutely worth finding. Highly recommend!
