The staff is very welcoming, knowledgable and very willing to spend time with the clients to make sure they have a great shopping experience. With my wife being a knitter we have visited many knit shops throughout the country and Canada and this shop by far has the most inventory of any shop we have been to. Although some of the products are a bit pricey you are paying for a quality product so it is worth it in the long run. They also offer lessons which we were not able to partake in but i am sure they are very good. Oh and did I mention that they are very friendly and fun to talk with. I've relied on Rockywoods's to supply my repair business for many years. I feel incredibly…read morefortunate to have them remain downtown Loveland-so convenient from Johnstown. Their hours are abbreviated for in person pick up orders so this requires extra planning, but not impossible. They ship quickly. They cruised right through Covid, continuing to do sidewalk meets and provide the service I needed so I could keep my business open too. From my point of view Selection could be broader but I think they carry the majority of what's popular in outdoor supplies. pricing is always good and they get style points for being willing to answer questions. This is an A+ business!

But the zipper puller didn't fit the zipper. Had to reach out and ask if they sent the wrong one. They are sending a replacement, but they said they usually don't if it has been 5 days since you received your item. Which is a very short amount of time. Also, how Am I supposed to know you sent the wrong zipper if none of your bags are labeled? 5 days is a short time. if the company messes up the order, they should fix it no matter how long it has been.

Not sure how they know exactly what I need before I need it! Such a nurturing environment to shop and create. Miss being able to stop by and just hang out and work on my projects. Have attended so many of their events in the past and can't wait until we can all be together again. Love the classes and learn so much. Thank you ladies for making my days brighter and keeping my life full of fun and magic! Love ya'll!

The store itself is rather small and is laid out more for cropping sessions than filled up to purchase stuff. There is a small selection of paper, pre-made layouts, and other stuff you can use on your layouts (paints, for example). I spoke to Kim and she was very nice and helpful. It sounds like they have regular cropping sessions and classes available every month. It's nice to be able to learn different techniques from different instructors. If I lived up here, I'd be interested in going to one of their cropping sessions or classes.

What I really like about this store is that I believe it is husband/wife/family owned. The husband Darryl dyes yarn and I got a skein of his very cool fingering yarn during my first visit. (even if it's just a sale section - just at-least something) they have fine stock, but crotchet and knitting is a much bigger demographic, so why not appeal to all fiber artists? lame i cant find a yarn store with reasonable prices. i'm stuck with hobby lobby and michael's also they don't have any chenille idk - just doesn't seem sustainable, serving a niche market, while also charging insane prices. which is super lame because they have such a good space and clearly there is passion.

UPDATE AFTER SHOP OWNER RESPONSE…read more Nice try. I brought it back 7 days later with the receipt and was treated poorly. The saleswoman brought it back to the owner who refused. I tried to reason with them for a return or.credit and was denied this simple courtesy. Pretending to be courteous here doesn't change the review or my opinion of your shop. I would advise anyone to skip this shop. - - - - I purchased about $100 worth of fabric and notions a couple of weeks ago. I bought a seam ripper, too. I paid about $11 for it. When I got it home and took it out of the package I found that the point of it was dull, chipped, and it didn't work. I took it back with my receipt and was told that since I had taken it out of the package they couldn't resell it, so no refund or exchange. Wow. Obviously they don't want return business. Just imagine how you get treated if you buy a sewing machine from them and have a problem. It never occurred to me that a business would care so little about customers. Obviously I'll be shopping at the Fig Leaf instead, where they are friendly and make customers feel welcome and appreciated.
